Oh man, I've had a few good ones. I'm a bit of a foodie.
One that comes to mind was at a restaurant downtown that doesn't exist anymore. They had a bison rib eye on special and the meal came on TWO plates, one for the sides and one for the steak itself. It was the most well cooked, juiciest, flavorful steak I've ever had. Which is good because the plate(s) cost $73! I didn't realize that when i ordered it! haha
@flowerpower5838 my ob said we'd do the test around the start of the third tri I think (so 27ish weeks?)
@kvacmak yay good luck today!!
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? We're having a girl, and yes totally showing. I feel like I look more than 4 1/2 months pregnant.

super tired, still. I have my good moments where I definitely feel more like myself and awake than I did a few months ago but I still burn out super quickly. I'm tired by the end of the day and exhausted by the end of the week
I can't walk more than 20 minutes at a time or my low back hurts.
I could cry at the drop of a hat. I spent Saturday morning in tears for almost no reason lol.
I seem to be very congested and my ear aches off and on for the last few weeks.. maybe not pregnancy related but my what to expect book suggests that congestion is a symptom for some.
I had cravings between weeks 6-9 I think. Tacos and fries supreme ( but no beef on the fries) from Taco Bell. I never gave in and I'm over that.
My aversion to protein seems to be subsiding as well. Yay.
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?
not til aug 3
yes. Everyone today was mentioning I've popped. But I'm sure it was just a little bump even a week ago. Definitely can't wear non-mat pants anymore.
no.
Im also kinda excited to be going to a high risk ob. The high risk ob's in my area won't let you go over due. According to my math I'm due Dec 21 but was measuring small on US 1 so they put my date at Dec. 25. Pretty sure, I hope OB won't make me be induced on Christmas Day. So, I'm hoping the ob gets the baby out one way or another on or by dec 21 and I can be home for the weekend to relax and wait for Xmas but everyone reassures me there will be no relaxing and that it never goes "as planned", which I get, but I think the high risk OB may give me a different advantage. So..
1. Don't rain on my parade. I've been post surgery before, I'd much rather be recovering at home. (Not saying I'm doomed for a c-section but whatever the recovery ends up being I want to be home).
2. I have a great support system. I don't anticipating needing to do much except care for the baby (i.e. No folding laundry, doing dishes, getting groceries) therefore it will be relaxing, maybe just in a different way. The baby can stay close to me and I don't have to run it up and down the stairs a million times. I can sit on the couch and rest.
im surprised nothing is coming quickly to mind. We had a good restaurant in town that I liked better than the keg but it's closed. I really like the steak and avocado sauce recipe I make. Lol.
I guess one of the best meals was with my now late boyfriend at this small Italian restaurant somewhere in Toronto. Good memories. Miss him and everything in that moment was perfect, we went there 2x while we dated.
