• Month/cycle: 3/3 after a couple losses

    CD/DPO: 20/6

    Timing: -2,-1,O

    Typical LP Length: 14-15

Testing: not till atleast dpo 10... and hopefully holding off even longer

R/R: it's going to rain today and I'm all about a lazy day catching up on laundry and cleaning up this disaster of a house

    CS/Q: for the chart stalkers

GTKY: what's your favorite quote, lyric or poem? (Please share)

Of all time? No idea. But the first that comes to mind is a song lyric "nothing's ever lost that we can't find"

@hedgepig FX for you tomorrow!  How are you feeling?

@doxiemoxie212  Nooo!!!  That was probably one of the worst morning wake-ups. haha

@catlady1215  Lazy days are the best!

@jaylii --I am hoping your doggie gets better.  <3
  • Month/cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 29/13

    Timing: lots

    Typical LP Length: 10-13

Testing: negative yesterday, temp back down to my coverline today. It's our first month, and I really didn't expect to be that lucky, but I didn't anticipate just how much those negatives sting.

R/R: DH and I saw the new Planet of the Apes movie and it wasn't very good, which was disappointing because I liked the first two.

    CS/Q: None today

GTKY: it's from memory so the wording might be a little bit off.

A man said to the universe, "Sir, I exist!"

"I see" said the universe, "but the fact has not created in me a sense of obligation."

    Stephen Crane

  • @jaylii I'm sorry about everything it sounds like you've been going through with your dog, and that you're dealing with a full grown puppy now. Your quote is beautiful.

@hedgepig Congrats on finishing your classes, what do you study?

@catlady1215  Lazy days are the best! Sometimes I feel like rain is natures way of making me accomplish things I don't want to do.

@doxiemoxie212  Noooo! Unexpected animal mess is the worst. What about high-traffic areas says "pee/poo/barf here!" I feel like they also avoid easily cleanable surfaces? My house is half tile, and my cats have barfed on the tile ONCE.

  • Month/cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 31/13

    Timing: O-2, O

    Typical LP Length: unsure

Testing: BFN yesterday  I'm trying to wait a few more days so I can get out of my own head right now

R/R: no rants  Rave- going kayaking and enjoying our last full day at the campground

CS/Q: chart in spoiler  Idk what is going on with my temp

GTKY: what's your favorite quote, lyric or poem? (Please share) "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." - Eleanor Roosevelt

    And

“I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you're licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what. You rarely win, but sometimes you do.” Harper Lee- To Kill a Mockingbird

@jaylii good luck with your dog. I hope the meds work!

    @hedgepig safe travels!

@catlady1215 I love lazy days at home when it rains

    @doxiemoxie212 oh no!  Yuck!

    @paleoprincess big hugs. BFNs suck.

  • @mileswithmyles Thanks you, and I love your Elenor Roosevelt quote, I tell students something like that all the time - that might have to go up on the classroom wall!
  • @justkeepswimming8 not to contribute to symptom spotting but a temp drop like that could be implantation drop? But I've also seen that in non-PG charts so..... fingers crossed it's the former??
  • @Augusta108 your morning sounds so nice!

@justkeepswimming8 that seems really early for a drop. Could anything else have affected it? FX for it being an implantation dip!
  • @doxiemoxie212 and @mileswithmyles - implantation dip has definitely crossed my mind (especially since I've been feeling some pinching feelings since yesterday) but I'm trying not to get too excited about it lol. The only things I could think of is that I temped 30 min early, i woke up bundled up even though normally I am sweating when I wake up and I had a glass of wine at dinner. Also, it could just be a fluke temp from my thermometer. Only time will tell. It'll make waiting to test until at least Friday way harder now.

  • Month/cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 26/11

    Timing: -2,-1,O

    Typical LP Length: 14'ish

Testing: too nervous to think about it still

R/R: walked the pup, threw loads of laundry and going to enjoy the sunshine. Not feeling the greatest

CS/Q: Tried adding my chart and technology hates me today. Sigh

GTKY: what's your favorite quote, lyric or poem? (Please share)

My favourite while teaching "Fate whispers to the warrior....You cannot withstand the storm. The warrior whispers back....I am the storm"

And from my mom (not sure where is come from) "Not my monkeys, not my circus!"

  • @nitnat007 I think "Not my circus, not my monkeys" is a Polish proverb?  It's one of my favorite things to say!  :)

I am feeling okay about the BFN right now. I am glad I tested yesterday because I was getting anxious and at least I pulled off the band aid.

TW- I looked back at my charts from my miscarriage and my pregnancy with DS and I didn't get a BFP until 16 and 19 DPO, so I'm not counting myself out yet, but also trying to keep my expectations realistic.
  • Month/cycle: 6/4

    CD/DPO:  23/10

    Timing: good

    Typical LP Length: 14-15 days

Testing: no plans. If temp shoots back up, maybe, otherwise holding out for AF

R/R:  rave, I get another day of doing nothing while everyone does everything for me.  Rant, I am nauseated for some reason, trying to not think about it.

    CS/Q:

GTKY: what's your favorite quote, lyric or poem? (Please share)

Hmm, favorite poem is stopping by woods on a snowy evening, by Robert frost.

  • @nitnat007 Mileswithmyles is right, it's a polish proverb (and one I invoke a lot!)

@justkeepswimming8 my fingers are crossed for you! It's boarderline impossible not to analyze every little thing, so here's hoping this is your month.

@mileswithmyles it's good to hear that sometimes bfps don't happen until further into the TWW, I've seen so many people get them at like 9dpo, it's easy to get discouraged early on.

I'm trying not to be bummed about the temp drop, because this is still one of my longest lps, and I've been trying to lengthen them for almost a year. I just wish AF would come so I could stop hoping against hope.

I feel like it might take us a while - DH has been training for a mountain biking race for the last two months, and I understand that takes a toll on the swimmers. Hopefully he eases off next month!
  • @peppersmith22 don't let me dissuade you, it wasn't horrible, and there were some funny parts, but it was pretty brutal/violent, and a LOT of the movie was subtitled grunting, which was sort of visually weird.
  • @justkeepswimming8 well, DPO buddy, I just started having some light spotting, so now we can be implantation symptom spotters together lol lol

  • @doxiemoxie212

Fingers crossed for both of us!

  • @jaylii, good luck with your dog!
@doxiemoxie212, what s horrible start to the day!
@peppersmith22, my parents garden, and it is amazing. I am currently staying with them and it is awesome to walk in the yard and get dinner.

@Augusta108 You're lucky that you aren't working nights and weekends. Are you in a public service position or admin/something not working with customers? Every public library I know public service staff works nights and weekends. Where I work there's a staff rotation for weekends and we try to spread out the nights too so it's not too bad. The advantage of working nights and weekends is that I get the time somewhere else. Like I'm now off Sunday and Monday because I worked yesterday. Man I love running errands mid-day on a weekday! :)
  • @jaylii, I primarily do cataloging/processing. Our Technical Services department was a separate department dedicated to just behind the scenes work when I started, and everybody in the department had a regular M-F schedule. Thanks to budget cuts they combined us with another department a few years ago, and now I do work the Reference Desk and do other things like displays and readers' advisory...but they haven't made the original Technical Services staff switch to a nights and weekends schedule yet. Since the library is still understaffed, though, I think it's probably coming.

I have always thought the plus side of working weekends would be getting to run errands on weekdays!
