So...i found out i was pregnant in April with my first baby. It was a shock to the system at first as the protection that i was using failed! Me and my boyfriend have been together for three and a half years now. Im due to begin uni in september and my baby is due on the 2nd of january. I have had alot of doubts from many people...some including my own family. If you want to make something work then it will. I believe that every baby is a blessing and everything happens for a reason! I love my little bump of love. I may only be turning 20 this december but that does not mean i am less capable than anyone else....good luck to everyone xxx
Hi everyone, I'm a FTM due Jan 27th. My DH and I moved to New York City just a year ago for new jobs so are excited to add another adventure to the mix!
So far so good thus far, I did get a very low reading on my PAPP-A but trying to take my doctors advice to not stress.
We are team green! I figure it's one of natures last great surprises. Plus I've never been one for the girls get pink/ boys get blue thing!
Hi, friends! FTM with an EDD Jan 11. Finding out the gender next month (August 18th)! SO and I think it's a boy, but excited either way. We're both pretty young (I have some college but am taking a gap year now and he's a college grad), but parents know and are supportive!
I got my BFP May 4th. My EDD is Jan 16th. We find out if LO is a boy or a girl around Aug 28th! I am a FTM. DH and I are still kind of shocked about it as we were not necessarily trying but the universe works in mysterious ways! Nonetheless, we are super excited!
I am 15 weeks pregnant with our #3! Due date is January 16th. It was quite the surprise as my son isn't quite 13 months. I have been active on TB previously in BMB boards as well as TTGP. I was on a private group here, but we jumped ship as we kind of outgrew the bump and needed a different kind of forum. Now that we are out of the 1st trimester and things seem to be moving well, I was ready to come make more friends and give and receive advice. I got my bfp on 6/2 as I was feeling off and H told me he thought I needed to take one. He was right. We are excited to have our final piece of our puzzle!

Hey everyone!! congrats all! So excited to be taking this journey with everyone! Love hearing all the different stories. I'm 34 from SoCal and expecting my second kiddo -- A GIRL!! I have a son who just turned 5. We're all so excited to be expanding to include our new addition to our family. My due date is actually 12/30 (18 weeks tomorrow) but I felt like I was so behind the Dec gals, I decided to join here Plus, my son was late, so who knows, baby girl might follow in my footsteps too (I am *always* running late lol). Looking forward to interacting and getting to know you all more!
Oh hey, I'm not weird for posting here and in Feb. The NT scan I got today showed that baby's measuring at 14+4, due Jan 27 not Feb 1! Now I feel legit lol. EDIT - my doc says due date will stay 2/1. I don't care, I'm staying on this board and Feb's
I'm Belinda, STM, our little girl is due January 3rd, we have a son who'll be 5 in December.
Been lurking Dec 17 and this board for a while (been hesitant to participate, not entirely sure why, possibly because there's not many other Europeans on the Bump?).
Hi @bellfine !! Ive got a son that just turned 5 too and expecting a daughter (either late Dec or early Jan!) Nice to see someone else in the same boat!
Hi there! Lizze here I'm currently just about 19 weeks pregnant and already have an awesome 6 year boy named Ollie. This little one I'm growing was a stroke of luck. My hubs and I decided there was a 3 week window we could conceive in that would fit our busy lives (He works evenings/nights and I'm currently working full time teaching and training to be a Montessori 3-6 teacher in a 3 summer long out of state & country program). We went of Nuvaring and conceived one week later after only one try (he was leaving on a business trip during my fertile window). It was insane and I'm terribly grateful! First trimester was a beast. I'm still 7lbs under my prepregnancy weight and battle with boughts of nausea with vomitting. Other than that, I feel pretty good! Looking forward to the day I actually begin to show....and definitely looking forward to my next ultrasound in two weeks! Boy or girl? Who knows? oh! Due date is January 2
Hi all! My name is MaryMichael and I am due January 4th. This is my fourth pregnancy, third child. My husband and I lost a baby last April to OI type II. So far nothing like that is evident with this pregnancy, but we won't know for sure until Monday. My two children are three and five. We also have an 11 year old from my husband's previous relationship. Full house, but wouldn't have it any other way!
As a side note - I will be a planned repeat c-section at least a full week before my due date. If I should move to December, let me know.
Looking foward to the next few months getting to know all of you.
Howdy everyone! I am a STM and I am due 2/3 but will go in for a repeat C on 1/26 so I will be a January momma! My son is 13 months and I should find out this week if we are having a boy or girl. Im also a dog mom to 4 pups. I work full time at a university and am in my second year of a doctoral program in higher ed. and my hubby is a veterinarian. I am 37 so we decided not to wait for the second baby since the first took 18 months of trying, so we were shocked (and so happy) it only took two this time. Looking forward to the board!
Hello All, I'm a FTM. We are due January 24th, right after my 30th birthday. So it is going to be a great gift. Happy to be joining the rest of the January mommies on here, and congrats to all.
Hi all, I'm a FTM at 34yo, expecting mo/di twins. BFP on 6/11/17. Technically my EDD is 2/17/18, but the latest they will let me go is 2/3, and I'll most likely deliver in Jan based on typical mo/di twin stats. I'm currently 13w3d, I know most of you are further along - I've been posting in the Feb 2018 board but we only have like 2 other twin moms there so I hope its ok if I join in on the weekly Moms of Multiples threads for some additional support. Thanks and congrats to all!
Hi @seltzerinstead! I'm expecting mo/di twins also. It's fine to post here. I'm "bimonthly" myself, and post here and in December. My technical due date is Jan 2, but they'll arrive in December (or maybe November, or even maybe October-- October is where they'll be viable).
There is a world of information about mo/di twins that I've leaned since getting pregnant. Do you do facebook? There's a huge mo/di twins page there, and a smaller group for mo/di pregnancy (for people currently pregnant). You can learn a lot about the risks and realities of this kind of pregnancy. And however scary the risks may seem, you can connect with people who have gone through it. I love seeing all the chubby little 1-year-olds who started out as the tiniest of preemies. For me, it helps normalize things, so if my babies arrive a little earlier and smaller than I'd like, I can have faith in their resilience. And a lot of us manage to carry to the 35-37 week zone, and the scary stuff doesn't happen at all (lots of babies skip the NICU, lots of vaginal births). And it's way cute to see the photos of all the identical twin toddlers and kids.
There are a few other mo/di moms in this group, too. Welcome!
Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
TTC with frozen donor sperm and science
7 IUIs, 7 BFNs. 2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs. Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire. Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus! fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP! Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)
Hello everyone! My name is Clodagh, I am a nurse originally from Dublin, Ireland but now living in Kent in the UK. This is my first little one with my partner, Tom. We are expecting a girl due 05 Jan, and I couldn't be more excited!
Thanks so much @KLake42 ! I've definitely read some scary stuff, but I know I just have to assume everything will be good, and if we end up in the NICU for a little bit, then ok. I am on Facebook and will definitely check out the groups there once I've told the rest of my friends and coworkers about the pregnancy. Thanks again!
Hello ladies.. I'm 26 yo and this my FTM (16 weeks 4 days). This is my second pregnancy after I got miscarriage on January when my fetus was 11 week because of anembryonic preg (blighted ovum). So it was so thrilling when the first time I see my baby moved actively on usg screen. Looking forward to getting know to y'all
Hello everyone! I literally keep forgetting to write this (pregnancy brain) but since we're almost 1/2 way done, its time!
I'm Kathryn, 32 from Charlotte, NC and a second time mom due 1/17. We are team green again this time. We have a DD that was born December 2015. I know a few mamas in this group from my first pregnancy and look forward to getting to know the rest of you as well!
Hello! I'm Savannah, 21, & this is my first. I've enjoyed reading this forum and seeing all the different pregnancy experiences. Sex is still TBD, but estimated due date is January 29th!
I do not remember my BFP, but found out two days after my missed period. My EDD is January 12th and this is the first child for my husband and I. I am currently 19 weeks and am feeling much better after over 3 months of all day sickness.
Hi all! I'm Allison, I'm from NYC, and I'm 19+5 today (EDD January 8th). I'm 31 and doing the single-mom-by-choice thing. After a bunch of unsuccessful IUIs my first round of IVF worked and here I am! I'm having a girl, which I'm really happy about.
Edited because I fixed the screen name problem I was asking about!
@aleedee Hi Allison! Welcome. I'm also in NYC and Single Mom by Choice - and having a baby girl (due 1/22) Excited to have another single mom on here, sounds like we should connect!
Hey all! My name is Kelsey, I'm a STM and I'm currently 18w6d.
I'm a SAHM to my 3 year old daughter and the caregiver for my husband who is medically discharged from the Army.
Baby is due January 17 which happens to be our anniversary. My daughter was born on her due date so we will see how this one goes! We find out gender in just 6 days and I couldn't be more anxious to find out!
Hi there! I'm also late to the party and my name is Katie (but if there's multiple Katies, then you can call me Kit). I'm a FTM and hubby and I are really excited for our first kid! We are both on the fence about which one we want (I want a girl and he wants a boy), but we'll be happy to have anything! Really, we're just glad that it's not multiples as twins run on both sides and his mom was a triplet. I am 17 weeks though and we find out the gender next week (baby is due January 30th). So, we'll know soon! Also I'm in Pensacola, FL.
This may be a silly question, but how do I change my user name?
