Hey ladies! There has been too many losses lately, and way too much drama. Let's take a from all the sadness, and have a little fun!
Post a picture or gif of your perfect vacation! It could be a location, activity, or even the food you would eat during your imaginary vacation (and of course you have no food aversions or MS to get in the way).
Lets all dream and relax with each other...
Re: Just for fun

This was from my honeymoon last August! I would love to go back to Hawaii, again and again. It was so peaceful and beautiful! And what I wouldn't give to smell the fresh air, especially now that my sense of smell has heightened! I bet it's more wonderful than before!

Ireland
This is specifically Cinque Terre (Italy) where I want to return - but basically Italy in general is my perfect vacation.
Pregnant with #2:
Back to where we honeymooned in Gran Canaria ((Canary Islands, Spain))
I want to spend two weeks exploring all over Italy
Santorini, Greece:
Ireland:
And back to the Isle of Skye... seriously one of our favorite places when we lived in England.
So the place I want to go kind of needs a back story bc most people (I mean all people, really) don't know or have even heard of it. So my mom and the majority of my family is from an island in the pacific called Yap. It's part of the Federated States of Micronesia. Everyone in my family besides me has been there and I want to go bc I haven't. But the tickets are insanely expensive. But here are pictures.
This is the islands
This is during Yap Day and they do traditional stick dances.
ETA because spelling.

Im pretty lucky to be living in Hawaii so I can soak up these views whenever I want!
@staciefacie we stayed with my husbands family friends that are in the air force! They won't be in Hawaii much longer either so I'm hoping we can get back out there before they leave
That other place looks absolutely wonderful! never heard of it but it's gorgeous!!

DH and I went to the Azores islands, in the middle of the Atlantic, for our honeymoon. We're both not people to go to the same place twice but we would LOVE to go back there. We visited 8 of the 9 islands and would love to see the one we didn't and spend more time on a few of the islands we didn't visit (Flores was amazing ans we only had 2 day so there).
We've had very little time just to ourselves in the last couple of years and are hoping for a more local getaway to Prince Edward Island for a couple nights at the end of the summer!
Hawaii is also on our bucket list so loving hearing about people's experiences there!
After that hat trip I knew there was no way I would be able to keep an older toddler entertained on an airplane... so now we camp spring-fall instead of taking a large vacation, but I'm eager to start traveling in 2-3 years!
@Staciefacie that place looks gorgeous and fascinating! I'm adding it to my list.
We used to travel a lot before we had DS. We don't usually revisit the same places, but I would love to go to Iceland again!
I studied abroad in Australia and I would love to go back with DH and our kids someday. I basically became obsessed with sea turtles while I was there and seeing "Crush" IRL was so exciting!
For somewhere neither of us have been, I would love to stay in an overwater bungalow in French Polynesia.
@Igutu28 I read a lot about Romania when I was in middle school. I can't remember what prompted me to do that lol. I really would love to visit the castles and the cities look amazing. I hate that we tear down historic buildings in the U.S. I'll never forget being in Amsterdam and finding out that people were still living in buildings from the 1300's. Mind blown. We also saw the Porta Nigra in Trier, Germany that was built around 200 AD. I love history and old buildings.
@Cowboycorgi my mom in law has been great with taking DS for short amount of times so dh and I can get away for 2-3 days @ a time...but we never feel it warrants a full blown trip to cool places because wed be taking off as soon as we land...SO it's usually just local trips...
I'd also love to go back to Japan and get up to Kyoto this time.
@ksmwalters That's awesome. Skye is definitely worth it. Although I "saw" the fairy pools, we didn't actually do the hike down because I had a Shih Tzu with short legs and an adversion to mud, and I didn't actually bring my Wellies. We went in October. My only caution about going in summer is that friends told us there are huge midges ((i.e., mosquitos)) in the Highlands and around the islands in summer. We also went to Scotland in April and it was a nice time to visit. But fall there has a special place in my heart. And once I've seen the Highlands, I now understand why there is such a big Scottish-American presence in the Appalachians, especially in NC and VA.
