    @mdfarmchick @babybluuLet's do it anyways!

I'm a TV junkie.  I love crime dramas and mockumentary.  We don't have cable, only Netflix/HBO/Amazon so I never watch anything current (except GoT).

    Currently Watching:
    GoT
The Office - US (for the millionth time)
Criminal Minds S12 - and it is weird now

DH and I are working through Shameless.  And I'm still working on How to Get Away With Murder and Scandal.  My TV time has really been cut down once DD started watching it when it was on.  I used to just turn on a show and to have something on but not really watch it, but can't do that anymore when DD is around.

  • Yay @becausescience!

I am watching The Crown and The Ranch on Netflix. I just finished watching Gilmore Girls a few months ago--for the first time. DH and I love NCIS, NCIS:LA, Bones and Hawaii Five-O but those have all been cut down since they aren't exactly age appropriate for DS right now.
  • Oh yeah. No cable here @babybluu & @becausescience

And yes. Moana. Disney Jr. Finding Dory.
  • @mdfarmchick @babybluu You guys are giving me a glimpse to my near future.

  • @becausescience - would it be bad to start a thread with just office gifs?

    @mdfarmchick - I just watched Gilmore girls too - now I'm a huge fan!

Other shows - GOT, parks and rec (Ron Swanson is MH), below deck Mediterranean, and don't make fun but I love me some Judge Judy and Peoples Court.
  • Love this is us! And shameless, greys anatomy, master chef, the walking dead, stranger things, friends (whenever my kids are awake and I want non-animated, not sweary tv) and just started getting into homeland.

oh and almost every non-creepy cartoon Netflix has to offer.

  • Oh how could I forget The Big Bang Theory??
  • Still patiently waiting for the new season of shameless to come out! We've been rewatching the office after just finishing parks and rec, and I'm watching orange is the new black and how to get away with murder when DH is not home! Scandal I will continue to watch when the new season comes out in the fall!
  • Right now I'm watching Mignight, Texas and waiting for American Horror Story and Last man on Earth to start up again. I've been falling asleep so early I haven't had much tv time that isn't Wallykazam or Mickey Mouse clubhouse.
  • Game of Thrones, Twin Peaks, Doctor Who, Chopped, Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown, Orphan Black, Bones. We're also in the Netflix/Amazon only club.
  • Team no cable here too. I love This is Us. I love Scandal and I'm a little bummed there's only 1 more season. If I want to watch something short, our go to shows are The Office or Catastrophe (on Amazon Prime - it's hilarious). I loved HIMYM. Next on my watchlist is Friends from College.

  • Game of Thrones, Twin Peaks, Doctor Who, Chopped, Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown, Orphan Black, Bones. We're also in the Netflix/Amazon only club.
I love Parts Unknown! I think Anthony Bourdain has one of the most fascinating jobs!
  • I'm currently into the new Jason Bateman show on Netflix called Ozark.  I also just finished Bloodline.  SO GOOD!

  • @alana0613 what's that own about?
  • I just started Call the Midwife on netflix...my husband thinks I'm crazy, lol.

Also, I'm happy we decided to just go with this thread because I'm always looking for suggestions!

@missydallas  I would totally be on board with an Office gifs thread. I might even try to figure out how to gif just to contribute!!!!

    He has my dream job.
  • @alana0613 what's that own about?
Which one?  In Ozark, Jason Bateman is a "regular family man" who does money laundering for the Mexican cartel and moves to the Ozark in Missouri. It's SOOO good.

Bloodline is about a super messed up family who does messed up things!

  • I've seen the advertisements for Ozark but couldn't figure out what it was about. Thanks for understanding my weird autocorrect from Ozark to own. Lol.
  • @mamaloba816 I just finished Friends From College. I really liked it! Ready for the next season!

I love all things Netflix and Bravo! Cannot wait for the new season of Vanderpump Rules!
  • So, I have never watched Sons of Anarchy before and I started it last week. DH made fun of me saying that I just wanted to see Jax shirtless.

Also, has anyone else watched the Angry Bird movie? My kids think it's hilarious and I'm sitting there like
to all the adult humor in the movie.

Ha, I just googled "when does season 2 of 'The Crown' come on?" about 20 minutes ago. I would like to look like Claire Foy when I grow up. :-p

(Also don't want to admit that I watched "Outlander" because it's ridiculous, but...)
  • @staciefacie SOA is the best! There will be scenes with Jax that you will rewind and watch 5 times because they are THAT good  ;) Plus it has an entertaining story line and enough crazy stuff to keep it interesting.

I watch Grey's Anatomy, the bachelor (NOT the bachelorette), This is Us, Teen Mom OG (Judge me), and a lot of HGTV. I just started House of Cards and even though it is more intense then my usual shows I think I'm gonna like it!
  • @tlcl13 teen mom og over here. No judgement!  I've been watching greys since it began and it has gone downhill but I'm still loyal. Love survivor too

Um LOVE Outlander!  I just reached both seasons, and am impatiently waiting for Season 3.  Have you read the books?

I also watch GoT, Doctor Who, The Crown, Stranger Things, and any ghost Hunter paranormal show, because it's my guilty pleasure.
  • My tastes are very eclectic- I like GoT (please no spoilers because we don't have HBO), OG for Greys Anatomy, This is Us, Law & Order, CSI, Food Network, etc. We have basic cable, but don't watch it very much right now since the new fall shows don't start until next month. I'm currently binge re-watching Greys.
  • @HappyMonkey817 I was so excited for the new Twin Peaks season. Started watching it and just couldn't do it. My husband has been watching it but to me it feels like David Lynch is messing with all of his loyal fans to see how much he can get them to endure. Lol
  • Grey's anatomy
    This Is Us
    Shameless
    Game of Thrones
Teen Mom is my guilty pleasure lol
    Nashville
Sons of Anarchy was one of my favorites
Any seasons of The Challenge on MTV
    Stranger Things
    Orange is the New Black

Nah, I think we're just seeing the real Lynch now. I think he was really limited in the original series, when the network probably had him reign things in considerably. The new one is definitely way, way, way out there, but I love it!
  • @HappyMonkey817 @itsmemario I was really into the original Twin Peaks and I'm scared to watch the new one because I don't like David Lynch's newer stuff as much as his old stuff and I feel like he kinda went off the rails a bit. Like I LOVED Lost Highway. I HATED Mulhullond Drive. Also it bugs me that not all the same actors from the original Twin Peaks came back. I'm just worried it will ruin the old one for me.
  • @HappyMonkey817 I'd say you're probably right about him being limited by the network the first time around. @vflux33 The new Twin Peaks, like happymonkey said, is really out there. I might could get into it if I had any patience. You need a looottt of patience.
  • @vaewelch yay! That makes me feel better about 'Outlander'. I have read the books up through the fourth/'Drums of Autumn', but after enjoying the first 2.5 books, was not a fan of the last developments and stopped there (don't want to spoil the books or trigger anyone, but the amount of a certain kind of violence was getting to me... like it was a plot device rather than an important trauma).

I seriously think the show is why I'm favoring the name 'Claire' presently.
  • @gh515. I know exactly what you are talking about.  The books are often problematic, but the show tends to fix some of those issues.  Excited for September though!
  • @gh515 DD is Claire and I love the Outlander series. But my love of the name came long before I started reading it.
