Re: **TGIF** What are you grateful for this week?
Thankful that DS has slept through the night all week this week.
Thankful DH went to bed early last night instead of pulling out his laptop. He's been working some really late nights lately, even after he comes home from the office. He needed the rest.
Thankful for DH who went out to get me ice cream late at night because I had to have it and we were out.
I'm grateful its a slow/quiet Friday in my office. I am doing baby registry research
I'm grateful for our community pool because I WILL BE THERE this weekend
I'm grateful my bosses aren't here cause my boobs have clearly grown since I wore this dress 2 wks ago and the buttons are leaving little holes in the middle causing exposure and I have to keep readjusting my dress...... oops.
@jakobaby Dogs are the best. They usually know just what we need.
@schaze That's awesome that DH went on an ice cream run for you! What flavor?
For me, I am so grateful that I live on the coast. Being on the water is my happy place and we have plans to go out with some friends tomorrow morning on their boat.
Also super grateful for sister in law, who is one of my BFFs (she and I were close friends before she met my brother). She is taking the lead on planning a baby shower for me and I am getting excited to think about having all my girlfriends together to celebrate with me in a few months.
Lastly, it's minor, but I really do LOVE Spotify for listening to music at work.

Also thankful my SIL offered to host my baby shower, which is SO FAR AWAY but since she's not local she wants to start thinking about it super early so we can visit possible locations when she visits in 2 weeks. So that'll be fun!
@clc515 Yay for awesome SILs! Hope you have fun scouting sites with her!

I'm so jealous you live on the coast! We used to live in Seattle when I was a kid and I miss being able to go to the beach whenever we wanted. We have a lake about an hour away but it's not the same as the Sound.
@Mudge85 I wore a shirt last weekend that fit me a week prior, and holy boobs! I was adjusting it all day and when we got home I put that sucker away until after baby.
I'm thankful to have the news out about the pregnancy!
@schaze Where did you go to the beach/sound? We're a couple hours from Seattle and I don't really know good places.
Also thankful that my LO is probably going to meet all of his/her grandparents (and even hopefully one set of loving great grandparents), because I never got to meet mine. It's hard not living by my parents or DH's, but just the fact that everyone is excited and currently healthy is not something that I'm taking for granted.
@gusgus14 yay! That is HUGE!
I'm also thankful for pay day! And that I'm allowed one caffeine drink a day, which I am about to deeply enjoy.
Edit to add: I'm SO thankful my new mattress is being delivered tomorrow! I can't believe I forgot to mention that! Here's to sleeping on a clean, supportive surface again!
Y’all I read these and made myself go to the gym when I wasn’t feeling it because it was all so uplifting and inspiring. So I’m DEFINITELY thankful for our little Bump club!
I’m also thankful for my great boss. I’m getting upgraded to a new office next week, three times bigger than mine now, with a huge window/great view, and a tv!
Thankful to have my parents alive, healthy, and two doors down.
Thankful DH is back in town and put DD to bed so I could take my dog on a long walk last night.
Also thankful for no alarm tomorrow!

This may sound SUPER cheesy, but I'm grateful for nature. I just spent four days in Yosemite, and I spent most of the time near tears seeing all of the beauty that it has to offer. Seriously. I go every year, and I'm still ALWAYS blown away by how gorgeous the Sierras (and especially Yosemite Valley) are.
- shout out to all the fresh berries
- gratitude to those who know how to use four-way-stops properly
- colleagues who flexible
- universal health care

@ollydolly YES to the fresh berries! I have been eating strawberries like nobody's business. YUM!
@CANTW82BMOM How awesome! I have heard great things about his programs.Congratulations on your success so far!
@cyanope It's my favorite thread too.
@EmilyLove25 I am excited for you to be so close to your parents! Sounds like y'all have a close relationship, so I am sure they're thrilled too!
@vjraab Cheers to helpful dads! Hopefully you have a few more days before the school year kicks off!
@auntieraindrop How was your new mattress over the weekend? Did it live up to your expectations? DH and I bought a pricey mattress 18 months ago and it is soooo worth it.
@maueraa07 I am so glad you had help when you needed it. Are you feeling better now? Hope the worst of it has passed!
@burnsmommy27 I fee like I won the husband lottery sometimes. He is my perfect match. So happy for you to have flexibility and support in deciding how you want to move forward after this baby!
@libbberty Zootopia is such a great movie! We don't even have kids yet, but I have watched it numerous times. Such a great message.
@bbeaman Yay for supportive and patient friends/family! Sometimes we just need help managing all the feels!
@GraceUponGrace09 Awesome job doing the single parent thing while DH was away. I am sure you feel exhausted, but you rocked it! Glad he was home to help on the weekend and hopefully let you catch up on a little rest!
@gusgus14 Great news about the daycare decision being made! Such a relief to have that out of the way! I have toured two and am on both their waiting lists. I am grateful because we would be happy to get a spot at either. They're both affordable, convenient and come with great recommendations!
@schaze, we will have to agree to disagree on chocolate/peanut butter as the best flavor of ice cream.... but I am glad you got to indulge in what you wanted! That's what matters!
I had a nice weekend, but they are never long enough. I guess it's ok that the days are passing pretty quickly though, since we have an appointment to check in on the babe Wednesday. I had a mini breakdown on Friday night - emotions all over the place and some PGAL anxiety crept in, but DH (as usual) was kind and understanding and supportive. Like @burnsmommy27 and so many others have mentioned - DH is pretty awesome lately. So thankful for him.
Happy Monday?.....!
