@LemmyRN baby A had the same thing . Although since I am having identical twins and baby b does not have it I am pretty confident they will both be fine ( since they would both have to have it or neither one of them ) . My husband is still freaking out a little , though . Everything else was clear though. We have another scan on Friday ( the type of twins I am having require them to get looked at every 2 weeks ) and a full echocardiogram on the 26th to make sure their hearts are good with no holes etc since they are also high risk for that . Can't wait until I am holding my little guy's on the outside!!
Just found out our DD is getting a little sister and I'm beyond excited. I'm one of two girls and my family is almost nothing but girls. Hubby grew up with boys so was positive this was a girl. He's over the disappointment though. We're so excited!!!
They also found an echogenic focus of the left ventricle. We did first and second trimester blood screenings so they said there's no need for concern. One of my close friends is an OBGYN as well and she also said don't stress if the other genetic screenings were fine. I'm going back in a month for another US just to be sure but I'm there with ya. Happy she's healthy and that this won't affect her heart function. Congrats, mamas! GirlMoms unite!!!
Had my 2nd tri scan couple of weeks back, and doc said 98% chance that we're team noise with dirt. Hubs is a little disappointed and hanging on that 2% chance it could be a little lady, but I'm highly doubtful. I'm just happy it's healthy! lmao. Gestational Diabetes test next week and prob another scan so should be able to get a confirmation on gender then
After making it through over 20 scans, fetal surgery turned intervention, amniocentesis and more still rocking team green, our fetal surgeon accidentally spilled the news and you ladies are hearing it even before my family!
We're absolutely stunned because these lung lesions occur in boys 4x more frequently than girls (literally EVERY piece of clothing we have bought is blue or gray) and because "mom's intuition" was boy all along. Only two people we know thought girl, too! haha, I guess my intuition is a little off. It was the surprise of a lifetime for both of us and we're still shocked a week later, but it was so fun to get some good news in the middle of this grueling process. We're proud of our fighter and can't believe how strong and brave SHE is already. Wahoo!
