Re: WTO/TWW - July 16th

  • Month/Cycle: 3/3 (1/1 AL)

    CD: 4

WTO - WAYDTGKU: PNV, OPK, pressed, HIO, tracking CM

R/R: We are still waiting to see if DH is going to the Bahamas or not. If he does, I really hope it's the end of August so we get an extra cycle in case I don't get a BFP this cycle.

CS/Q: Nope, I don't temp because I wake up too often at night.

GTKY: What was your favorite childhood movie or tv show? I really liked the classic Disney princess movies, but my favorite was Beauty and the Beast.

    Month/Cycle:1/1

    CD/DPO: 3

WTO - WAYDTGKU: PNV and BBT

TWW - Timing: not there yet

TWW - Testing: I'm not there yet either but probably will start early. I have no chill when it comes to testing

R/R: Rant: I am so tired! I slept like crap! I have so much to do today but all I want to do is sleep :/ Rave: By the end of this week all assigments will be done and this semester will be over! I will be 2/3 of the way done - Woohoo!!

CS/Q: nah - my chart is boring right now. I only have 3 temps

GTKY: What was your favorite childhood movie or tv show? Hmmmm...I remember liking my little ponies, and Care Bears when I was really young. When I was in middle school I loved MTV

ETA: Wanted to add @chloandcoco - I really hope you get your BFP soon and DH's trip doesn't interfere

  • Oooo @dreamscapes_ I forgot about the Neverending Story that was a good one!
  • @glitzandglitter It's one of those movies that has a wonderful story, but didn't really age well. Watching it again as an adult, you're able to spot all the goofy green screen and the problems with the animatronics and stuff. Gmork in particular is painful to watch now!

  • @glitzandglitter - I've been sleeping horribly too! I hope tonight you get some rest and this week goes by quickly for you.
    @dreamscapes_ - Labyrinth was/is a classic!
  • @ChloandCoco Definitely! I hope you guys get that extra cycle and that you get your BFP!

@glitzandglitter Good luck with this month! :D I'm so glad your semester is nearly over! My sister loved the ponies, and I loved Care Bears. I actually have a giant Wish Bear in the living room that my mom found in a thrift store.

  • @JNCPro3130 - FX for you this week!!!
  • Month/Cycle: 2/2

CD/DPO: CD 16/ I'm think 1 DPO but no CHs yet

WTO - WAYDTGKU: BBT, CM, PNVs, HIO

R/R: I've had a mild sore throat for a week now, i'm sure it's just weather related since it's just in morning and evenings.

CS/Q: No questions just chart rant. My chart still doesn't look pretty because the 2yo never wakes me up at the same time. But I still note shifts. Also I don't drink enough water and my CM is in the constant state of watery. I don't seem to go dry and I've only gotten EW once in three months. If I don't have luck this month I'm going to have to set a 6AM alarm to temp every morning.

GTKY: What was your favorite childhood movie or tv show?

I had so many. I'm a TV junkie and always have been. Childhood was fragglerock, smurfs, flinstones, jetsons. preteen/teens I was a NICK junkie but my favorites were Don't Be afraid of the Dark, Hey Dude, Ahhhh Real Monsters, Rugrats, Doug, and Hey Arnold...I watch those now on Nick Splat....Movies was anything Disney favorites being Beauty and the Beast, Alladin, Littler Mermaid, Lion King and Mulan

Hey guys I hope it's okay if I join you here :)

@ChloandCoco If he ends up going to the Bahamas before you get KU would he be able to get testing when he got back to confirm no zika to start trying again sooner? FWIW - I did start trying before the 6 months after I was in Mexico, but I did a lot of research first and there had been no known cases in the area I was in. (It has now been longer than 6 months anyway so I am glad I didn't wait too long).

@glitzandglitter It's a horrible feeling when all you think about is going back to sleep from the moment you wake up!

@JNCPro3130 Do you have anything special planned for your last 2 weeks of summer vacation?

@kindbytealikat You may already know, but FF always waits until 3 days of high temps to give CHs so the soonest you will get them is 3 dpo. Sorry about the temping frustrations! It must be hard to temp with a LO waking you up. My CM hardly ever goes "dry" either.

    Month/Cycle: 7/7

    CD/DPO: 28/12

WTO - WAYDTGKU: Nothing this week....

    TWW - Timing: -3, -1, O

    TWW - Testing: nope

R/R: My body is so confusing! Temp drop yesterday, back up today, accompanied by "heavy spotting".  I'm calling it heavy spotting because it's definitely not flow yet but it's getting to be more than I would consider spotting so I don't know... I will probably call tomorrow CD1 which keeps my LP at 12 days which has been the usual.

I am out of town for work and didn't bring my thermometer or any vitamins so I am literally not doing anything related to TTC this week.

CS/Q: nope... it's in the link in my siggy if anyone likes to stalk though.

GTKY: What was your favorite childhood movie or tv show?

I liked all of the Disney movies but Aladdin was probably my favorite. Also Secret Garden and Rigoletto!

@MrsMiller8588 - I'm in Canada, and my OB made it sound like he would only get tested if he shows symptoms of the virus.

@ChloandCoco Oh that makes sense. I just didn't know if you could request a test if you were trying. Hopefully you will get your BFP before he goes and it won't be an issue ;)

    CD/DPO: 14/?? I think I O'ed on CD13 but waiting for CH

    WTO - WAYDTGKU:  PNV, Pre-seed, temping/ charting, OPK's

TWW - Timing: If O is confirmed as CD13, then O,-1,-3

    TWW - Testing:

R/R: I get to work from home for a couple days a week right now starting this week, which is a GREAT change of pace. I wasn't sure how it would work out, but my older two are independent enough that I was actually able to get some work done.

CS/Q: This is my first time using OPK's, and I'm a little confused by what's going on... I had what I believe was two positives on CD12 (line as dark as control line, but not darker) and it faded out by CD13, but then I had a temp drop on CD13. If CD13 was O day, shouldn't I still have had a + OPK on that day? Thoughts? Here's my chart if anyone has any input: https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/314865

GTKY: What was your favorite childhood movie or tv show? Probably the original My Little Pony :)

    Waiting for #3!

  • @Guillerma - It makes sense that you got a positive OPK on CD 12 and then ovulated on CD13. Quoted from FF, "When you are using ovulation prediction kits (or devices that measure luteinizing hormone), you can usually expect ovulation to occur the day after your first positive result. This is because (LH) luteinizing hormone, the hormone measured by OPKs and the hormone responsible for triggering the rupture of the ovarian sac, typically surges the day before ovulation."

It seems like for most people it stays positive through ovulation, though.. It also seemed odd that CM dried up and CP was post-O position again. I have previously just used BBT and CM/CP, and seems like the change in CM/CP usually occurred the day after. I guess we'll see what temps show. Appreciate the input

  • @ChloandCoco Good luck!  I'm crossing my fingers that he doesn't go.  Or, that you're already pregnant when he does!

@dreamscapes_ I love the Labyrinth!  The Neverending Story always freaked me out, though.

And... Here we go!  Now I'm all worried I'm going to do it wrong...

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: CD 1

WTO - WAYDTGKU: BBT, PNV, sex

    TWW - Timing: NA

    TWW - Testing: NA

R/R: IUD came out today!  It was uneventful, which was good.  She warned me that it may take 6 weeks for my cycle to regulate.  But I took my temp this morning, so I can see if it looks like I remember my cycles looking before.  I'm pretty sure today really would have been the start of my period with the IUD in.  I'm not sure what to think now.  If I bleed again tomorrow, it might be my period continuing, or it might be withdrawal bleeding from the IUD.

CS/Q: Just the one temp so far...  I was looking back at my charts from last time around, and I always had a pretty clear shift.  I'm really hoping that's true again now.  I just plotted it all in Excel before, but I just started using FF today.  I think I'll still use Excel, too.

GTKY: What was your favorite childhood movie or tv show?  Um... I'm going with Bruno the Kid.

  • @Secretstapler - Yay!! Congrats on getting your IUD out!
  • @Secretstapler Woohoo! That's a good feeling. When I had my second I had my IUD out and was pregnant before I had another period. Good luck to you!

  • I'm probably going to cave and test tomorrow but I need your advice. When I bought my tests, I got some Walmart cheap tests and First response tests. The FR tests are ones with the curved handle. It's a 3 pack and I already opened the box.  I've heard mixed reviews about them. I don't want to get my hopes up on a bad test. Have any of you used them?

@JNCPro3130 I have used those and they were accurate for me (never had evap lines or anything). *TW* my only positive was a CP, but I also got a positive on the Walmart cheap tests. FX for good results!

  • @JNCPro3130 I know there's a lot of discussion about good tests and bad tests but I hear there really isn't much difference. I tend to buy the cheapest ones, and they've always been accurate for me.  I'm not really the one to ask, though.  I can't stand getting negative tests, so I only test once my period is late.  At that point, I think all tests are pretty much the same.  It might make a difference if you're testing early.
  • @JNCPro3130- I haven't used them before but I wanted to say good luck!
  • @chloandcoco, Thank you! We'll see. It's still early but I have a poas problem!

@mrsmiller8588, I've never had a evap line or indent on a test before. These are kind of expensive so I hate to not use them. Sounds like I'm safe! Thank you!

  • @JNCPro3130 I'm sorry, but it could be too early.
  • It's okay. I'm going to try to wait until Saturday to test again. That would put me at 12 DPO. Surely if I were pregnant I would get a positive test by then, right?

  • @JNCPro3130 Probably too early! Are you charting to know for sure you're 9DPO? FWIW, I've always used the FRER tests (previous two times and this time) and they've always been accurate. They're an extremely sensitive test so my guess is they're not really showing false positives, but rather just so sensitive that they may pick up early pregnancies that would not otherwise have been picked up? Just my two cents, but who knows.

Stuck in box. So sorry! I didn't notice the dates and I'm a posting mess today. I'm sorry for the BFN. In my experience, the FRER was the best for an early result. 9 DPO is still early for a late implanter.

  • Honestly, I'm not sure when I ovulated. Originally FF put me at CD 12 which was 2 days early for me, but I stopped having as much CM. I had an episode of EWCM on CD 14 which is my typical O date but it wasn't much. If I take out the CM on day 14 it puts crosshairs at CD 12. I'm not sure if the amount of EWCM matters. I've attached my chart.

TL;DR: Could have O'd on CD 12 or CD 14 which means I'm either 7 or 9 DPO.
