Hi @amiglowingyet! You may want to edit out all your personal information from your picture. Anybody on the internet can see it.
These types of posts generally don't go well on The Bump. Most of us aren't trained ultrasound techs and personally I don't know anything about the nub theory, so I would say you have a 50/50 chance of it being a boy or girl.
Search "the nub experts" on fb and request an add. The ladies there are super friendly. Just post your pic and while you wait, you can compare to other pictures.
Based on what I've learned, I say girl, but I'm still new at it.

While I believe its fun to speculate I always tell my patients the same thing... At this point it is only speculation as there is no real founded research proving the nub theory. The only research I have found suggesting that the theory is true in all my years of practice is research conducted by the companies doing the early elective gender ultrasounds.
@gamilasalem82 I found an article after my NT scan that I'm pretty sure (but not 100%) was peer reviewed in a reputable journal. It wasn't a huge study, maybe only 200 patients but it concluded the nub theory was 100% accurate by something like week 12. At week 11, it was around 70% ish accurate overall.
I would say I'd look it up again, but I'm too lazy at this point If I think about it, I'll look through my history when I'm back at work.

I read on a website where they do this but they also to another theory where its based on where your placenta is. So if it on your left its a boy and the right its a girl. Its says to becareful how you look at it because if they do it normally than u just have to look at it the way it is. However if they do it by insertion then you habe to place the ultrasound on your stomqch because it isnt mirrored. If thats the case then my kids hubby and i need to get in the mind set that we might be having a boy
