Re: Saturday Ticker Change 7/8
1) 19 weeks, size of a mango or zucchini
2) Feeling really good, only complaint is continued low back that is becoming worse sciatic pain. I tried acupuncture for the first time yesterday and am seeing a chiropractor, so we'll see if any of that helps.
3) Yes he's a boy, and I'm showing a bit. Yesterday was the first time someone who knows me guessed I was pregnant based on my bump, so that was exciting! Maybe it's becoming a little more obvious and less just excess weight.
4) No, anatomy scan is next week
5) Not really! I'm really enjoying being pregnant right now, I can't believe it's almost halfway over, and life is good.
6) I live by SLC, Utah, and moved here almost 7 years ago to be near the mountains. It has not disappointed! My favorite thing is how close I live to amazing hiking, biking, climbing, skiing, etc. It's easy to get up in the mountains after work, and I think it's hard to find a decent sized city in such close proximity to that. I can't wait to take the little guy hiking with us!
I'm totally with you on the lower back pain and my tailbone hurts if I sit too long. I may need to look into physical therapy since the endometriosis is on my sciatic nerve. Maybe the pregnancy is now squishing it even more.
I totally missed our weekly threads (this and MOMs) because I was out of town. We went to DC for the holiday weekend to visit my brother and family and my other brother came up with his family too. My nieces and nephew kept me very busy. One thing I have add since I missed it last week is my SO is so great! He amazes me more every day. It was his idea to drive to DC with my parents (they're getting too old to drive alone) and visit my brother. I love my family so much and I just can't believe I was so lucky to find someone who loves my family too. He's also taking such good care of me (as usual, but more often now). We also had a wonderful date night the other night which we hadn't had in a while due to morning sickness. AND, let's just say that my libido is back in action LOL. It was so nice to see that everyone's SOs are making them happy! I love seeing love. Sorry for the long post, but I had to throw that in.
Pretty good, but still need nausea meds. I've switched to Zofran now. I forgot to take it one day and the nausea came right back and I threw up.
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?
We live near Detroit. As mentioned above, I love the variety of restaurants and I love walking along the Riverwalk where you can look across the river and see Windsor, Ontario Canada. There's a lake in our town so we love to take the boat out there.
Still vomiting every other day or so. I've also been very tired lately, but I have a 10 month old not sleeping well and he is keeping me awake.
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?
I like that there is a lot to do with children (i.e. Splash pads, pools, zoo, etc.). I grew up in a small town where there wasn't anything near by, so it's nice to have things in such proximity!
@boothbaby4 I hope you have a great appointment this week!
My stomach's been really messed up the last few weeks (no nausea, but other stuff...). I've been debating calling my GI, but I have an appointment with him in a couple of weeks, so I'd prefer to just wait until then.
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?
Good! I think I'm in the "honeymoon phase". Very few symptoms at the moment.
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?

-- It's a BOY! ---
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? Baby's a boy. It seems like I'm showing to the point where strangers have started noticing that I'm pregnant- it's a surreal experience!
@moonlady-2 I feel movements, but it seems so random and my SO can't feel it yet. I can't wait for him to be able to feel it. I love that he talks to them, kisses my belly and rubs it too. That's so cute to me.
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? 14 days to go!!!
Feeling good! I still get tired pretty quickly, but otherwise, I'm ok!
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?
And yes, I am fully showing. To my other twin moms - how are you guys not showing so much? I look fully pregnant - my doctor says I'm measuring at 20 weeks for a singleton pregnancy!
Last week I just had a quick check in with my OB and she did a fast US. I have those every 4 weeks. I have appointments with my maternal fetal medicine doctor every 2 weeks also. So I'm getting checked out allllllll the time. No complaints, though. I love seeing my littles
Not right now. I was away all weekend on just a disasterous camping trip and I couldn't wait to get home. Ugh. I got home yesterday at 9am and took a long shower and got in my jam jams and watched tv allll day. It was great. Just a few more days until we go to Maui, so I'm just hanging in there. So ready for a vacay!
I love literally everything about my city. I live in San Francisco, which has any kind of weather condition or activity you could possibly want within a few hours at most. Wine country, river kayaking, boating, nightlife, music festivals, food festivals, amazing cuisine. We've got it all! And it's freaking gorgeous everywhere you look.
Pretty crummy- my wife and I both got sick Thursday last week with some kind of nasty stomach virus. I took off work Friday, and back today, but my stomach is still tender, and I don't have much of an appetite. I'm trying to make sure to stay hydrated at least.

I think it depends what I'm wearing still. I certainly notice it, since I usually don't carry much weight on my belly. i love the stretchy maternity pants, and also comfy dresses.
I love how walkeable Baltimore is. We are just a few blocks away from our year-round Saturday morning farmer's market, and there's a newish brewery also a few blocks away with a game room and kids play area. Friday afternoons have become a de facto parents with young kids happy hour!
Due date 12/9
I can't figure out the pregnancy countdown tickers, but I do know how to make a signature!
