    CD: 1 - for sure this time

    WAYDTGKU: Following my husband on his work trip,bbt, bw, SA, vita, no booze (yikes).

    R/R: I can't believe it's Tuesday but feels like Friday afternoon. Blah. This is going to be alonnnngggg week !!! I have to go buy a book and get my butt to bed earlier than 1am.

    CS/Q:

    GTKY: What family member are you closest to emotionally? This is a tough one. My family isn't close - at all. My Grandmother was my best friend and she held us all together but she passed away like 10 years ago and then we all kind of fell apart. I would have to say my Dad is probably the one I am closest to emotionally now.

  • @pebbledam I always wished I had a brother. I have one sister and it's nearly 5 years since we spoke. Our family totally fell apart after my grand parents passed away. I feel like a brother would be less drama !

    @Cricket648 I have nothing in mind yet ! My H usually picks my books for me haha. I am so indecisive it's awful. I just finished After Anna which he picked out. It was great ! I'm usually into Thrillers !

  • Off my phone and on my computer so that means it's TIME TO TAG!

    @pebbledam I hope your acupuncture appointment goes well! I am far too afraid of needles to do anything unless absolutely necessary, so I have total respect for anyone who can do it.

    @flashley-2 I'm with you, girl. I am ready for this week to be over and it's barely started.

    @Cricket648 That's so cool your grandma taught you how to sew and knit. Mine taught me how to crochet. What kinds of things do you like to make?

    @charlestonchew I hope you got that O!
  • @JennyColada FX for your O today!  Think we'll be CD buddies AND O buddies?? LOL  My MIL and I get along really well, *TW* but since she watches our girls for us every day until I get off work, I find her slightly more annoying.  *end TW* I still love her, and feel closer to her than my own mom most of the time.

  • @pebbledam I know I've told you this already, but I really hope the acupuncture helps. I'm sure your schedule only adds to your anxiety. I feel you on the not posting much. I sometimes feel like I don't fit in anywhere.
    @flashley-2  I have trouble getting to sleep sometimes when I start reading. I may or may not have (I have) hit myself in the face with my kindle because I was going to read just one more chapter and then fell asleep. I was going to ask what is next on your reading list, but I see you've answered that. lol.
    @Cricket648 what does "teaching procedures" mean? clearly I'm not a teacher. Glad to hear you can keep an eye on your student. I know it always made me feel special as a kid when a former teacher would "check in" on me.
    @kiwi2628 I hope you get to enjoy this cycle.
    @nimmle forgive me if you've already talked about this, are you going to Disney for any special event or just a family trip? where are you staying? We are going for a few days in October for food and wine fest and I can't wait.
    @sandbar517 yikes, I know what you mean about watching something happen and it seems like slow motion. I'm not much help with the CBAD, i'm a wandfo girl. If one of the ladies here can't answer, maybe try the CS/Q thread?
    @JennyColada FX for you.
    @Augusta108 oh no! sorry about the migraine. Enjoy that vacation!

    Month/Cycle: 10/11

    CD: 6

    WAYDTGKU: at this point in the cycle: pnv, bbt, cm

    R/R: HSG scheduled for tomorrow. Also big work change coming. I was super stressed about it yesterday, and was just looking forward to going to yoga and focusing on breathing and movement and then theme of the class was change and the mantra she gave us was about facing and accepting change. I think it is amazing what the universe gives you when you need it.

    CS/Q:

    GTKY: What family member are you closest to emotionally?
    do my dogs count? kidding, aside from DH I would say my older sister. She is the one I call when I have news good or bad or have a big decision to make. There is a pretty big age gap between us, so she is kind of like a second mother.

  • @Augusta108 Seriously, I think the whole first episode was boring, but hoping the next one will bring more. I'm just waiting for someone to start crying.

    @Avrilmai We are just going as a family trip. My Sister and I decided to go with my Mom, Niece and Nephew. Then on Mother's day we revealed to our Mom that we are staying at the Polynesian resort. She's always wanted to stay there. It should be the food and wine fest when we're there so I'm super excited. Also, last time we were there Soarin' was closed, so we are happy it is open this time. Fast pass already obtained for that and the new Pandora ride.
  • @flashley-2 - it's funny that you mention drama. My older brother and I aren't close at all because I steer clear of the drama. My little brother is a very different story.
    @sandbar517 - Those CBAD are tricky and the manual definitely recommends using the same one throughout the cycle. Did you use the one from the last box? If not, it has no memory of your baseline and may give you a solid smiley prematurely. I recommend getting some wondfos to cross check if you have a next cycle.
    @JennyColada - FX that today is O day and you don't have to force the HIO anymore this week!
    @Augusta108 - That sounds like a dream vacation to me! Can I come too? I promise I won't be a bother!
    @Avrilmai - How much older is your sister? I'm kind of like a 2nd mom to my little brother because he's 7.5 years younger. I'm glad you are feeling less stressed. When is your last day?

  • @sandbar517 Your rant made me lol a bit. Sorry but you made the whole slomo thing just to real ! I'm lucky to get the boys to put the toilet seat up !!! After Anna was a good read ! If you have never read trafficked by Sophie Hayes - you should !!

    @Augusta108 Sounds good. I will check my local bookstore to see if they have Final Girls. Love a good read !! I hope your migraine stays away and you get to enjoy the rest of your day !

    @Avrilmai Good luck on your HSG. I am about to make a doctors appointment and hopefully my doctor will finally refer us to an RE. It hasn't been 12 months but 12 cycles soooo I am ready to do something other than what we have been doing !!

    @pebbledam I used the one from the last box with my last cycle, but not at all with this one.  When that happened this morning I used of the ClinicGuard ones I have and it looked, if not positive, very close to positive.

    @flashley-2 Glad I could give you a chuckle!  Thankfully I was in a mood where it made me just shake my head and laugh, too.  I haven't read Trafficked, I'll have to check it out.  Thanks for the recommendation!

    ETA: @avrilmai your comment made me laugh.  Mostly because I've done it, too!  Phone, kindle, actual book.  Definitely dropped them all on my face while reading.

    @pebbledam 9 years between us. possible TW we always joked that her kids would babysit mine, well it's looking like that will be true if I ever get KU. One of her kids is now in high school. end TW.

    @flashley-2 thanks! GL with getting the referral. I was anxious when I talked to my OB because we hadn't hit 12 months, but she assured me that 11 cycles was fine with this type of testing for me.  I've always wondered about the cycles vs months thing. I hope things go well for you.

    @nimmle awe, what a nice family trip. I want to try the new Soarin' too. (FFTuC?) I've never seen Avatar...

    WAYDTGKU: PNV, OPK, Preseed, BBT (didn't last month, but will start again), monitoring CM, and lots and lots of shenanigans!

    R/R: Well after being 5 days late, AF finally reared her wicked head. Not exactly what I wanted, but at least I am no longer in limbo. I also found out that more likely than not, DH will be gone during my FW every month starting in Oct through Feb, so that's discouraging.

    CS/Q: Getting back in the swing of things after several months off temping, and I'm struggling to remember why the alarm is going off early.

  • @charlestonchew Yay for +opk!

    @nimmle Mine actually taught me how to crochet, too! I just find knitting easier, so that's what I do. I make a little of everything. Usually just things friends & family ask me to make. I think the last thing I knitted was fox hats for my cousins. What kinds of things do you like to make?

    @sandbar517 I can't believe it landed right in the toilet!

    @Augusta108 Sorry you're not feeling well! Hopefully it passes soon.

    @Avrilmai We teach procedures like how to walk in the hallways, how to turn in a paper, how to ask to go to the bathroom, etc. That's literally all we do for the first few days of school, so that by the time we get to the real content the kids know how to behave (or ask a question, or work with a group...). It's really important, but it's so boring. GL on your HSG!

    CD: 4/4

    WAYDTGKU: PNVs, OPKs, BBT, Pom juice, I just happen to be on Prednisone this cycle for a completely unrelated issue so I wonder if that'll help at all.

    R/R: Rant: I go here now. Rave: We're officially going to Iceland and that's a pretty good consolation prize.

    CS/Q:

    GTKY: I talk to my mom the most but my brother and I just click and get along ridiculously well.

    @pebbledam Oh I hope the acupuncture goes well! I've heard great things about it.

    @Cricket648 Aw that's so sweet that you're closest to your grandmother!

    @charlestonchew Yay for O!

    @JennyColada FX for O! That's sweet that you're so close to your MIL.

    @MrsBunz. Sorry about late AF as well as upcoiming FW travels.  FX it happens for you before then.
    @nimmle. Ohhhh, crochet.  YouTube has it all!
    @cricket648. Whew, your peoceddures sound like a whole lot of busy work :/ Do you think it helps "Know how" vs actually do?
    @nimmle @ajsanders-2.  I can do great eating well for a while.  Once hormones hit, though, whhhhew.  You make a great point that feeling better far outweighs weight loss (no pun intended!).
    @flashley-2.  Hopefully they can at the very least get you on the books for 12 calendar months. FX everything works out.
    @pebbledam. *hugs* (unless they make you more anxious).  I hear you in not posting whe, you're more anxious.  GL at your appt.  Will they work on general health, fertility, MH?  Take care of yourself!!
    @augusta108. Have fun !!  What are you reading?
    @kiwi2628.  Enjoy no tracking!!
    @sandbar517. Yay for extra DH time!  What all things do you like to sew? Your comment about your sis made me miss mine incredibly. We are close with a similar age gap, but hours apart.

    @jrm_14 I usually sew clothes.  I've made Halloween costumes, a few dresses, some scrubs, curtains....that's about it.  I only do it once in a while for special occassions, or when I can't find the exact thing I'm looking for in a store.  Yeah, it's so nice to have her so close.  My others are farther away, so it's nice to have someone to hang out with.

  • @nimmle omg yes YouTube for everything!!

    @SkilledSailor Omg Iceland sounds amazing!

    @jrm_14 Yeah, they suck to teach, but they're 100% worth it. We have to be really structured, so there are really specific ways the kids have to do things. But by the time we get to teaching content, they're pros at things like switching centers, getting their paper ready to do a writing assignment, etc. It cuts was way back on behavior problems.

I got a +OPK on CD 23, and we BD'd morning and night on that day, but hubby has been out of sorts this week, so haven't had a chance to do any more than that. I got a temp dip on CD 23, and a good temp rise on CD 24, but this morning I had to get up early for an appointment and my temp had dipped again ( I took my temp 2 hours early) I'm so frustrated :(

Maybe I'm getting old, but do you really have to teach them how to walk down the hall? wait, never mind, I know the answer to that, I deal with it everyday at work...I can see how that would be an important part of the year. • @babyboywish I'm not 100% sure, but everyone is different. You seem to have all the other signs and it's entirely possible it was because you were significantly earlier than normal. I would wait to see how you do over the next couple of days before worrying too much about it. Try and temp around the same time if you can.
