Holy nesting - getting stuff done at work and home. Meals frozen, bag packed, house clean, new car set up - then I went a bit too far cleaning the big tub and wiped out haha. Ahhh so - the hospital card I have says no matter how minor to call. And in to the hospital we end up going for 4 hours of monitoring. At the end I get what I expected - all looks ok, baby is active BUT you're having more contractions than we expected. Apparently I could recognize the BH when they are low and make me stop moving but I didn't realize that the ones else where on my belly were too. I thought it was just Baby moving. They asked if I wanted a cervical check and I said no thanks, don't poke the bear. I need one more week please before he comes but they told me to start really paying attention and slow down. Hence the nesting - see what happens at the cervical check Thursday (39 weeks) - they told me to get prepared just incase - starting to show a baby who will be on time!

@jwatt5 how scary! So glad you and baby are okay! You are in full nesting mode! Just pay attention to your body, get some rest and stay hydrated! I totally get it, I decided that the baby couldn't come home to a dirty grill today and proceeded to overhaul it!
I've been wondering how many contractions that I'm having and I don't even realize are actual contractions rather than movement. My train of thought was unless they are uncomfortable enough for me to notice, I don't really pay too much attention to them!
I'm sure you guys will get a kick out of this but last evening I decided to make a labor inducing chocolate cake. Apparently chocolate has Phenylethylamine which is thought to have an effect on endorphins and oxytocin production. Clearly it didn't have the desired effect but it sure was delicious!
