I had the City Mini GT for my daughter when she was younger - you can click on a few different brands of car seat, which is nice when they're smaller!
After she turned 1 I got the UppaBaby GLuxe (umbrella) stroller and it is my FAVE! So much easier to get in and out of the car, and easier to navigate in tight spaces.
For #2 I'm thinking the UppaBaby Vista is going to be our next stroller - can adapt to up to 3 (one on a glider board) so it will work for a long time as our family continues to grow!
You guys are making me want a double Bob - but I'm not a jogger, so I feel like a regular (less expensive) stroller would be fine. I may take your advice @LivingTheDream and babywear until I can switch to a double umbrella.
So... any double umbrella recommendations for walks taken mostly on sidewalks?

I have the BabyJogger City Elite in a single and double! With a new baby coming, I'm wondering..does anyone have experience with the double BabyJogger City Elite? I'm wondering if you can buy a car seat adaptor for a single side like you can with the single stroller. TIA!
I LOVE BOB SO MUCH. We have a lot of strollers, and BOB is hands down the favourite. If we just had one, it would be BOB. For those of you who like to run, BOB is fantastic.
Thank you for all of the comments on the double BOBs - later in my pregnancy I'll look for a double.
Love love love my single and double BOB revolution strollers. They are an all terrain vehicle. We can take it through grass, mud, etc... I use the double in the mornings during the school year to get my girls in the building with all belongings and it fits perfect through the doors. I wouldnt want any other stroller.
I have the Chicco Keyfit 30 Bravo. I love it. It's a really neutral color and it looks very nice. I'm not a big fan of bright colors (or gender specific colors) or wild patterns.
I think an infant car seat that snaps into your stroller is a MUST. I don't know how I would have survived the first several months if I had to take DS in and out of the car seat in the car. He slept so much while we were on the go and he stayed asleep so easily when we transferred the car seat to the stroller. It is seriously a life changer!! Now we have a convertible car seat, the Graco 4ever, and it advertises that it can be used from birth until they no longer need a booster... it was SO WORTH IT to spend the extra hundreds of dollars on the infant car seat first. I would have hated to start with a convertible seat!!
I didn't get a jogging stroller until DS was about 10-11 months. I got a used one off Facebook marketplace for $35 and it has served its purpose beautifully! It's old and scuffed up so I never take it out shopping or running errands, it's strictly only for running.
