Oh man yes. This reminds me of back in my wedding planning days, I used to follow A Practical Wedding and the runner of that blog had the thinnest skin of anyone I had seen in the world. She did a sponsored post raving about the wonders of Bing and a lot of people were pretty perplexed about what the hell that had to do with weddings. She deleted all the critical comments, and then did a "reader's poll" with a question asking what people thought of sponsored posts where the two options were something like "I think it's great!" or "I don't think you have a right to make a living". I eye rolled my way right off that blog after that.
The bump has notoriously been science based, not glitter rainbows and unicorn farts. It is very much tamer than it used to be. Women on here will call people out for scientifically inaccurate information because sometimes it can be dangerous. Women who've had losses may stress that somethings wrong because they can't feel their baby breathe when it's been medically proven that no one can.
Also you'll pry our gifs out of our cold dead hands.

Unfortunately, y'all are proving my point about bullying here on the Bump. 67% of you think that it makes more sense to blame the victim than to stop bullying. You didn't have to vote, but you needed to let everyone know that it's not your fault you bully - that's just the way things work.

As someone who has actually been bullied in real life and online I am telling you that you are being too zealous about this subject. We are speaking about a hypothetical person saying a hypothetical thing and saying that it is scientifically impossible. This poll is taking things too far because you are assuming that you are allowed to police what other grown women are saying to each other in a public forum. I do not want to see this board devolve into a mean girls part two special saying you can't sit with us because we are the cool kids. I am personally not going to put up with bullshit fake things on this board anymore that I'm going to put up with that in real life. Pregnant women don't need to be sheltered from reality anymore than children do. I am also not going to put up with people in this group calling each other names or accusing them of things that they are not doing. I appreciate your opinion, and I value your attempted empathy and compassion in this matter, but I am not going to accept false information being spread. (Because people go to these boards from Google searches and gather information from them.) this particular time is not the time to get up in arms about this subject.

Other inaacurate medical info shared is the woman who said she was showing at 3 weeks, the one who said she felt the baby move at 6 weeks, the one who said she could feel the fertilized egg descend down her fallopian tubes, the one who said all babies have heartbeats at the moment of fertilization. These are not opinions. These are flat out medical inaccuracies and scientific fallacies. Members of the Bump don't tolerate inaccuracies such as this being shared. Again, not bullying.
Now if someone told you to harm yourself or degraded your children or called you at bitch or anything like that, that is bullying and those people would have been called out or reported by others.
