You are not one of those women who gets their period but is actually pregnant and doesn't find out until 6 months. You don't need to take a pregnancy test. Your period just ended. You can start peeing on things again soon. Be patient!
@doxiemoxie212 OMG get out of my head, I was JUST thinking "hmm, my period seems to be lessening/light for day 3. Maybe I'm just a SUPER late implanter and I'm totes ku, I should poas when I get home just to make sure." Note to self: no Coconuts, you aren't KU, you're just insane.

@doxiemoxie212 Again, I am feeling like an enabler, the opposite of this thread's intention, but TW imho based on my bw with my CP, I believe they are sensitive below or even well below 20 miu. end TW The FRER early result manual is still going to be the most sensitive and will be positive at something like 6.3 miu. Got nauseous on Saturday when I had not even ovulated yet. Affirmation to future self who is Xdpo: you are a human who sometimes gets nauseous for no reason, it does not mean you are ku.
**TW** @jamiem522, I was prescribed progesterone suppositories by my OB because I've had two losses. Unless you have a known LP deficiency, are going through medicated cycles, or have a history of loss, you don't need progesterone. I'm not sure about any supplements available without a prescription, and if you find them I would be wary. After taking it for 3 cycles and it causing me a lot of bad depression and other side effects, I'm not sure that I'm going back to taking it, especially since I'm not convinced it's necessary in my case. So no, no one really "likes" progesterone.
ETA: "Progesterone cream is not generally recommended postpartum or while breastfeeding. It has been shown to be helpful for the baby blues/postpartum depression though. Talk to your doctor about this, especially if you are breastfeedingas some evidence shows that progesterone can effect lactation from occurring." @jamiem522 I'm fully aware that I'm going to sound like a major B, but I honestly don't have the patience right now to phrase this in a way that I don't sound like one.
Seriously, do I f'ing like taking progesterone?!?!? Yes, of course, I just love it when I boobs hurt like hell and I'm moody AF and I'm exhausted all the time. It's a real treat. I don't take progesterone because I "like" it. *TW* I take progesterone because I've had two losses. Not only have I had two losses, but based on progesterone tests done by a doctor my progesterone is incredibly low. In fact it is 4.6 when medical professionals usually want to see a level of at least 10. At that level even if I'm able to get pregnant there is a good chance that I would not be able to maintain the pregnancy without progesterone supplements. *End TW*
So no, I don't "like" taking progesterone supplements. In fact, I hate it. If this is what I have to do to get a take home baby though, then I will do anything that is needed.
Like @icecubeinthedesert said hormonal supplements/creams/etc should only be taken under medical supervision. Additionally, I would never trust any hormonal supplements/creams/etc that are not a prescription or approved by the FDA.
I hope in the future you'll be more cognizant of how you phrase your questions.
@KariAnn323 I'm thinking of using progesterone cream next cycle but I haven't read much about supplements. Do you like them?!
I echo what ever else has said, do not take anything like this without your doctor's approval. Actually, don't take anything without their approval! I am also curious as to why you're thinking of using cream? Have your levels ever been tested?
Progesterone, both suppository and injectable, were not an enjoyable thing for me to do. I didn't feel great on them and the countless needles were a pain, literally and figuratively. And hopefully, in a few months, I'll be taking them again (the pio) while doing my fet. Not because I like them, but because my body needs the extra help and I'll do anything to have a healthy baby in my arms.
After puking because I took a prenatal vitamin on an empty stomach. MH: is this morning sickness?! Me: no, we just discussed that I'm ovulating at the end of the week! And we discussed what ovulation is last month.
Me in my head: well maybe I'll be one of those pregnant people who still get their "period" while their pregnant.
No you are not KU, you just need to remember to eat before taking vitamins!
Affirmation: A temp dip at 4 DPO cannot be an implantation dip. I mean, seriously. Please see the diagram you've looked at a million times and realize the answer is no:

@aurora1973 A related affirmation for me: the temp dip today is much more likely to be because the bedroom was really cold, and not an implantation dip.
@aurora1973 I am going to print that diagram and put it on my fridge (at home - not in the office, that would just be weird...) to remind me 4DPO is nothing related to implantation lol!!!

@nimmle my husband (middle school Math teacher) and the middle school Science teacher had a discussion about ovulation and getting pregnant when science teacher texted me his "gf" tw *who got pregnant accidentally while on depo was 13 weeks that day *tw and we needed to work on getting pregnant and I texted back we'll I haven't ovulated yet so it will be more than 13 weeks apart. He didn't know what ovulation was and ask mh if that's something he should know being a science teacher... Also the guy who texted me last year asking... If a girl is pregnant and due this date and we had sex at this date could I be the father? I'm. Not sure what you need to do to be a science teacher, but I'm pretty sure human reproduction should be a key topic.
Sorry for the rant, stupidity has been angering me this week.
@jhysmath Lol, the science teacher didn't know ovulation? I thought reproduction is a standard unit for Bio at least. I have vivid memories of my Mother (my HS Bio teacher for regular and AP) slapping down a diagram of a Uterus and a Penis on my desk and proudly stating "Time for reproduction" to my utter embarrassment as a 14 year old.
@nimmle That's what I said! I think it's absolutely ridiculous but he's an idiot a lot of the time. He's 26 and I'm 30 and MH is 42 and last spring we sat him down and had a talk about safe sex during one of the many dinners we went out with him, and obviously he didn't take what we said to heart because well *TW* now he's going to be a daddy with a girl he was just hooking up with *TW* . I swear it's people like him that make STDs spread.
Just because you turned an HPT this morning you ARE NOT PREGNANT. You just did an HCG trigger shot last night and only testing to make sure it took.... idiot.
@SkilledSailor I am only at 49% on that. But I'm really bad at inputting the other data. Possibly a blessing in disguise. I have kept myself away from the "countdown to pregnancy" site thankfully. For now....
Yeah, I've stopped tracking most of the "specifics" because the FF points were getting my hopes up every time. I think I've now resigned myself to the fact that I'm always irritable, tired and cramp-y during the TWW and it's never going to mean anything by itself.
You've been having protected sex this whole cycle because you're benched. You're NOT pregnant.
