I have a funeral for a co-worker's wife this weekend where I know I'll be ugly crying for sure. Other than that, just relaxing and now that you mention pizza that's definitely going to happen lol

We actually have a pretty packed weekend! Today I am supposed to go to a baby shower (I have no idea if I should tell my friend if I am pregnant or not yet). Then we are supposed to go to a BBQ (more should I tell people awkwardness).

Then tomorrow I am taking a friend out for lunch, and it has somehow turned into a big group.

I am going to be tired. Introvert + 3 parties in two days = blaaaaaaaaaaah

We are heading close to NYC for a baby shower! We all slept in until 8am which is really glorious with a 13 months old baby; so I feel in pretty good shape this morning!

@ngolimento I would keep it hush at the baby shower so she can have her day. My cousins bachelorette is coming up and I'm just not going to drink and not say anything until after her wedding which magically falls on week 12 lol not telling any of my family on that side until a week after her wedding so she gets some afterglow haha

@ngolimento I agree I would probably not mention it to her until later. You never know how another pregnant lady may react, she may feel like you are stealing some of her thunder. But you know her best!

My baby is turning 2 next week so I am going toy shopping today... Not looking forward to the tax free crowds. That is this weekend, right?

@karabeers @Crystal321 I definitely worry about trying not to steal her thunder. I may just be worrying unnecessarily, but she is a really cool lady and probably will have alcohol at her shower for guests. I am hoping the other ladies will be so focused on her that nobody notices me sipping water and OJ the whole time.

Yeah it wouldn't have bothered me one bit, but some people can become crazy with the hormone overload, lol. Regardless, I am sire it will be a great time!

Tax free weekend is actually this weekend here in Texas. @allowachick I'm not sure if every state does it but it's a back to school thing where stores don't charge tax so parents can buy school stuff.

I had to work this morning, which I was quite bitter about. Then I had a playdate with DDs best friend, whose mom I adore, so it was fun, but now I am exhausted.

Tomorrow, I hope not to leave the house. My aunt and uncle are coming for dinner, I hope they bring my cousin's kids so my kids can play with them.

This morning DH, DD and I went to the diner for breakfast. Shortly after being there, my grandparents randomly showed up. My grandmother yells over to my table, "when are you due to have that baby?" I tell her April and to keep it a secret since I'm not really telling anyone yet. Luckily she did it right then because shortly after that, my uncle then randomly comes in to the same diner. (Side story, I told my grandfather because we had gotten into a car accident during my TWW where my car was deemed total and I only had a few days to get a new one. He was my salesman so I kinda told him because I was thinking I might need a third row since it hasn't been confirmed if I'm having one or two). Tomorrow should be interesting since it's my nephew's 1st bday swim party. Now I get to be bloated in a bathing suit...and those same grandparents will be there. FX they bite their tongues.

Well that was the most awkward shower I've been to. The minute I stepped in the door, everyone was all "Mimosas are mandatory!!!". I had to whisper to the hostess that I didn't want to steal my friend's thunder, so could I please just have OJ?

Then we all sat and waited an hour for someone to show up. We didn't get to opening presents until 2 hours in, and myself and several people had to awkwardly excuse ourselves early because we had other places to be.

My mother's dog took my pill organizer out of my suitcase today and either ate or lost my prenatal vitamin ... I'm not looking forward to dog sitting this furry little thief
