I wanted to wait until the new thread was up to move over here!
We started the cycle using condoms, but have been NTNP since the first few days, so, I'm just calling it NTNP, not actually TTA. I'm not counting it as cycle 1, either, since we did use condoms.

    Month/Cycle: NTNP

    CD/DPO: 19

    WTO - WAYDTGKU: PNV, BBT

R/R: I'm going to have to switch to vaginal temping after this cycle, unless I O really late or just don't O this cycle and that's why I'm not getting CHs. I had a temp shift on CD 9/10, but it's only been up 0.2-0.3 degrees, so not a super huge shift.

    CS/Q: Not at the moment!

GTKY: How do you take your coffee/tea/non-alcoholic drink of choice? Coffee has 1.5 tbsp sugar and a decent splash of milk.

  • Month/Cycle: 4/3

    CD/DPO: 30/7

WTO - WAYDTGKU: PNVs, BBT, CM

    TWW - Timing: nothing

TWW - Testing: nope! Although with my none timing of course I'm still looking for signs. I think that makes me BSC level 10.

    R/R:

    CS/Q:

GTKY: How do you take your coffee/tea/non-alcoholic drink of choice?

I would PREFER my coffee with lots of sugar and no cream, but because I cry for my teeth when I do that I tend to have 1 sugar and a splash of cream. Tea I can have all sorts of ways: plain, 1 sugar (or honey), sugar (or honey) and milk. Depends on what/where I'm having it.

  • Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: CD 10

WTO - WAYDTGKU: BBT, PNV, & CM

    TWW - Timing: Still waiting

TWW - Testing: lolz not there yet

    R/R: I really hope I O this week :)

    CS/Q:

GTKY: How do you take your coffee/tea/non-alcoholic drink of choice? I don't drink coffee. Tea - if it's cold I like it really sweet. If it's hot I like it with sugar and milk, if I'm not feeling well I add honey too.

  • Good luck this month everyone!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: CD 4

WTO - WAYDTGKU: OPK, PNV, HIO

TWW - Timing: TBD but hopefully lots

    TWW - Testing: TBD

R/R: last cycle was really more NTNP than actual TTC, so I'm excited to get down to business but also nervous

CS/Q: I'm such a crap sleeper, especially in the wee hours of the morning that temping doesn't work well for me

GTKY: How do you take your coffee/tea/non-alcoholic drink of choice? Black, iced in the summer.

  • Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: CD20

WTO - WAYDTGKU: OPK, PNV, charting, pre-seed

    TWW - Timing: TBD

    TWW - Testing: TBD

R/R: Car buying... enough said. We're looking for a used van and I hate nothing more than buying cars!

CS/Q: Been trying to figure out if I O'ed yet, had a false start at CD12, but now we've got EWCM and a positive OPK this morning even more than the previous one, so fingers crossed this is it! Only bad news is, that if I've been O'ing this late for the past few cycles when I wasn't temping, that means I only have a 6-7 day luteal period, which is hopefully not the case.

GTKY: How do you take your coffee/tea/non-alcoholic drink of choice? In the summer - over ice, with whole milk and sugar :)

    Waiting for #3!

  • @izza2. Hooray for unprotected sex!  Good luck with the ovulation.

@glitzandglitter Your chart has such a nice curve to it!  Too bad that's not what we're looking for here.

@kindbytealikat. I'm kind of worried about secondary infertility, too.  It took us a year to get knocked up last time, and I have no real reason to think it was anything but poor luck, but still.  I wish one successful pregnancy guaranteed another, but it really doesn't.

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: CD 7

    WTO - WAYDTGKU: PNV, BBT

    TWW - Timing:

    TWW - Testing:

R/R: My prenatal vitamins melted or something in my purse, and now they taste super fishy.  I nearly threw up the last time I took them.  Also, my period or whatever it is has taken the form of gushes of blood followed by a couple of days of nothing.  Not cool.  I'm crossing my fingers that we're done with it for real this time.  Also, if I operate on the theory that this will be a regular length cycle with ovulation, the we should have sex tonight and tomorrow, but we're in a hotel with DS in the same room, so I'm not really comfortable going at it with him right there.

CS/Q:  I'm pretty sure there's not much to see yet, and the fluctuations are part of the IUD withdrawal.

GTKY: How do you take your coffee/tea/non-alcoholic drink of choice?

I like hot coffee with a generous splash of cream, cold coffee with cream and sugar, and hot tea with cream and/or honey, depending on the tea.  Ice tea unsweetened or mixed with lemonade.

@izza2 Yay!! So exciting to be ditching the condoms! If you post your chart I would be happy to give you my opinion on the temp shift. Can you remind me of your background? Did you temp when you were TTC before? Did you go on BC while you were TTA?

@JennyColada Sorry about your timing :( Was it because of the fake out O? Maybe you are looking for signs now to know if they are "fake" signs later - which actually makes you sane?

@glitzandglitter Yay for FW! I love FW!

@ChloandCoco That's my kind of challenge! Get it girl!

@kindbytealikat I will be keeping my FX for you for Wednesday :) Sorry the BFN last cycle messed with your head, but 2 months is still really early to be worrying. My SIL was a 1/1 with her first two and her third took 5 months - sometimes it just takes a little longer.

    @lbeach5885 Good luck this cycle!

@Guillerma Hopefully you will have a nice long LP and just happened to O later this month. I do like how much insight temping gives.

@Secretstapler Fishy prenatals  - ew! Sorry about your crazy gushes of blood. That sounds awful :( Do you have short cycles? Hopefully you figured out how to get some HIO sessions in ;)

    Month/Cycle: 7/8 :(

    CD/DPO: CD 8

WTO - WAYDTGKU: PNV, B6, some other supplements, CM, OPK, BBT, HIO, Praying, "Relaxing", anyone have old wives tales to try? At this point I might try anything...

    TWW - Timing:

    TWW - Testing:

R/R: So I got a recommendation for an OB in town that has experience with infertility and would start the testing. One of my BFs went to her for help getting pregnant with her 1st. The closest RE is 200 miles away, so before I get a referral there at 12 months I would like to do at least initial testing, or possibly "easy fixes" with an OB here. I keep telling myself I will call tomorrow to make an appointment and I keep getting busy (AKA - chickening out). I'm worried about the cost, I have NO idea what my insurance covers or even how to figure it out. I am worried they will find something wrong with either me or DH and I'm worried that they won't find anything wrong. And I keep thinking I will just give it one more cycle... but after 7 unsuccessful cycles I am starting to lose hope... Sorry for the DD post!

In other new, I think my period has finely stopped! Now we can start HIO EOD (or ED when the mood strikes - the more we do it the more we want to do it!). Yesterday our HIO session brought my spotting back... oops!

In non-TTC land: Last week at work was INSANE and this week is shaping up to be more of the same. There is no end in sight and it just keeps piling up!

CS/Q:  Nope, it's boring because I didn't temp during AF.

GTKY: How do you take your coffee/tea/non-alcoholic drink of choice?

On weekends I like my coffee with some rumchata! During the week (at work) I just drink black flavored coffee. If it's crappy coffee (hotel, diner, etc) I just take it with one cream. When I drink hot tea I just drink it plain.

@MrsMiller8588 I know it's early. I'm just an anxious/paranoid person by nature so I can't help but worry unfortunately :(...I wish I could. My logic is telling me it's early, you've only been off BCP for 3 months, Relax. But logic fails to make an impact. Thank YOu though :)

  • @MrsMiller8588 It turns out that I didn't bring enough vitamins on my trip.  I feel like I should feel guilty, but today is the last day, and I'm just relieved to not have to force myself to swallow another fishy pill.  I do tend to have 24 to 26 day cycles, or I did before pregnancy and the IUD.  I'm hoping they'll go back to that now that it's out, but it's too soon to tell.  There was nothing yesterday or today, so I think I'm done for now.  I think we'll wait until we're home to HIO, though.  I just looked at FF's prediction for ovulation again, and realized it predicted CD10.  But if it's like before, it'll be more like CD12, anyway.  So I have more time than I thought.  If it's not like before, then it's anybody's guess when I'll O.

And I know exactly how you feel about calling for the appointment.  I already hate things like talking on the phone, and when it also involves things that I feel like I should know, but am totally clueless about, like doctors and insurance, plus it sounds scary and invasive.  Plus, if they find something wrong, then there's something wrong, but if they don't, then there's nothing you can do to try to fix it.  I'm a big avoider about all that stuff.  But, as far as I know, there's nothing wrong with me or my husband, and it took us 12 months and 15 cycles to get pregnant last time.  I think (and hope) we were just unlucky with the probabilities.

In other news, my hotel last night had a little tray on the edge of the night stand that seemed specially designed for a BBT.  It was a really odd piece of furniture overall, though (Sorry if it's huge).

  • @MrsMiller8588 my bad timing was partly because of the O takeout, and I was just kind of mentally over it. Which totally isn't helpful for TTC. But I'm pretty indifferent to sex with MH (which sounds terrible...), so the idea of having to HIO EOD sounds terrible and SO not something I was interested in doing. :/ I guess we'll just see how next cycle shakes out. I've spent a lot of our marriage trying to basically beg MH for sex, so unless he brings it up I kinda just don't care anymore.

Well that answer ended up being a lot more whiny than expected.

@MrsMiller8588 - Sure! I temped in 2015 when we were TTC previously, and my average O date was CD 10 with a 13-14 day LP. I went on BC patches because I'd had a hard time remembering to take the pill in the past, and then when I had a negative reaction I was switched to BCPs.
ETA: My first cycle off of Nexplanon was long, and I got CHs with a 6? day LP, but I don't think I actually O'd that cycle. The cycles after that my temps were about 0.2-0.4 degrees above CL during my LP.
I'm inclined to think that if I O'd, it was on CD 9, considering my EWCM during that time, but FF doesn't seem to agree.

@Secretstapler FX you get good timing this cycle! You should be able to get good timing if you start HIO when you get home :) did you track last time you were TTC? I'm sorry it took that long for you, but honestly it does give me a little peace of mind so thank you for sharing!

@JennyColada I totally get where you are coming from! We have only been married a year and I've had my fair share of being turned down. But we have luckily had no problems while TTC and I think now that we are having sex more frequently we both want it more frequently ;)

@izza2 I can definitely see a temp shift at CD9. You're right it's not a huge shift but it is something! I wonder is FF is withholding crosshairs because you had fertile CM past the shift? I think the convention they use is it should dry up or switch to less fertile after O? Hopefully vaginal temping will help see a more clear shift (if this isn't your cycle).

  • @MrsMiller8588 - I'm so sorry :( I hate making appointments too. Make yourself a deadline, take a deep breath and do it. You will feel better when it is done and even if the results are not what you want to hear at least you will know and have some answers. Hugs!
  • @MrsMiller8588 I warned DH in the car home today that we needed to have sex tonight and the rest of the week.  He was good with that.  I'm trying to decide if we should shoot for every day or every other day.  Last time around, we finally got knocked up the first month we switched to every other day.  Plus, like a lot of the women here I guess, we haven't been getting busy very often lately (like, since the last time we were TTC) so the thought of every day sounds pretty overwhelming.  I do know that the more we do it, the more I enjoy it, though.

I did temp last time around, and was quite predictable.  I took a couple months off when I got discouraged at about 8 months in, then got new vitamins and started up again.

    *TW below*
After a year of trying (including one miscarriage at 4.5 weeks in my 4th cycle of TTC) I went to my doctor and said I was concerned. She was pretty confused about why.  I think it was because a) it had only been seven months since the miscarriage,  and b) I was a grad student, so I saw her in the university student health center, so that isn't really a typical student concern. But she gave me a referral to a specialist and suggested we try every other day instead of every day.  And then I got pregnant like 4 days later.  I shared this story not as one of those "See? All you have to do is give up trying to get it and it will come to you!" stories, but just as a reminder that sometimes it can take a long time for no reason.  Also, EOD is better?  I don't know.

@lifesabeach85, good luck this month! It's exciting!

@Guillerma, the positive OPKs seem like a good thing! I would HIO for a few more days and see what your temps do. WTO stinks sometimes... especially when you're not sure WTH your body is doing! How are your temps looking today?

@kindbytealikat, thinking positive thoughts for you this week!! (Hopefully today!!)

@kindbytealikat & @secretstapler, I was just reading about HIO ED vs. EOD and feel confused. Some say it doesn't matter unless low sperm count is an issue. Some say the sperm need time to build up. I've heard of doctors saying both (ED and EOD) during FW. Due to my husband's work schedule, I may try for morning one day and then night the next. Maybe it would give him enough time to build up sperm (40hrs)? IDK... I guess we'll see!

@JennyColada, I'm sorry about the poor timing. It's so frustrating! My husband and I had a talk about TTC. He knew I was temping and getting ready but I got frustrated with our timing. I originally (with DS and then the first month this time) just initiated sex more during my FW but I decided to actually show him my chart and how it works. I've had to say "My FW is this date through this date" and we plan accordingly. It's not really romantic but I figure if we both want a baby, we both have to know what's going on. Maybe letting YH know would help? Hugs either way! TTC makes us all a little crazy!

@mrsmiller8588, Hugs girl! I'm sure it's really hard to reach out for help here! I imagine it's a hard step to take! We're here if you need anything! I like the idea of setting a date/deadline. Let someone know (DH, friend, us :) ) then you know someone will be checking on you to see how it went. Maybe that would help? Since you asked about things people were doing to get KU, I'm changing a couple of things this month. It's probably BSC but it makes me feel like I'm "doing" something. I'm changing to a low carb/high protein diet. I was on it when I got pregnant with DS (just the way we ate, it wasn't for TTC purposes). I've been eating eggs, salmon, and chicken with a big salad for lunch and then spinach for dinner. I'm also trying to increase my activity. It might not do anything but I figure it can't hurt! :)
