@saralee797-2 It was a ground turkey salisbury steak recipe. I used a can of condensed cream of mushroom soup instead of the "easy cooking" soup the recipe calls for because I couldn't find it in the store. So I just added more milk to the soup to thin it out and I also added beef broth to mask the mushroom taste a bit. It turned out really good and he had no idea!
I just had a total wifey/future mom win tonight... my H "hates" mushrooms (I just think he's convinced himself he doesn't like them) but I love them so I'm always bummed when I find a recipe I want to try that includes them. Well tonight I decided to make a ground turkey recipe that calls for cream of mushroom soup and my husband had NO IDEA. He really liked the recipe and I feel so proud of myself for getting that one in under the radar.

This is the same as my husband. Apparently what he really dislikes about mushrooms is their "slimy" texture (IDK) but he's fine with cream of mushroom if I want to cook with it.

Growing up we always had to use cream of celery or cream of chicken instead because my Dad is so picky he can tell if something is made with cream of mushroom
