    Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? First Ultrasound on 7/21!!

    Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? Yes - thanks to PGS genetic testing :) It's (or they) are boys! Feel like I'm about 6-months pregnant, but it's all bloat (I think).

    Rants/Raves? Pregnancy fatigue makes work suck. All. the. time.

    Questions for FTM, STM+? How did you even start with figuring out what you need?

    GTKY: What is the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? A live minnow (in a shot) - not terrible.

    @missydallas I'm wavering back and forth between sheer panic about getting the things I need and not wanting to get anything too early in case this doesn't progress (haven't had an u/s yet). I did buy the Mayo Clinic guide to a healthy pregnancy and I'm starting off reading that (and hoping it tells me the other things I'll need), but really, I don't know what the hell I'm doing.  :#

    Any appointments this week/last? How did it go? Nope! Waiting until 7/26

    Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? No and no (unless bloat counts)

    Rants/Raves? Just trying really hard to learn. I purposely avoided so much info because I didn't want to "jinx" myself with the IF. I'm 34, which feels a bit on the older side for a FTM, but I'm making peace with that now that I'm actually KU. Still just really glad to be here and hoping to stay.

    GTKY: What is the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? We went to Spain in 2009 and when we were in the Basque we went to tapas a lot and there was one tapa they had everywhere there that was a bunch of baby eels on a piece of toast. I thought I would hate it but I loved it and we can't find it here!

    Any appointments this week/last? How did it go?  Betas drawn today and planned for Thursday after first ri loss in May

    Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?  Team Green and Nope

    Rants/Raves? Feeling a little old as a FTM at 31 - scared that this pregnancy won't progress either.  

    GTKY: What is the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? Probably raw eel (Amazing sushi place in China, July 2008)

    @missydallas My first pregnancy, I waited until the middle of my second trimester to start buying stuff and make my registry public. I think around the start of the second trimester, someone started a baby items thread on my previous BMB, and I started getting ideas from that. I will say that I way overbought pre-baby, but then when the baby got here, there were so many things I realized I needed. Amazon Prime and BabiesRUs became my best friend. Just because I wanted my baby to sleep in a beautiful wicker PB bassinet didn't mean she wanted to...ha-ha.

    The best advice I can give is look at it this way - babies in the so called "4th trimester" are like potatoes. They eat a lot, they sleep, they cry, and pee/poop. Rinse and repeat. So where do you want the baby to sleep? Where will you be changing the baby? What kind of diapering do you want to do? How will you be feeding - breastfeeding (pump, boppy, milk storage bags)? Bottles (lots of bottles and formula)? How will you transport baby (stroller, car seat, etc)? What will your baby wear? Trust me, with all the blow outs and spit up and drool, they will only wear onesies. And then past that all my baby did for entertainment was either suck the life out of my nipples stare at her Tomy Peacock or lay on her activity mat. The rest can come as your baby grows (seats, interactive toys, high chair, etc).

    Any appointments this week/last? How did it go?This week I got my HCG drawn again it is rising nicely. Have to back again on Monday! Hoping they are above 3,000 so I can stop going. Having bloodwork is making me stress. 

    Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? Nope and nope (unless you count bloat haha). We plan to find out the sex. 

    Rants/Raves?My husbands aunt told someone who happens to work at my former employer I was preggo so when I saw my old boss today she asked me if it was true. It is way too early to have ppl other than family and close friends know!!! I don't mind my old boss knowing really but now I have no idea how many other ppl whose names I barely remember know this personal info about me. 

    Questions for FTM, STM+? Not yet, but don't ya'll worry I will be coming up with some

    GTKY: What is the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? Raw beef in Punta Cana. It has a weird name like capricio or something. I liked it until I found out what it was! 

    @missydallas Wow I can't believe you got to find out so early, how exciting! 
    @vflux33 I feel you on trying to learn girl but it seems like we are in a good group of ladies who will help us along! 
    @kris10_243 When do you find out your betas? I know it's nerve wracking! 
    @missnc77 Thank you for advice! I have to say what your baby did for entertainment literally made me laugh out loud. I'm also googling what a Tomy Peacock is.
