1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 6 weeks! Chocolate chip or sweet pea.

2. How are you feeling? Pretty good! I'm hungry every 2 - 3 hours, but then feel bad if I eat too much. I get short waves of nausea here and there, but mostly my stomach just feels crummy. I have a lot of pulling/stretching feelings in my abs, some light cramping and my boobs are bigger already.

3. Any appointments coming up? Two weeks from tomorrow.

4. Rants, raves, questions?
Rant: Summer vacation is drawing to a close and back to my classroom I go.
Question: I'll be reaching the second trimester right around the same time as we'll be at DH's cousin's wedding. I'd like to have told everyone by then, so that I wouldn't have to fake drink, and since that will be the only time we'll see that side of the family... BUT, this would be the first great-grandchild for his grandparents, and I don't want to be the AW at the wedding. How far in advance of the wedding would be acceptable to make an announcement so as not to seem like we're stealing their thunder? Or is it just better to wait until after?

5. GTKY: What smells like summer to you? We live in wildfire country, so I often think that it doesn't really feel like summer until I can smell smoke in the air.

Great! I'm still not really feeling any symptoms. Just very faint cramping on and off and a tad bit of nipple soreness. Just the nipples though, is that weird? lol

3. Any appointments coming up?
Not until 9/7!

4. Rants, raves, questions?
I know it's different person to person but how long do you think most women can hide their pregnancy for? Like when do you think the bump becomes obvious?

@JJMNO1616 My nipples were super sore last week! The rest of my boob, especially the underside, eventually got a little tender too, but really, it was just the nipples. It's mostly gone now though....

2. How are you feeling? Ok, actually. Which is weird because my last pregnancy had me feeling like crap at this point.

3. Any appointments coming up? Not until the 28th *sigh*

4. Rants, raves, questions? I am...displeased with how much stomach I've grown. I'm not eating more, still exercising, and doing everything right, but nope, giant belly.

1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 6 weeks - sweet pea, pomegranate seed, ladybug!

2. How are you feeling? HOLY HELL I'M CRANKY. I was at a conference yesterday, but I'm back in the office today and both my office phone and cell phone won't stop blowing up. I'm legit considering throwing both across the room. Also, my nausea decided to pick the day that I was at a work conference to get worse - which was yesterday. Still not very bad, but I was sitting at my table listening to speakers wondering if I was going to have to make an embarrassing mad dash to the bathroom. Luckily, no hurling and it only lasted for a couple hours.

3. Any appointments coming up? First ultrasound bright and early Monday morning!

4. Rants, raves, questions? so excited that we're leaving to visit my family on Tuesday! I'm excited to (hopefully) have an ultrasound picture to take with since we'll be telling my family when we're there. I'm also using the following Etsy items for the reveal. Of course the wine label will say "April 2018." And, I have no idea why the card is pictured in a pile of trash lol:

@hedgepig YUP. I totally have to eat about every 2 hours otherwise bad things happen in the form of nausea, EXTREME hunger, or crankiness. And, if I were you I'd probably announce 2 weeks before the wedding to make sure you're not stealing thunder. Or, if you'd rather not announce that early I'd just wait until after. I mean, you could announce the day after the wedding and it would be just fine.

@JJMNO1616 only my nipples are sore most of the time. In the last day or two I've noticed more my breasts becoming sore (mostly the underside like @Hedgepig said), but its still mostly just the nipples. And, I say when you show depends on how tall you are and your build. I'm almost 5'9 so I'm not expecting to show much until well into my 2nd trimester because there's plenty of room in my torso. Of course STMs usually show earlier.

Ultrasound on a Monday and I cannot wait! TW making it past 6 weeks is a big milestone for us in our battle with multiple pregnancy loss.

@ngolimento I'm in rural northern California! Luckily we haven't had any big fires nearby this year (we've had more than our fair share the past couple of years), but we're getting smoke down from Oregon right now.
P.S. Did your spotting go away? And did your temp go back up this morning?
@lund Thanks, I thought a couple of weeks ahead would be OK too, but we'll see how we're feeling about it as we get closer.

This is my first ticker change!

@hedgepigI would announce a couple weeks before or wait until after the wedding, especially if it's the first great-grandchild. Are you close with YH's cousin? Maybe you could tell the cousin first and ask what he or she would prefer.
@JJMNO1616With my last pregnancy I only had pain in my nipples, but my boobs grew overnight. As for hiding the pregnancy, as a FTM you can probably hide it until 16-20 weeks with the right clothing.
@ngolimentoI'm sorry you are having a hard time with the bloating. But it will turn into a real bump in a few weeks.
@lundYay for your first US on Monday! GL! Also, I'm going to steal your wine bottle announcement idea. It's perfect for when we announce to DH's family.

1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby? 4 weeks, baby is the size of a fleur de sel.

2. How are you feeling? Pretty good, other than having crazy dreams every night I don't have any other symptoms and I'm not going to stress about not having an ms. A few times a day I have a bruised feeling in my uterus, I wouldn't call it cramps, but it's uncomfortable.

3. Any appointments coming up? Nothing until Sept 1 (US) and then Sept 6 with my OB.

4. Rants, raves, questions? Question - Would a poached egg count as a cooked egg or is it still considered raw? I stayed away from them with my last pregnancy, but I could really go for some eggs benedict right now.

5. GTKY: What smells like summer to you? Freshly mowed lawn

@hedgepig, my spotting went away, thank God. Thank you for asking after me! My temp did go up this morning, but my two year old unexpectedly woke up really late, and my reading wasn't taken at the right time to be very useful. Yay for sleeping in though!

5 weeks and baby is the size of an apple seed

2. How are you feeling?
Feeling pretty good still, sore for the daily pio injections and boobs are sore as well. Starting to get more tired as well.

3. Any appointments coming up?
I am seeing my RE and my OB right now. It seems kinda odd, but my OB is ordering more hcg draws than my RE did. I have had 3 hcg draws and all of them have at least doubled. But my OB wants me to hit 3,000. I have an U/S with my RE in one week on the 17th and an U/S with my OB early next week too.
