3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? It's a girl! And yes for sure showing. I actually had on a sundress this morning for work and my bump has made the dress just a bit too short for the office, so that was out. It's getting harder and harder to dress in the morning.

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? We are having a boy! I am starting to feel excited about that. I think I wanted a girl but never really said it outloud so I kind of privately grieved a bit after the ultrasound and now I can prepare for this new adventure.
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? Girl, yup
This is a hard one, but it would probably be a Christmas morning, at my house with tonnes of family. A big breakfast prepared the night before and served before opening presents all morning in front of a roaring fireplace while fresh snow falls outside. Then an afternoon spent outside playing in the snow, sledding or skating. Then return home to prepare and eat a big turkey dinner and an evening spent playing card or board games over Christmas beverages with tonnes of treats and desserts.
1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 22 weeks/coconut
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? Another girl! DD is a January baby, so I'm pretty excited that I don't have to buy any clothes because all the ones I have from her will fall into the same seasons. And I feel like I've gotten GIANT in the past 3/4 weeks! I don't think I was this big with my last pregnancy until after 7 months

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? Baby girl! I am showing, but not really enough for others to notice unless I wear super formfitting clothes.
Me: 29 DH: 31

TTC Since 8/2016
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? Nope, and I think so. It depends on the outfit and if I am wearing my support belt--it lifts things up so my bump seems more obvious
@peachy13 I haven't noticed more sunburn, but I haven't been in the sun that much lately. One other thing to check is how old is your suncreen?
@kvacmak sounds like a great day!
@andipandicWed121369 Totally normal to have ups and downs. I definitely had moments when pregnant with DD where I was anxious and unsure and even sad that it wouldn't be just DH and I anymore. It's a big change! Feel all the feelings and know you still love your baby and it is ok. With this one, it's mostly been guilt that DD is still so young and will never remember the time when it was just her and us. I think I've gotten over that, though.

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?
A girl! My friends can tell I'm showing... but acquaintances and strangers no.. They are always shocked at how far along I am because I'm "not showing"
4) Any appointments?
A/S scan. Baby girl looks great! Found out I have placenta previa. Going to see a specialist on Friday to find out more and get some more photos of baby's heart since she was all curled up. Put on pelvic rest for now.
5) Rave: Can't wait for my gender reveal party on Sunday!
6) Perfect Day?
This AZ girl would love a day at the beach. Complete with a whale or dolphin watching tour and sunset dinner on the water.
@soxgirl982 I feel you! I see a specialist about my placenta previa on Friday and find out more. Pelvic rest for now. Do you have any additional restrictions yet? The doctors were fairly surprised to see my have this as I don't match any of the usual risk factors. (I'm a FTM, in my 20's, no history of surgery's etc.). Trying not to be too worried about it at this point... but I guess I will learn more in a few days. Best wishes to you!
1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 22 weeks - a coconut
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?A boy and very much!
Turns out that the doctors date your pregnancy based on the first US. They in no way care when my last cycle was. That I guess officiates that I'm due Christmas Day. I'm high risk so really hoping they will take me early (assuming everything is safe for the baby).
Im 19 weeks, the size of a 6" sub (or at least the length of one).
still struggle with fatigue not sleeping great some nights which makes me super moody.
Last week I was craving Wendy's fries with their cheese sauce (not even that good, I know lol!). I am starting to get some hungry and I could just eat all the food.
My SI joint (lower back) is killing me and my headaches are kinda back.
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? Had my US yesterday. The tech is pretty sure, it's probably a boy. They baby's spine is facing out and their legs are closed but they got one shot that makes them think a boy. I go back in 2 weeks to confirm.
Definitely showing. I feel huge! Haha! I know, I still have a long way to go lol
Met my high risk OB last week. I really like him. AS was yesterday and this Friday I meet with a doula.
5) rants, raves and questions?
Rave - my housecleaners went above and beyond and organized my pantry for me! It was on my to do list as I'm purging the entire house. I refuse to call it "nesting" as I've wanted to do this for a long time but I have lots of downtime now to focus on organizing so I'm taking advantage and I'm so happy they took that off my list. They actually did a really good job there's only half of one shelf I might switch around. Yay!
Questions - has anyone used a doula, has anyone had a doula and needed a c-section?
Its my understanding that they really help with labour. So far, if things go as they have I can try a natural birth but due to previous injuries I may need a c-section. I'm not sure how I could best use their services in a c-section situation.
rant - I have an ear infection that I feel like I'm over.. but I'm not sure if I'm over it. I have new antibiotics that are safe for baby but the side effects, I could care less for.. and with my luck I'll get them. I'm not sure if my symptoms are "bad" enough to warrant a week of antibiotics.
Not sure if this is a true "rant". But we may be having a boy. Which is super exciting however, my sister in law is something else. Without going into a lot of details she hasn't spoken to me in about 2 years (she has a reputation for cold shouldering family members). We told her we were expecting and she shut down. 1. She found out late last year, she can't have more kids (health reasons)even though boyfriend has refused to have more for the past 3 years. But there was still that sense of loss understandably.
2. She was mad that her little sister found out before her - despite us driving 4 hours out of our way to tell her in person (we figured she'd be mad if we didn't).
So my rant now, When her and bf had their baby they really wanted a boy but ended up with a girl. I imagine the jealousy/disappointment/emotion will likely ensue when she finds out we're having a boy. i feel like I need a PR team to manage communications to her. Some people you just can't win.
At this moment, I don't even know. I guess just staying home. Not having anything to do. Getting more projects done.
Perfect day overall, likely being at an all inclusive resort and relaxing.
I did have a c-section (unplanned), but did not have a doula. I have heard they can be a good advocate for you, though, so if you have a specific birth plan/desires (like baby not getting a bath right away or skin to skin with your DH while you are being stitched up), they might be able to help that stuff happen. I don't think it is necessary to have one (obvs, since I didn't), but they may be able to help keep you calm or keep your DH calm if that is a concern (my DH hates blood and is a worrier, so I knew the surgery would be tough on him, though I think watching me be in pain with contractions was maybe worse?).

Thats exactly what I'm hoping the doula can do. I would like to go naturally but it will be nice to have someone there to help keep me comfortable until I possibly have to decide to have a c-section. I'll have to see what the doulas suggestion or if they have any experience with woman who have had pelvic injury before.
