Hello! I've been lurking for some time but was waiting to introduce myself and begin participating when we announced to most of our friends and family that we are expecting! That time is now! So hi there, I'm Leah! I'm 28 years old and will be a STM. I got my BFP May 4 with an EDD of January 11 (currently 10w6d)! I am a SAHM to DS who will be 2 in September. We live in a teeny tiny country town in Southern VA and love our simple way of life!
Hi! I'm a STM-to be! My due date is January 24th and I am 9w1d
My DS was born Feb 2016 and the moms group I was part of when I was pregnant with him is still close and talks daily! I can't wait to meet some more lovely ladies in this group!
Married Nov 2013 Me: 27 DH: 33 B-Day DS: 02/17/2016 EDD #2: 01/24/2018 Furbaby - Lab mix rescue
Hey everyone! I'm new to January 2018, but not to the bump! This will be my third pregnancy. My DS is nearing 20 months. I found out last August I was pregnant with our 2nd. Unfortunately we lost it at 10 weeks and I swore I wouldn't go through that again. My husband and I planned a trip to Colorado Springs to see family, and I was feeling a little queasy. I have digestive issues so I chalked it up to that, but the feeling felt vaguely familiar. We hit the CO state sign and I have never been so sick in my life. I actually had to stop on the side of the road and use a porter potty... worst day of my life. We again chalked it up to my digestive issues and altitude sickness because I was sick the entire week we were there. I basically lived off of crackers and sprite. Got home and I still felt off and went to the store to pick up a few groceries... passed a display of pregnancy tests... and it clicked lol I rushed home and took one while talking to my sister on the phone. To my complete surprise it read positive! We've been on this new adventure ever since! I have no idea when I conceived (hypothyroidism screws everything up) but our ultrasound dates us at 12 weeks today! I'm so excited and hopeful that we get through the next 6 months without a glitch! EDD is January 4th!
My name is Jaclyn and I am hopping over here from February 2018. My SO and I went to our confirmation appointment yesterday assuming I was 7w6d and turns out I'm 12w3d with an EDD of 01/01/2018!
We were shocked to say the least, but so pumped and watching the baby move as much as he/she did was amazing.
We live in Maryland and I'm a FTM! So happy to spend these months with you all!
I'm Rachel, 11w pregnant (EDD Jan 12) with baby number 2. I've got a 16 month old Daughter and I mostly stay at home due to husband's busy work schedule, but I work casual as a Pediatric nurse on Vancouver Island in BC Canada. I don't participate much on forums but I read a lot of the posts and feel party of a community on these boards.
Hi y'all! I've been anxiously waiting to finally post in here! I'm Julia from Texas and I'm 10 weeks with an EDD of January 13th for baby #2. My son is 5 years old and starting kindergarten in the fall which he's super excited about! Right now I work for a logistics company on the warehousing side in customer service and thinking about becoming a SAHM when baby is born.
Hello, I've been reading some of the posts already but waited until I made it out of the first trimester before introducing myself. This is our third pregnancy this past year and the first to make it out of the first trimester so I'm starting to get excited and less nervous. I'm a FTM with an EDD of 1/1/2018 (13 weeks this week). I live in the DFW metroplex in Texas.
@jaclyn0405 how exciting! I think it'll be a fun due date to see which year the baby falls in! Also, if it is a NYE baby it'll always have something fun to do on his/her birthday. Congratulations to you and your SO!
I'm from Florida and am expecting my 3rd on 1/15/18! Oldest son is 4.5, Now middle son is 1.5. I'm so excited to find out what we're having next and to be expecting during winter! Both of my other kids were September babies. Everything tells me i'll be a mother to 3 boys Took the panorama Monday!
My name is Harmony. I'm 23 years old I got my BFP on May 22nd. My EDD is January 25th and I'm expecting twins! This is my second pregnancy and my first daughter will be five in September. I'm so excited. Congrats to all the ladies here!
Hi all! I am making a late intro. I have a history of loss and this time around I didn't feel safe posting until I entered the second tri. I am happy to be here! I have two daughters, ages 4.5 and 2.5. Before the birth of my eldest, I had two miscarriages. After the birth of my youngest, I got pregnant with twins when she was 20 months old. Unfortunately, I lost both babies at 12 weeks. I got pregnant again three months later, and lost that baby at 10 weeks. I am now pregnant with a baby BOY and due January 2nd. All genetic testing came back low risk and I am elated. Looking forward to hearing your stories.
4 losses- MC in 2006, MMC in February 2012 at 12 weeks and MMC (twins) August 2016 at 12 weeks. Pregnant again- 11/7/16. Another loss on December 28, 2016.
BFP April 23, 2017. Our triple rainbow baby! EDD: January 2, 2018. It's a boy!
Hey everyone! I'm a FTM and just joining the group because I thought my due date was 2/2/18 but they are now saying 1/30. Being right there on the border of January/February, I still don't know which board I belong on! This baby will come whenever it's ready anyway! I am 10 weeks 2 days today! We found out on 5/25.
I hope you don't mind me joining here. I am technically due 2/3 so I have been on the February board. I have a 2 year old son who was born 2 weeks early. I will also have special monitoring because I have a positive antibody for Lupus. There is just something telling me that I will be a January mama. I have been lurking and wanted to comment but thought I should intro first. This board looks so supportive to everyone!
Hi - I just joined the group. I will be a STM. This is an unexpected pregnancy as I was on the pill and we didn't want to have another one! EDD is 1/25/18.
Hi everyone! I've been reading here for a few days now, but didn't feel like introducing yet. My name is Kathrin and I am now 12 weeks PG (due date : 1/19/18) and will be a STM. DS is almost 4 years old now :-)
I was pregnant earlier this year/late last year, but lost the baby. LO stopped growing and I started bleeding on 2/13/17. I would now be 32 weeks. I am still not feeling really safe in this pregnancy after what happened, but I decided to have some company in this would be good.
So far, this pregnancy is so different from the last two. I've been nauseous and have been dealing with "morning" sickness, which I've never experienced before.
We're in MD in the DC area, btw. I just moved here a year ago.
Hi everyone!! I am a STM, DS is 2 and I have a 13 year old stepdaughter. I moved over from the February 2018 community. I went to the my first appointment today and found out we are expecting twins!! So I'm a twin having twins and still in shock. My due date is Feb 7, but c-section will be scheduled for mid January. I look forward to getting to know you all!

My fiancée has a 12yr DD whom i love and adore and i have a 8yr DS so baby blends our family
I've been lurking for a while, but figured I'd say hi! When I first got my BFP I thought I'd be due around Jan 24, but my dating ultrasound has me slated for 1-Feb. Buuut my doc also made a side comment about because I'm a small person, we'll see if I even make it that far, so I hope it's okay that I hang out both in Jan and Feb! I'm a FTM, 36 years old, and nervous and excited all at once
Hello all! I have been lurking for a long time, so first thanks to everyone for providing lots of information to a FTM! I was hesitant to introduce myself because I was anxious coming out of fertility treatment (PCOS, Follistem, IUI). We are extremely excited to expect a girl on January 11th!
I am a long time knitter, my gramma taught me when I was ten, I am really excited to make all the baby booties and sweaters for LO. I already have three blankets planned like a nerd. If anyone else out there is a knitter and wants to talk about patterns for newborns I would love to chat!
Not a nerd at all! I am a knitter too and would not let myself look at things until we got the all clear from the NIPT and NT testing. What have you found that is just adorable? Are you on Ravelry?
@YarnistaBride Hi! Welcome! I crochet, so I'm constantly searching for new patterns to try. I found one for this LO called the Flying Geese Blanket that I'm going to give a shot. Hoping it works out, but I have to wait until October to start it, which makes me nervous that I won't finish it before the little bean gets here.
@Cricket99 i crotchet to and i love using cross stitch patterns as a layout for a blanket. I have dont it with 2 blankets over 4 ft. One was for my daighter and i did Eiffel towers for the a's in her name. And huge basket ball for her sister
@bbeaman Why yes I am on Ravelry! I am cellison over there. I found some cute blankets and posted them in the crafty thread. I am on the hunt for some baby sweaters that might be easyish to put on and take off.
@Cricket99 I love the flying geese blanket, it is so sweet. It might be the perfect thing to do with all of the half skeins I have from the current blanket I am working on.
