Re: FTM Check-in Week of 8/7
Have a blood pressure appointment Friday. Blood pressure went crazy after delivery. Was on 3 different medications. I'm now down to 2 and hoping I can go down to just one.
Baby has been fussy and colicky and it's been rough on us.
Definitely an introvert! I'm such an introvert that it surprises people that I have a job where I have to be extroverted - I teach.
DH and I spent the weekend going stir crazy. I have been WFH for a few weeks now, but DH was all last week as well, so we have been running out of things to do, and this weekend was just a bunch of waiting. We went out on a date, walked everywhere, and just symptom spotted all weekend! I did start to have mild menstrual like cramps on Saturday, and they continued super erratically yesterday. Woke up this morning to a couple more signs (all TMI), and more cramps. Hoping this picks up through out the day!

my DH got two extra days off to be home with us before going back to work. We've never had this much time off together and I'm super thankful at how supportive work has been.
I had just done one of those Personality tests and here were my results:
PROTAGONIST PERSONALITY (ENFJ, -A/-T)
@littlebug2010 So close to the finish line!
@Kathryn0903 GL with your BP & getting off the rest of the meds.
@BlackNYellow I've been wondering about a PP support wrap. I've seen people mention getting them from the hospital after a c/s (but I've never been offered one after any of my c-sections). I'm planning to ask the doctor/nurse about it. Sorry, no real advice!
37+1
OB and MFM for a NST on Wednesday. I'm curious to see how my first internal check goes and where I'm at in terns of body prepping for labor. If there isn't any progress I'll be fine mentally, just really want to know what's going on down there!
Food.
I don't feel like my belly is that big when I look down... until I see myself... then I'm like "yeah, you look 9 months pregnant you crazy loon."
Extrovert with introverted and introspective tendencies. I'm outgoing, have no problems being the center of attention or stepping up in front of a crowd, and am fine with surprises popping up. But I do need my time alone to unwind and regain my energy. I don't get my energy from being in the middle of a crowd or being out the way a true extrovert does.

Clearly we like to rush along at lightning speed...
I'm also curious about this, I've heard great things about PP support bands so I'm starting to look into them. Someone I follow on IG (simplysadiejane) had an entire post about them that talked about which ones she tried and loved.
Rants/Raves?
Rant: I know the house still isn't ready, but I am ready to not be pregnant.
Rave: Still feeling good overall, minus the increase in heartburn. Nothing that Pepcid won't fix..
Nothing ATM
@Mango517 I'm stealing your answer, that is my personality to a T!
I'm definitely an extrovert but need downtime once in awhile to recharge.

Another extroverted introvert here. I enjoy public speaking and spending time with quality groups of people, but any "group" time wipes. me. out. and I can get really emotional easily if I don't honor that.
I'm obsessed with Myers Briggs, and I'm an INFJ:
The INFJ personality type is very rare, making up less than one percent of the population, but they nonetheless leave their mark on the world.
INFJs find it easy to make connections with others, and have a talent for warm, sensitive language, speaking in human terms, rather than with pure logic and fact. It makes sense that their friends and colleagues will come to think of them as quiet Extraverted types, but they would all do well to remember that INFJs need time alone to decompress and recharge, and to not become too alarmed when they suddenly withdraw. INFJs take great care of other’s feelings, and they expect the favor to be returned – sometimes that means giving them the space they need for a few days.

I am an introvert. (INTP. ETA You're not alone @SpotConlon). DH is an extrovert by the technical definition. Until he took the MB test in grad school, the concept of someone needing time to themselves to recharge was foreign to him, even though he's not Mr. Outgoing or anything. For the first 6 years we were dating, when I told him I wanted time to myself he thought he did something wrong. Then he realized that is actually a trait of the Introvert when they covered personality types in his organizational behavior class. I had no idea he thought that and didn't realize he hadn't gotten it before. I felt horrible
INTPs are pensive, analytical folks. Precise about their descriptions, INTPs will often correct others (or be sorely tempted to) if the shade of meaning is a bit off. While annoying to the less concise, this fine discrimination ability gives INTPs so inclined a natural advantage as, for example, grammarians and linguists. INTPs are relatively easy-going and amenable to almost anything until their principles are violated, about which they may become outspoken and inflexible. They prefer to return, however, to a reserved albeit benign ambiance, not wishing to make spectacles of themselves.

Rave: Mom bought me a cute/comfy nursing gown, so that's one less thing I need to buy for my hospital bag/post-partum.
ISFJ
The ISFJ personality type is quite unique, as many of their qualities defy the definition of their individual traits. Though possessing the Feeling (F) trait, ISFJs have excellent analytical abilities; though Introverted (I), they have well-developed people skills and robust social relationships; and though they are a Judging (J) type, ISFJs are often receptive to change and new ideas. As with so many things, people with the ISFJ personality type are more than the sum of their parts, and it is the way they use these strengths that defines who they are.
ISFJ personalities (especially Turbulent ones) are often meticulous to the point of perfectionism, and though they procrastinate, they can always be relied on to get the job done on time. ISFJs take their responsibilities personally, consistently going above and beyond, doing everything they can to exceed expectations and delight others, at work and at home.

I'm definitely an extrovert. My husband is sooo an introvert so I've had to learn that he needs his alone time to re-charge.That led to a lot of fights in the beginning because I always wanted to be around him and couldn't understand why he didn't feel the same. We have a good routine now!
