@lund HIiiiiiiiiii friend!! I'm definitely buying that book!
yeah the soft serve is usually off limits because you don't know when the machines have been cleaned. If you trust the place and think they clean the machines daily, I wouldn't think the risk would be too high.

@charlestonchew I cut out the artificial sweeteners to help increase our fertility and then when I tried to go back to them they just tasted strange. Now I am a sugar in the raw kind of gal.
That book sounds interesting @lund...I just ordered it! By the way it's super cheap on ebay. I got mine for 8$ . I love books based on facts.
We eat plant-based so a lot of the food stuff doesn't relate to us but I definitely cut out the caffeine and only take my rescue inhaler after I've tried everything else. Like others said I'm not going to drive myself crazy. We followed every rule in the book and still had 2 losses. I think you just gotta be smart when making decisions and you'll be fine. I frequent the "Mother to Baby" website. You can chat with live experts who give you the facts with data about every and any medication and the studies that support the pros and cons. Great website. I highly recommend anyone checking it out.

*Ice machines are cleaned less frequently (read as NEVER) than soft serve machines are.
Definitely feeling overwhelmed with the rules sometimes! Not so much with food, but there's so many recommendations about not eating out of plastic containers and only drinking from glass or stainless steel bottles. And for sure don't keep using the same wonderful Treseme shampoo you've used since you were 15 years old because it has chemicals in it that can hurt baby and on and on and ON the list seems to go. I'm doing my best to just take a deep and try and sift through what I can and can't do, one step at a time.

The water bottles and kitchen stuff was a gradual switch for us, that took over a year. I'm still not sure the shampoo I use is the best, but the "healthy" shit doesn't clean my hair. As far as cleaning stuff goes, if it's a concern to you, you can switch what you use, or use up what you have while wearing a mask and gloves. 90% of my house is cleaned with vinegar and water.
@ivyvines6 Yeah luckily I already clean house with mostly water, vinegar and occasionally bleach for anything particularly sketchy lol! But yah any natural shampoos I've ever tried before have left my hair dry as a bone and fragile! I think I might have to risk it and compromise with only waking my hair every three days instead of every other or something.
On my calendar over the next two months: mozzarella making class and sushi making class. I think it's great that the common theme seems to be "I'm taking rules in moderation." I'm more concerned about being healthy, taking the vitamins and getting enough rest. I like turkey sandwiches and sushi too much.... plus I feel like eating these options is better than the alternative of eating a bunch of processed food?
