This is my Marlie. She's a Bengal kitty and I rescued her at about 6 months old in Jan 2011, so she's 7 now. She talks a lot and has a smoker's voice, so Marlie comes from Marlboro

Love this! Here are our beloved fur babies! Archie, our sweet mutt we found at the pound less than 24 hours before he was set to be put down due to shelter overcrowding, Calamity, a kitty surrender who was given to us by a friend who was a vet student, and Clementine, who my best friend found in an alley! We're so lucky these cuties found their way to us.
Our kitties are Elijah (long black hair), Neela(not pictured) and Seis (brown top, my little mutant). Our two rescued pups are Keavy (border collie mix) and Kaz (shepherd) they are next to our DD with Santa last year.
Here's my Drake. He just turned six and is currently our only child. He has no idea poor guy!
Is Drake a Vizsla? We have a Vizsla (Frank) who is right around the same age. They are a fabulous breed (very energetic), and I am looking forward to see how he does with a newborn. Hopefully it goes well when you break the news to him.
This is my handsome Duke. He was a rescue from a neglected hoarding situation. The owner was actually found out when Duke and his litter mate wandered out to the road and got hit by a car. His litter mate didnt survive, but Duke got by with a few broken ribs. The vet clinic I worked at worked with animal control so that's where I first met him. Brought in as a scared (not socialized at all) injured pup. I worked with him to socialize him as he healed so he could be put up for adoption. However, after weeks of working with him I couldn't bare to see him go so I adopted him and he's been the most loyal, laid back, easy going dog and is so gentle with DS#1. Couldn't have asked for a better dog. As for his breed, the mother was a Catahoula, the father is unknown though.

Duke is our Husky, Dolly Parton is our coon hound, and Gunner is our Great Dane/Lab mix. Duke was recently shot in our neighborhood after he scaled our 6 ft privacy fence (hence the bandages). It broke both of his back legs.
This is our Madison! She is recently adopted after losing our two elderly papillons earlier this year. She's wild, but super sweet and a great running buddy!!
Luna is my rescue puppy. I got her at about 4 months she is now 8. She tolerates DS and is lovable and crazy thus her name Luna. That and her beautiful blue eyes that remind me of the moon. She is a border collie mix. I think she has some hound in her.
I wanted to share this, because these two just got rescued (literally) from our house today. We live in a Houston and have had 6-8 feet of water in our house since Sunday. We couldn't take them when we escaped. My husband jumped on a firefighter's boat and got them out today. Dancer and Freckles
A week ago, a new fur baby joined our farm... We didn't know mama was expecting, so I thought she was constipated (hope my labor doesn't involve me pooping). Mama gave birth while I was in the house getting a thermometer. Baby is named Suri (short for surprise).
