@tfrangul From what my doctors have explained to me, an established nursing relationship won't cause the same effects as a FTM pumping/expressing close to term. This coming from 3 of my obstetricians.
@Rhubarb7216 Omgsh good luck lady!!! Healthy mom healthy baby and have a great delivery!
AFM: (whoops posted before I finished)
We had our growth scan today that was going to decide our induction date. Baby girl is 6 pounds, 13 ounces at the 66th percentile. She grew a bit more since she was in the 50s 2 weeks ago. Amniotic fluid is on the higher side of normal. But blood flow is good, and baby is practicing breathing perfectly and moving lots. So we discussed my higher blood sugars being stubborn, and she said well I'm not opposed to 37 weeks, she'll do fine at 37 or 38. So we left with her giving her blessing for 37 weeks.
Then I talked to my OB. She said, well Dr. A wasn't very helpful in giving us direction! So we talked about the whole picture including my good lab work, BP and protein. She said we will tentatively schedule for 38 weeks, and if something comes up on Monday or Thursdays MFM growth scan then we'll induce much sooner. So.. we are going to try to set Wednesday August 23rd as our induction date for now. DH wanted her born on August 19th - he may still get his wish, but for now we're letting her grow and be healthy. Hopefully not gaining too much weight and size.
