@beach_mama i figure it'll go away with time right? I actually got them a ton in high school too. I'm sure you're in the, washed too many bloody sheet and pillow cases through the years club. Sigh. Not a cool club!!!
@ekendall09 it's awful! Pillow cases, sheets, comforter...augh! The good news is she is 4.5 and is better with the mess now. We have had her wake up looking like something out of the walking dead before...
I'm hesitant to put this out there bc i don't want people screaming "don't do this!!!" at me but oh well here it goes. Every couple of days we will put a very small amount of vaseline on a qtip and rub it on the inside of her nose. It keeps the walls from drying out and helps lessen the number of nosebleeds she gets. My pedi told me to do this trick when i was a kid. I wouldn't do it everyday or glob it on or anything. She tends to get them more in the winter which is when we do this. Not so much this time of year.
@beach_mama that was suggested to us as well. She wasn't really good about it. We do a humidifier often which is hit or miss for helping. She knows when hers are about the start and comes to get in me before the mess generally! Mines 4.5 too!! (well almost) They also told us vitamin C helps. shes not big on citrus but we take gummy vitamin C every day.
@julzy yes! Because I have the nerve to eat...because i have the nerve to sit down on the couch instead of the floor..because i have the nerve to go to the bathroom...because I have the nerve to sleep at night...crazy toddlers.
Because i cleaned ds room and "ruined it!" Because we were playing baseball and ds couldn't hit it so i was cheating, clearly.... Because i told dd she couldn't color on the walls. Because i told dd she couldn't drink the dogs water. And many many more reasons. Now they're sleeping and i just want to cuddle them even after the cry filled day. What's wrong with me?

Yes that strange phenomenon is definitely a thing. I will be counting down the moments until date night (to get a break from the kids), finally get away to dinner and immediately start wondering what they are doing/wish I could see pictures.

@sjn00 that's too funny lol my son used to fart in the tub and laugh until the time he pooped and freaked out and wouldn't get back in the tub for a month!
Re: My toddler is crying because....
My toddler (dd2) is crying bc "i don't like it". I am not quite sure what "it" is.

Because she eventually had to come inside.
Because I took her shoes off before bed.
Because I wouldn't let her eat dog food.
