@elcd458@mrsorigami So glad I'm not alone! My SIL hugged/greeted me recently - she has 4 kids - and asked "How's mama?" and I also wanted to crawl out of my skin... But you will also never catch me calling myself a "mama bear" [cringe].
I was so excited to call my husband "my husband" though it was like trying on new clothes when we first got married. That little bubble of excitement and realization of Wow we're married! I guess I thought there would be a similar bubbly excitement calling him dad/daddy. My FIL still says stuff like "Mommy's making soup Sunday" to his 32yo son and I'm just like, "yeah, we're not doing that."
