GTKY: What are you most unsure of about labor?

    How big is baby?     Watermelon / large bucket of chicken 

    Upcoming appointments this week?     This morning 

    Any new symptoms or changes?     So much cramping, back ache, pressure in the lower abdomen 
     
    Rants/Raves/Questions?

    GTKY: What are you most unsure of about labor?     I am most unsure of remembering to be patient and wait for him to drop before attempting to push. I pushed for 45-60 minutes because I was too impatient.

    To big.  There's no room for the both of us, someone needs to evacuate ASAP

    Upcoming appointments this week?
    Dr tomorrow, hoping for enough change that he can do a sweep but not expecting anything.  Came out of last week's appt far to disappointed to go in expecting anything this week.

    Any new symptoms or changes?
    Just more pelvic pressure and general discomfort.  
     
    Rants/Raves/Questions?
    Has anyone gone into labour on their own (or even had a sweep done) before loosing their MP?  

    GTKY: What are you most unsure of about labor? 
    I'm feeling pretty unsure that my body knows what to do.  I'm trying for a vbac so I basically have a week to go into labour on my own.  He will induce using only a foley bulb if I make it to 41 but I'm pretty nervous that I won't go into labour and end up a section again.  I'm really impatient and I think everyone telling me they thought I would go early (and being surrounded by friends that keep cutting in line and having their early babies before me) has played a toll.

    @MrsN092714 Happy due date!!!!!

    My appointment didn't go as planned. I'm still only a fingertip open so no sweep again. However, I have high bp so I'm at the hospital being monitored with a possible induction later today. The nurse doesn't think we'll be leaving so there's that.

    @alcrimmins sucks there was no cervical change, I think I'll be in the same boat.  Had your BP been normal up until now?  I was induced with my first at 39+5 for high BP but as soon as I was at the hospital for awhile it went back down.  However I was so done I was down with the induction!  Good luck today!  Ill be thinking of you!

    @MrsN092714 It has been fine until last week when it was slightly elevated. Today I was at 142/106. Starting the induction in a few!

    @alcrimmins I'm not!  Green turned blue July 27 at 321 am.  My water broke at home on the night of the 25th but I never went into labour on my own.  After 14 hours of pitocin and never progressing past 2cm we tossed in the towel and opted for a CS.  He is giant at 9lb6oz!  We are home and couldn't be more in love.  His big brother loves to give him kisses but hates when he cries.  We are adjusting to life as 4.  Thanks for checking in on me.

    Yay! Congratulations! I just read your announcement! I had a LEEP done as well 2 years ago and the scar tissue can really screw things up! Love the name! I'm so glad he's here! Also, omg he's huge!!!!  <3

    @alcrimmins My Dr said I'm only the second person he has seen in his career that hasn't been able to break through the scar tissue.  It was definitely a bummer as we were trying so hard for a vbac but I couldn't be happier with the outcome!  He really is a tank!  (And is head was measuring off the charts, so may be it was for the best! Hahaha)
