Why is everything a symptom of pregnancy?! My silly husband had to go and catch a cold earlier this week, so of course now I have it too. But on top of that, I have no appetite, tastes of things (toothpaste for example) keep making me gag, I have lower back cramps, and my nipples are super sensitive. And I'm super exhausted pretty much nonstop. Although that could be the progesterone I'm on. I just have to hold out until Tuesday to find out for sure. Until then, I'm just going to assume that I'm sick. What a delight! (Thanks for listening to my rant!!)
@husewife I feel you. I've been so darned exhausted that I've fallen asleep on the couch 3x this week, and slept through my alarm twice. I'm trying not to symptom check and get my hopes up since it's probably the progesterone, but I can't help but hold out hope. I have my BW to check progesterone levels today. Hang in there - cold or no cold, stay positive!
@husewife omg me too. I've taken a nap at lunch every day this week (Love working from home ) and still been tired the rest of the day. I didn't test today. I'm to nervous that I'm gonna have a BFN. Hubs prob gonna convince me to take it tomorrow morning.

@marfi236 I was wondering if you had tested today or not. Sounds like you're holding off, which will hopefully give you a more accurate result. My doc said to wait until at least 14dpo since even the early detection at-home tests can give you false results before then. FX you get a BFP this weekend!

I'm right with you, @marfi236 BFN for us too. It's sad for sure. We were hopeful on our second IUI. No AF yet. I'm not taking progesterone but my bw has always shown high progesterone levels. So much so they didn't test this time. I think it was 55 or something last cycle. I am taking estrogen so will likely stop that now. :-(

@Labluver2 the first iui I think it was 5 or 6 and TW that cycle ended in CP end TW. The next 3 cycles they started me on progesterone a couple days after iui. This time they decided to wait and see and test progesterone and it was an 8- liking that it is higher than first one.
@bpietronicco 8 isn't too bad my Dr likes it above 10. I have suppositories that I have never used. Last re made us buy the trigger and the sppositories and then we didn't even use them bc they told us nothing was covered even tho our insurance told us the monotoring was. That's when we swiched. Fx for you I really really hope this is your cycle. Only thing I have is headache and very tired.
@manders85-2 I'm sorry to hear you got a BFN too. I was taking progesterone and af showed up about a day and a half after I stopped taking progesterone last month. So hopefully af will be here in the next day or so! Are you having another cycle in September?

@bpietronicco same here I was excited that myprogestrone was alot higher that the past 3 cycles but know that doesn't really mean anything. I'm also so tired last night I was asleep by 830 and didn't get up until 9 this morning and was still tired I'm ready for a nap again and headaches. Other that that nothing. I am a little sensitive to smells bUT all these I brush off from the trigger. All we can do is hope and pray and this will be a long week.
Don't think so, @marfi236. I think we're going to wait until November to try IUI again. I won't be traveling as much for work and gives me time to try an acupuncture regimen leading up to the IUI this time

So Wednesday was IUI #3.. On Thursday I started getting these incredibly sharp pains on the left side. I ended up leaving work and the pain got worse and worse, along with a fever. I called the doc and he put me on antibiotics right away and said it could be a number of things. I took Tylenol and the antibiotics, and within a few hours my fever broke, and by the next day the pain was decreasing. My doctor told me to give it the weekend and come in on Monday if i was still hurting... Or go to the ER over the weekend if I really felt I needed to. My abdomen is still a little sore, but I'm feeling much better than I was, so I think I'm in the clear.
But I was just wondering if anybody ever experienced something like this after an IUI?

@puppyluv13 I had very similar symptoms after my first IUI. Sharp pain (in my right side) and a fever. Doc did an US and it turned out to be a huge cyst in/on my right ovary. And I mean baseball sized huge. Pain subsided within a couple of days and the cyst was luckily gone on its own by the time I was ready for IUI #2. Not sure if that's what's going on with you, but it sounds similar. FX you feel better and figure out the cause!
Ugh I hate the last week of the tww. Why does AF and pregnancy symptoms have to be the same. 8dpiui very tired have been since about 3dpiui I'll go to bed extremely early and still be tired in the morning. Headaches,bloating, today my boobs feel heavy, crampy, only thing I have different is my nose is all stuffy it occasionally runs and I've been sneezing alot and sore throat but could also be my allergies since the weather got a little cooler. This week I will be afraid to go to the bathroom and wipe in fear of seeing the dreaded AF.
The symptoms are such a tease! I took a negative test yesterday, (at 14dpiui) no AF, still have sore breasts and I'm sleeping a TON and napping in the afternoons too. The worst part is knowing that the test is probably very accurate but still hoping with the faintest shreds that I'm pregnant anyway. I'll probably get AF today or tmw.

@manders85-2, FX that it was a false negative. I think all symptoms should be super clear for specific things! Or at the very least stop immediately upon a BFN.

@puppyluv13 Glad you figured out what was going on, at least! Cysts are definitely painful - I was bent over on the floor in my office with my last one. Hoping it goes away quickly!
16 dpiui and still no AF. I called my RE and the nurse said it was odd and likely not pregnancy but to call in a few days if still no AF. I'm thinking a cyst or something? Any other reasons i wouldn't get AF with a negative POAS? Thoughts? @marfi236 , did you get yours yet? I did a trigger shot and everything on the 10th!

@marfi236 I was wondering if you had tested today or not. Sounds like you're holding off, which will hopefully give you a more accurate result.
