It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

2. Share any part of your history you feel comfortable sharing. 2 missed miscarriages, both 10 weeks, both in October (2010 and 2016), one 5-year-old daughter born March 2012
3. How are you feeling today? Struggles? Successes? I feel huge and unhealthy
4. How is your SO handling everything? He's fine...I wish he would HELP ME get the nursery together rather than being distracted by his own home projects though.
5. GTKY: Have is the #1 baby gear item you really want for this baby? This time I'm going to get one of those cute pram-style carriages. I wanted one with DD but didn't get it. Also I want an armchair-style glider. With DD those were really only just getting started and so were super expensive and not as easy to find, but now they are much more accessible.

-August 2016 early loss 4+2
- September 2016 ectopic pregnancy 5-6weeks
3. How are you feeling today? Struggles? Successes?
Tired and really sore.
Struggles- I cannot sleep (mix of heat and crushing bone sensation).
Successes- we were in the hospital overnight on Saturday due to preterm labor and we had an excellent staff that helped treat it and get it manageable before sending me home.
4. How is your SO handling everything?
Better now. He was really on edge when we were in the hospital. We were both freaking out about having a nicu baby while taking care of our toddler at the same time.
5. GTKY: What is the #1 baby gear item you really want for this baby?
Mmm good question. We pretty much have everything from DD1 as far as gear goes but I have been looking into a sit and stand stroller.
@MKMandeville Oh no, sorry to hear about the pre-term labor. Glad you are home and hopefully all goes well for the rest of the pregnancy. Do they know what caused it?

2. Share any part of your history you feel comfortable sharing.
CP around 4.5 weeks in December 2016
3. How are you feeling today? Struggles? Successes?
Pretty good. My feet swelling has gone done a lot, which is nice. I got new shoes (crocs that almost look like normal ballet flats) and I think they are helping since they have more space. I have also been feeling kicks more often, which is a huge relief and lessens my anxiety. My mind still floats back to our little girl having the choroid plexus cyst, but we won't know anything else until 28 weeks, so just patiently waiting.
4. How is your SO handling everything?
Pretty good still. We have set up most things for the nursery and need to finalize things like child care. He has been pretty involved, so that is nice.
5. GTKY: Have is the #1 baby gear item you really want for this baby?
Nothing that really comes to mind other than the basics...but I kind of want one of those kangaroo style hoodies where the baby can sit in the front pouch (no messing with a carrier). But they are so dang pricey (like $60+). So I am holding out.
@dragonfly87-2 thank you! It was definitely scarier this time than it was with DD. With her it was at 30 weeks and this time at 25+5. All they could really pin point is that I have a very irritable uterus. After a cocktail of meds and pain reliever they stopped. I go back on the 14th to see my actual doctor and hopefully they can shed a little more light on the fact.

3. How are you feeling today? Struggles? Successes? My upper back hurts and both my chiro / massage therapist are out today. Don't have time for PT because of a daytime bachelorette party. I've been super emotional the last few days and can cry at the drop of a hat.
4. How is your SO handling everything?
He is getting me upset with wanting to paint the room and change the theme I've been working on. He's trying to cheap out with dressers and a monitor and not only did I not expect it, but it's frustrating. We did finally go to a bunch of stores to look at, but it feels rushed and I'm glad I've been doing my research and going out by myself before taking him so I can speed up the process. If you wanted to be involved, buddy, a few months ago would have been a good time and not when I'm 26 weeks in!
5. GTKY: Have is the #1 baby gear item you really want for this baby?
I want DH to get the crib from his mom's house and I really want to buy some nice dressers he can use until he's old enough to move out.

4 losses in 2016. MMC @9 weeks, 2 CPs and MC @ 6 weeks. Then went trough IVF with PGS testing that confirmed poor egg quality. We started with 32 eggs and ended with 4 healthy. Transferred 2 and have 1 on board
3. How are you feeling today? Struggles? Successes? Woke up to lots of kicks and my anxiety is getting better with viability day right around the corner. I've been pretty much the mind set of "there is nothing to complain about as long as he's growing" and I think it's helped me prepare for aches and pains. Still running which is my huge success
4. How is your SO handling everything? He struggled with worry all first trimester, but loves seeing me getting bigger. He has wanted kids his whole life and is great about being involved in prepping and signing up for classes
5. GTKY: Have is the #1 baby gear item you really want for this baby? A BOB jogging stroller. Before IF and IVF I was running 3-4 half marathons a year and can't wait for my new running buddy to arrive

3. How are you feeling today? Struggles? Successes? had my 24 week appt today and it went well which relieved some anxiety. I woke up at 2 this morning crying and feeling anxious about the appt. I also have not been sleeping well in general. But on a positive note looking forward to going home to Iowa next week to see family. And my friend will be giving me a bunch of baby clothes.
4. How is your SO handling everything? he is great. Even though he was pretty much asleep this morning he hugged me and rubbed my back until I calmed down. He is so supportive.
5. GTKY: Have is the #1 baby gear item you really want for this baby? I don't have one item I absolutely must have. I am excited to start organizing the stuff we have though.
23 weeks 2 days according to some sources and 23 weeks according to others.
2. Share any part of your history you feel comfortable sharing.
MC at 6 weeks 11/2015.
3. How are you feeling today? Struggles? Successes?
My 23 week appointment went well today. I have a tentative repeat c-section date of 11/27/2017. Earlier this week I had a dental emergency, that my dentist didn't see as much of an emergency. I'll be having the problem rectified in about 2 weeks. I decided to finally schedule my wisdom teeth removal for during my maternity leave, since I'll have time off from grad school and work. I may be a glutton for punishment, but I may as well recover from two procedures at once.
4. How is your SO handling everything?
He's doing swell.
5. GTKY: Have is the #1 baby gear item you really want for this baby?
I really wanted the Graco Modes travel system, and I purchased it last month, so everything is right in the world.
24 weeks today!
2. Share any part of your history you feel comfortable sharing.
Oct 2016 MC at 11 weeks. Baby stopped growing at 7 weeks.
3. How are you feeling today? Struggles? Successes?
I feel okay. My feet have been swelling quite a bit so I've been trying to keep them up as much as possible. That is hard for me because I'm not the type to just sit and relax. I need to be up doing things. My body is starting to ache more and more. Back pain is horrible, especially my upper back between my shoulder blades. However, I believe that's due to my boobs growing significantly during this pregnancy. I started at a 36DDD and none of my bras fit so I have no idea what size I am now. We started painting the nursery and will finish up this weekend! That's a success for me because I'm a huge procrastinator.
4. How is your SO handling everything?
He is still calm and cool. That's his personality though. He just goes with the flow.
5. GTKY: Have is the #1 baby gear item you really want for this baby?
I really want a double stroller but I'm hesitant. My son who is 2 refuses to be in a stroller most of the time so I'm not sure if investing in one is a good idea. Plus, I'm not sure if I want a tandem or side by side. I know I want a side by side when she is older but as as infant I'd like a tandem. Decisions decisions.
@missrekaeagle I hope both surgeries go well and that recovery is smooth. Going to be a busy leave for you!
@fishakris Most places you'd register have checklists that might help.
@angkay711 I'm glad your appointment went well. The anxiety is not fun.
@DungeonTrollMel you are always welcome here.
@dragonfly87-2 You have a lot of your nursery done. Good job!
@MKMandeville Everything still okay?
@Abby7 I feel the same with the nursery, except there are other things we need to get done around the house, too.

I hear you on the issues with DH having "opinions" on decor and ideas. I feel like I have spent months researching and being invested in a look...and then DH will say, "eh, I don't like it" or "can we find something else?" It makes me so mad that he won't put the time in ahead of time, but will blurt out his thoughts at the last minute. Men...
