Re: Sunday Ticker Change - 8/13
6 weeks, blueberry
2. How are you feeling?
Okay. Nausea started back up but no throwing up, tired, out of breath easily, CM has started to pick up.
3. Any appointments coming up?
Not for another 2 weeks
4. Rants, raves, questions?
Saw a tinge of blood this morning on TP after FMU and it will definitely freak me out for the rest of the day. I know spotting is normal, just not fun to see. Nephew is possibly having a reaction to his chicken pox vaccine or the actual chicken pox and he may be "quarantined" for a week which totally screws up us trying to tell the family since he's the center of it (BIL is in town next weekend). I hope he gets better soon and that's priority, its just that telling DH's family was going to be so much easier than telling mine (we have to fly to Texas) and now that's kinda getting messed up. I'm just tempted to tell people over dinner or the phone and be done now. This was the thing I was most excited about but now I'm just frustrated lol
5. GTKY: Who is more excited to tell family/friends: you or your SO?
It was me but now our announcements are getting a little messed up. DH is excited but doesn't have a problem waiting until right before the baby is born but I'm around his family a lot and just want to tell them already. I can wait to tell my parents if I could.
Married: August 2014
TTC #1: February 2017 - BFP 7/28/17; EDD 4/8/18; DD born 4/7/18
TTC #2: February 2019
5 weeks, and baby is the size of a peppercorn.
2. How are you feeling?
Feeling pretty decent! Major symptoms are breast tenderness, bloating, cramping, and constipation. I was quite cranky yesterday as well, and Im blaming it on the hormones.
3. Any appointments coming up?
Another beta draw tomorrow morning. If things look good, this may be my last one until my first ultrasound at 6.5 weeks.
4. Rants, raves, questions?
I'm feeling really wonderful about everything so far. This pregnancy is a dream come true and I'm excited and anxious to experience all of it!
5. GTKY: Who is more excited to tell family/friends: you or your SO?
Definitely DH. He's an only child so this will be the first grandchild for his parents. His entire family knows about our struggles with infertility, I have a feeling they will be overjoyed when we tell them.
Me: 29 DH: 35
Married 5/3/14, TTC ever since
DX: Lean PCOS, Clomid resistant
Femara 7.5 + Ovidrel = BFP! Due 4/15/18
7 Weeks - Blueberry
2. How are you feeling?
Feeling good. Nausea is still super minimal, which is awesome! Bloat is pretty obnoxious at the end of some days making me look 5 months pregnant.
3. Any appointments coming up?
Not until the 22nd.
4. Rants, raves, questions?
Nope
5. GTKY: Who is more excited to tell family/friends: you or your SO?
I think we were equally excited. Last time he wanted to wait till almost 10 weeks and this time he was ready to tell at 5. So all our close friends and family have known now for a couple weeks.
Baby #1: Aug. 2016
Baby #2: April 1st, 2018
5 weeks; peppercorn, orange seed
2. How are you feeling?
Pretty good. Symptoms are very different from when I was pregnant with DD, when I was hungry and tired all the time! This time around I'm having some dizziness, insomnia, increased sex drive, and I'm super emotional. Thankfully no nausea so far with this one either!
3. Any appointments coming up?
First appointment is Sept. 5th at 8w2d.
4. Rants, raves, questions?
Holy olfactory powers Batman! I don't remember smells being so strong last time! Changing DD's diapers is torture right now!
5. GTKY: Who is more excited to tell family/friends: you or your SO?
We are both still kinda surprised by this pregnancy. We knew we wanted a 2nd and weren't preventing, but because it took so long to have DD, we didn't expect this one to happen so easily! We almost told our families a week ago when we got the BFP, but decided we want a little time being the only two who know and will tell our families after the first appointment and US like we did with DD.
2. How are you feeling?
Pretty crappy. This is my third pregnancy but first that I've felt legit morning sickness. It's like I have motion sickness allllll the time.
3. Any appointments coming up?
First ultrasound tomorrow! Woo!
4. Rants, raves, questions?
Nothing much. Just that first tri sucks a big one.
5. GTKY: Who is more excited to tell family/friends: you or your SO?
1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby?
6 weeks. Size of a pea.
2. How are you feeling?
Siiiiiiick. Threw up coffee this morning, that sucked.
3. Any appointments coming up?
One with a pregnancy counselor on Thursday, from there she will set me up with an OB im hoping for the following week.
4. Rants, raves, questions?
Not really.
5. GTKY: Who is more excited to tell family/friends: you or your SO?
Eh I think both of us are kind of neutral this pregnancy, not really in a hurry to tell anyone. But we already told his parents and sibling and so that's basically it to tell haha.
6 weeks, Sweet pea
2. How are you feeling?
Sore boobs and major nausea (but I haven't thrown up!)
3. Any appointments coming up?
First appointment is next Friday
4. Rants, raves, questions?
It just sucks to always feel like I'm on the verge of throwing up
5. GTKY: Who is more excited to tell family/friends: you or your SO?
It really depends on who we're telling. There were/are certain people that each of us couldn't/can't wait to tell!
1. How many weeks are you? How big is baby?
5 weeks. Peppercorn
2. How are you feeling?
Mostly normal, sometimes nauseous, last week back pain, a little moody
3. Any appointments coming up?
OB won't see me till Sept 19th! I hate the long wait. Makes me neurotic.
4. Rants, raves, questions?
Nope
5. GTKY: Who is more excited to tell family/friends: you or your SO?
I think I am. DH is very excited but I like surprising people.
7 weeks - little blueberry!
2. How are you feeling?
Mostly like sh*t. Super tired and nauseous all the time. Getting a little better at controlling it with eating but it's still very much there. Boobs still sore and lots more cm the past few days.
3. Any appointments coming up?
First one is 8/22 - a little over a week away! Hoping to hear the heartbeat then and schedule 1st US at that Appt.
4. Rants, raves, questions?
Just ready for the worry/anxiety and sickness of 1st tri to be done already (5 more weeksssss)
5. GTKY: Who is more excited to tell family/friends: you or your SO?
We are both excited but DH is way more anxious to. He wants to tell everyone asap and I'm trying to reel him in for a few more weeks. We've done parents, siblings and closest friends so far. At this point I'm like actively avoiding hanging out with people so we don't have to tell them.
