@dukestar5 It was two story (I *think* there was a second story, I saw stairs at one point) but all the living quarters, kitchen, offices, etc were on the first floor with big doors leading out to where the trucks were parked. I found out one of the medics I know is stationed there (they were on a run but I asked what squad number was stationed there).
At my grocery story, the pom wonderful brand (bubbly looking bottle, in the produce section) has small 8 oz bottles which are actually cheaper per oz than buying the big bottles so I get those for work. Then there a Langers brand in the non refrigerated juice aisle that I keep in the fridge at home. I usually drink between 8-16 oz a day but I have no idea how much you're supposed to drink!

@andreaamadei625 Have fun with girl's day!

@jrm_14 I used it last night. Still had issues with syncing it this morning; had to unpair and reset to get it to sync. Then it gave me the exact same temperature as yesterday which I find highly suspect.

    Edited: Grammar is hard.

  • @fishsticks-n-custard it's funny you've looked into the amount you can gift. 11k seems low, hmm I might have to reevaluate some of my goals, not quite enough to help the rents retire...

@jrm_14 enjoy the time with your sis!

@dukestar5 right there with you on traveling everywhere! I want to go all the places!

@ChloandCoco Are you my secret non-evil twin? Depending on how big the lottery payoff is, I'd love one of those little colourful houses in Kits, or an apartment on Beach ave.

@stemgirl11 I know, it's pretty dire right? We started off with maybe 15%, and I was the only one who graduated. :(

@_darth That's just so sad :( I know some programmes that have less than 5% of women (a good friend of mine recently graduated from a programme like that). I've been trying to figure out why women in this field are so few and far between, but I'm still not sure. I get that maybe not all parents and teachers are supportive of girls going into STEM, but I have no personal experience on that. My dad's a retired engineer and he's always been super proud of me and told me that I should never think I'm any worse than the men.

  • @_darth DH and I lived in Kits for a few years before moving back to Alberta. I would love a house In Kits, but it would be a vacation property so an apartment would be enough.
  • @stemgirl11 @_darth right there with ya! My engineering class was about 25% female and that was the highest percentage that had ever gone through. It's going in the right direction!

@fishsticks-n-custard.  Boo.  Have you thought about temping a few days and using the bracelet? I wonder if it will follow the same graph but just be off for the actual tell? Does that make sense at all?  I hope it ends up working out for you.
    Where do you (&others)but ubiquinol?

@stemgirl11 @cards10 My industry (I am was a software engineer in embedded/photonics) is often outright hostile towards women. We are on the right track, carving a path for those to come, but it takes a heavy personal toll and for a lot of women there is no support network and no recourse so they end up leaving. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do when I finish my master's, but re-entering the industry outright is out of the question for my own well-being. Leaning towards research and community support, most likely.

  • @fishsticks-n-custard. Do you only drink Pom juice during the first half the cycle or during the entire cycle?

@BusinessWife. Yay! So glad to see you here. Was thinking about you the other day.  Glad sperm retrieval went well.  What is your next step?

    @stemgirl11. The hammock sounds lovely!
  • @BusinessWife That's fantastic news!!!

@jrm_14 That's a good idea. Maybe I'll try it tomorrow if I get a good 3-4 hr stretch.

@dukestar5 This is my first cycle drinking it! Probably the whole time though, mainly because it's tasty.

  • @purplg8r. Yay for a day at the pool! Have you gotten any running in lately? Training for any local runs?
also, we had the same thing happen with our garage this week.  :o I went out for a run at 5:30am and discovered the garage wide open.  Luckily, the lights were off all night and nothing seemed to be out of place.  Still a little disconcerting!

@dukestar5 I got in 22 miles between last Saturday & yesterday (I wanted to do the weekend's long run early so I didn't have to do it on vacation. ). I have several races that I'm contemplating but the next one I'm already registered for is a10k on September 24. How about you?
