I, too, still pee on tests. I just use wondfos and mine still aren't as dark as the control but nearly there. I've learned to not let wondfo freak me out anymore. I just love seeing that second line anyway cause I've never seen it before.
@sparkymcgeee Be careful with those tests that say how many weeks you are. Some ladies have super low start HCG or implanted later and I've seen those ladies get freaked out because it said they weren't as far along as they thought. Which made them think their beta was dropping! Just lookin out for ya.
@charlestonchew I have a love/hate relationship with wondfos. I got a bfp at 7 dpo on one from an old pack and then wouldn't turn a positive on the newer pack until 9dpo. Those 2 days were hell.
My random for today... my cousin's wedding is tomorrow!!! I'm so excited but so not looking forward to the 6 hour+ drive to San Diego with a 2.5 year old tonight.

That's actually kind of why I want to get it. My numbers were only 17 and then 68. But most likely I won't because I'm still super cheap and I've peed on lots of things so far.
Careful of the Wondfos. I didn't get a faint positive with this pregnancy on the Wondfos until the day before my period was supposed to start. With the FRER it turned super dark before the control line popped up and I'm sure it would have showed a BFP way sooner had I used one of those rather than the Wondfos. By measurements and US I ovulated and implanted at exactly the time I was supposed to because I'm right on track based on LMP dating. I've read other women are finding Wondfos to not be as reliable as they used to be. So don't use those as your "OMG time to freak out" test.

I probably have messed up priorities but I'm so glad my packages for my wedding stuff came today and didn't get held up because of the weather. (And by weather I mean the hurricane)
Ugh y'all. I gave birth in Texas last time and my doctor was the bomb. Seriously. He was SO chill, anti intervention and knew how to calm me down about things.
My doctor here. I made the mistake of looking her up. Y'all. HER CSECTION RATE IS 60%. I'm officially freaked out. Apparently, they still have 2 older male doctors who perform routine episiotomies. So now I have to go back to the drawing board on finding a doctor. I'm frustrated.

Oh I'm so sorry. I would definitely go back to the drawing board.

Oh no. no. no. no. that CS rate is crazy. Maybe she's the only certified surgeon on staff for the practice so does all of them?? I'm just trying to figure out why 1 in 2 would end in a CS. And stay the eff away from the episiotomies. For real.
She's not the only certified surgeon. It's a huge practice. I don't get it. But she's had 3 elective C Sections. And no one is trained in version there either. I had a 6lb 7oz baby with one stitch. One tiny stitch. If ANYONE comes at me trying to cut me I'll lose it.
The teaching hospital has labor tubs and special rooms for natural moms. I'm getting an epidural because I'm a wimp, but I don't want a ton of interventions I don't need.
I just needed reassurance that I'm not nuts and that's not okay or normal.

I'm the same way. I like the hospital setting but there's a limit to what I want done. I had two fantastic births and my doctor was amazing. I'm in a different state now so I'm a bit nervous about that but I picked a GREAT doc. He's so caring and so nice. He's also young (younger than me actually) and really attractive so that's odd but I feel like he's not going to come at me with scissors and tons of things I don't need.
I know this has been covered MANY times but I cannot figure out how to paste a gif... I can do it from giphy into a text no problem, but how do I save it and put it in here using the picture icon??? Feel free to use annoyed gifs with me for asking again
@char245. I was able to copy my gif and paste into into just the body of my signature in preferences. Did not have to select the mountain/picture icon. BUT ONLY ONCE I USED MY LAPTOP. You can see all my fails I'm the siggy poll thread when I tried using my iPad. Hope something works for you!
So background before I go into my dilemma. I hate my job. More specifically, my boss is very toxic. So after my loss in April I decided to start looking for a new job and I applied for a job with a great company that I've considered moving to for quite a while. I had a phone interview in May and it's just been in the process since then. I have an in person interview on Tuesday.
I'm torn. I thought I would have started before getting pregnant and it would have worked out for FMLA by then. Now I don't know what to do. When I get offered this job, do I pull my app and explain to them that I would absolutely love it but I will have to reapply in a year or do I just take it because anything can happen anyway and hope they have a really good policy?
Ugh. They finally stop dragging their feet now?? I could hack it out for another year where I am.
@sparkymcgeee go to the interview. If they offer you a position, bring it up in salary negotiations. I left a toxic job to basically run my own business and have no salary and it was worth it for my sanity! You've got this!
@sparkymcgeee agree with @Poppy0419. It can't hurt to interview and find out if you're still interested in them. If you don't you'll never know! Good luck!
@sparkymcgeee I agree with the other ladies, you should at least interview and go from there. Being in a toxic environment won't be good while you're pregnant.
I'm in love with mashed potatoes. They're the only thing that doesn't make me want to barf. I've eaten an excessive amount today. I might need an intervention.

Your baby’s organs are buried inside its own body, then covered by layers of amniotic fluid, amniotic sac, uterus, muscle and skin. The most common reason for seeing regular rising and falling motions in your belly include:
It’s your own heartbeat. The aorta is pushed closer to the surface of a woman’s body in pregnancy.
It’s baby kicking or experiencing the hiccups.
If you have an anterior placenta, you may be able to feel the placental beat, in rare cases.
**lurking from April** Hey guys, I just came from April to lurk and read the drama. I hate to do this but I just wanted to comment that the above bolded section is not true. The abd aorta is a retroperitoneal organ and is not pushed forward by the growing uterus. It's located between the uterus and the spine for the entirety of pregnancy.

Ok. You should definitely take that up with the person who wrote the article then.

Then you have two options. Option one is to select a gif from your phone that you saved to your camera roll:
Option two is to past a URL from a searched GIF:
Just pasting a gif into the text doesn't work from what I've found.

I can't tell from your tone is you're offended that I corrected the info or just directing me to the website.
