PGAL check in 7/5

Re: PGAL check in 7/5

  • @hullabalou Yes but then of course I was up with the storms last night and then had to pee again.  :| I'm hoping the timing was ok, I usually don't wake up to go to the bathroom until 2:30 am.

@chasingroygbiv I think that an hour is perfectly fine for peeing. Just let it flow and not try to hurry it along (creating pushing). I would try to hold off on pooping for a bit because the pushing can affect the vagina also (which is why you often see more CM after a BM). A lot of times, I'll end up drinking kind of a lot right before bed with taking vitamins and my acupuncturist tea and stuff so I'll put it in, get in bed, read for a bit and then have to pee again before going to sleep. It seems fine. Your vagina does a pretty good job keeping it in.

Sorry about the bolding problems. I'm on mobile and it was fighting me so I gave up.
    How far along are you?
    5+2

    Any appointments coming up?
Ultrasound on the 25th. It's soooooo far awaaaayyy.

How are you doing? (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here)
Ah, okay. H has taken to telling me he loves us and asking how we're doing and telling me specifically that he loves Nugget.
:'(  I just hope he's not going to get his heart broken again. Also, I'm on the same trip I was last year (different location and a week or so earlier in the month) at pretty much the same amount pregnant I was then. It was also approximately when Kit stopped growing. So, it's kind of weird right now.

GTKY: What is your favorite leisure activity?

Let's be honest, best day is going for a hike or kayaking or something then sitting outside in the sunshine eating and drinking with friends/family. Preferably by water.

  • @kiki75 I love that your H is being so sweet and excited. I'm crossing everything that this is your rainbow!

@GG620 that's such a bummer you have to wait! There's something so reassuring about seeing good numbers

@heatherdubrow it really is! On the upside I won't have to miss any work time since they are getting me in right at 7am but still...come on!

@chasingroygbiv It took me an embarrassingly long time to fully 'get' your username. Duhhh.

I was so much more prepared for this trip last year. I brought Preggie Pops and sick sacks and things to eat if the lunch (they're provided) was something like just cold sandwiches. :/ Today someone said the had wraps so I was picturing cold deli meat wraps. Luckily they had pizza, too.

Really, I'd give a nickel for some nausea or anything that felt really different from last time. But then again, my body kept on like the dang musicians on the Titanic. (*Extra TW* Seriously. Embryo quit growing? We'll go ahead and build a placenta anyways.)

I just want the 25th to get here so I can move forward either way.

  • @kiki75 hugs girl. My nausea has just now started really ramping up, fwiw. I hope time flies for you and you get to see a beautiful heartbeat on the 25th!
  • @kiki75 If it makes you feel better, I am somewhere around week 6, and my nausea is slowly increasing. It's still early. You could totally get more nausea in the next week or less.  <3
  • @kiki75 My nausea just got intense (24/7) over the weekend and I'm 7 weeks tomorrow. It could be coming!

I know this is the PGAL brain talking.  I'm barely pregnant and I cannot wait to get some symptoms.  It's just my irrational brain thinking that symptoms = progress.  My boobs are a little sore but I know that they were sore prior to the beta from the Crinone.  It's a different kind of sore from a couple of weeks ago but it's the progesterone.

  • @SP128 I feel your pain. I was just thinking how badly I want symptoms to kick in full force since that's all i know of successful pregnancy given my history. PgAL brain sucks. I'm sorry you're experiencing it. I'm right there with you.  <3

  • @SP128 I'm right there with you. My symptoms ceased pretty quickly with my loss, so I also equate having symptoms with progress. While I hate being sick, I personally love having morning sickness because it calms my anxious mind. Bring on the symptoms!
