@Cricket99 - mine is the opposite of yours. It's so freaking hot and our electric bill is probably going to be a billion dollars because we constantly have our air running. We've even had to start turning it on while we're at work (although not as low as if we were home) so our pets don't get overheated and also because if we don't have it on at all upstairs it will take hours to cool off at night and I have to be cold in order to sleep.
I'm also just grumpy and bitchy in general today. Not sleeping well is really starting to take its toll. I'm about to go grab a chicken tender sub from Publix and 20oz of sweet delicious caffeine of some sort.
@gusgus14 Same boat as you with the AC. We set ours during the day cool enough for animals and because if we didn't it would take longer than we had at night to cool off... also, I've taken to sleeping from 11-2 in the basement because it is cool and moving up to the bedroom at 2 lol.
My MBF is to my work because they are moving my office today (I think) at some point (I think) and telling me to put things in bins... but not giving me enough bins etc. I'm just confused. I wanted to show up and magically have everything moved to my fancy new office without having to lift a finger!
@EmilyLove25 when I was pregnant with DS we were told we were moving in August, then September, then November, then I had DS. I packed up all my stuff figuring they would have to move me before I came back from maternity leave. Nope. I came back in January and we moved in February. haha. Now my office is building a beautiful new building. We're on schedule to move this November. Sure we are. haha. I'm figuring I'll be packing to move before I go on leave in January and coming back to my current office when I'm back in May next year.
Sitting at the autoshop to get my oil changed and have my turn signal lights replaced. Only to find out my turn signal lights aren't the problem. Some socket has been fried and they might be able to fix them. I'm going crazy because people think I'm a total dick for not using my turn signal, but I AM. So I'm making them fix it. Watch... it's going to take all day and I haven't put dinner in the crockpot because this should have been a quick fix.
Today the weather is actually tolorable wooooo. However just got a call from OB and found out that i was very low on Vitamin B12 googled symptoms and all that and realised that i have probably had it fir a long time and bc i hate needles i never let them test my blood. So had to call regular dr. Office to make appt first time they hung up on me then
The unsolicited belly touching has started *eyeroll*. I'm not even showing yet! She can't even feel you other than maybe a residual of my discomfort over you being weird.
Oh, man! I feel you, @EmilyLove25! I had to pack my entire classroom in the Spring when I was pregnant with DD, and then unpack it in the Fall (also while STILL pregnant with DD). I had just taken over as the photo teacher after the previous one had retired. So, I had FORTY years worth of junk to clean out/pack up. Imagine all of the gear that a photo classroom/lab has. And the move was only temporary because they just moved us to interim housing for the year while they renovated our school. So, I had to pack/unpack my entire classroom two years in a row. It was AWFUL!
My MBF goes to DH today. We've been out of town for over a week, and DH let his beard grow in (there's nothing I love more than a man with scruff). I haven't seen him scruffy in years (he's a police officer, so he has to be clean shaven). Well, he shaved last night and left just a mustache behind (because for some reason, mustaches are allowed). What? Ew! He refuses to shave it and says it makes him look, "powerful." Nope. It just makes you look like a creep.
They recarpeted my office this weekend, so last week was a mad scramble to pack all of our stuff into crates. Now today it's a madhouse as we all try to unpack and find things that went missing. IT didn't have all the computers hooked back up this morning, and the systems furniture guys are still here (at 2pm) putting all the little fiddly trim and stuff back on. I have 2 whole crates that are files that the last three girls left behind, that I've never looked at but I'm afraid to just throw away but I really really don't want to go through.
Sigh doc just called saying my first blood draw for the Harmony test didn't have enough fetal something or other, so I need to go back. When I called asking about this to begin with, I asked the nurse if 11 weeks is too soon, but she said it wouldn't be a problem. Guess who's gotta go back. I'm coming up on 13 weeks this week so hopefully this time comes back with results!
Also over the weekend DH was like, let's go for a walk because rain cooled down the temp outside. I did not want to go, but know I need to exercise so begrudgingly went. 3/4 out we got caught in another torrential storm. That was a fun walk home. Last time I listen to him haha :-\
My 18 months old daughter had 3 great weeks of sleep, and now we're back to 5am wakeups and only one 30 min nap. Why??? And she's super happy and wild during the day, which is great, but exhausting! I hope this time there's a good reason, like a bunch of teeth are about to pop through, because I miss sleeping and getting things done during her nap.
MBF is for pregnancy brain. Thought our flights to visit family were Weds. No no, they are tomorrow! I now need to do all the things in one day and beg our dog boarder to please take our pup a day early.
@cyanope totally agree with the scruff is sexy! DH also works in a clean shaven environment, so I don't get to see him scruffy often. He does rock the pedo stache from time to time and it's horrifying. PS, I totally remember you having to clean out the 40 years of classroom junk on J16! I was slightly jealous of all the cool stuff you probably found and simultaneously not jealous at the amount of boring crap you had to sift through to find it.
Oh my lord, my stepsisters won't stop sending group text messages asking for money for flowers from the grandkids for our grandfather's funeral.
I have NEVER been to a funeral where the family buys flowers (essentially for themselves). And apparently us driving 10 hours and spending $400 on a hotel room isn't enough, because after my brother responded on behalf of himself and myself one of them "reminded" us that my SIL was welcome to contribute financially also. I just can't with the crazy today
Oh, SOOOO much cool stuff, @Cricket99! I currently have three old cameras sitting on my bookshelf, one of them being an old Polaroid from the 1960's. It's crazy how much stuff the old man held on to, but his trash is definitely my treasure! And there's so much more where that came from. But it was a freaking hassle. I withheld sex from him this morning, because I'm just over sex right now. I'm pregnant; I can do what I want. So in return, he's withholding things he does for me (cooking dinner and communicating). Ya'll he blocked me on his cell phone! Who the hell does that? When did I marry a 13 year old girl? I thought I was married to a grown man?! THEN he emails he! Hell no. I'm not playing these games.

@cyanope No! This is not usual behavior. I think he morphed from a 41 year old man to a teenage drama queen overnight! I can't even take his crap right now. He gets a kick out of it, but I am so not amused.
My MBF is the trip to the doctor this morning for my son. He's starting preschool two days a week on Monday and it was just a routine check-up to get a form signed. Well he freaks out and loses his mind at the doctor every time and this time was no different. Thankfully DH was there to help hold him down. Kid won't even stand against the wall to let them measure his height or stand on the scale. I hope he gets over that soon, because it's exhausting and it sucks being the one with the screaming out of their mind child
@fishee333 I feel you. I cannot even with my 18 mo olds sleep right now! He is getting a bunch of teeth, so I'm sure that's part of it, I also suspect the regression is thrown in there somewhere, but of course this all happens at the same time as me deciding I have to night wean. He is sucking for like an hour each wake up like a newborn and his teething latch is horrible so I'm just done. So you can imagine I was thrilled when I remembered that tomorrow he has his 18 month shots. That's just exactly what we need to add to the mix right now!

Ya at least we aren't night weaning too, that's not a good mix for good sleep We weaned in April right before I got pregnant, so I basically had like a week of having my body to myself hah. You just reminded me that we have our 18 mo shots next week! Ugh not looking forward to that.
@cyanope several years ago DH's job changed from allowing beards etc to mustaches, fu manchu's (sp?) and goatees only. I went to the gym and he had his beard, and when I came back he had a GD fu manchu. I was like you literally look like you should be asking small children if they want some candy as you drive down the street in a molester van. He refused to shave it until we were about to go to bed and then I was like NOPE I had to look at you all night like that your coworkers should get the pleasure tomorrow. He shaved it the next day when he got home from work thank God!

yeaaahhhhhh DH's sex drive hasnt slowed down at all. While I still make sure his "needs" are met other ways (and we still have sex just not nearly as often as before being pregnant). I am way more freaked out there is a baby in me than he is. I even tried freaking him out about it and it had no affect on him at all. ugghhhh

Yeah. Pretty sure our last romp was conception lol. In my defense, we have opposite schedules and rarely see each other lol. But no interest over here anyway.
You ladies are making me laugh. They last 2 times DH got some he woke me up. I have expressly told him Sunday and Monday night that he isn't aloud to wake me up! He gets all pouty about it.
