I don't think tags are working today.... mmm weird
1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 16 weeks apparently a black berry or toms size 4 baby shoe

2) How are you feeling? umm ok, the dry heaving has stopped but the nausea/food aversions are hanging around. fatigue is slowly getting better but I still am drained at night.

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? nope team green. I've been showing for weeks now.

4) Any appointments this week/last? I have a midwife appointment tomorrow

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? no not much this week, other than its HOT outside so I've been hiding inside even though its beautiful. I just can't handle more than 15-20 min out without coming into the AC.

6) GTKY: What is your favorite thing about the area/town/city you live in? Optional add on Q: Where do you live? (stolen from Sunday, which was stolen from Saturday, ha!!) We have a ton of parks around town. In the winter everyone hides in their houses and once spring hits you see everyone out and about all the time. Its nice.

Okay--I'll start!!

1) How far along are you? How big is baby?

artichoke, 18 weeks

2) How are you feeling?
good, but hungry all the time. And more emotional lately. Loose joints have begun, as well, especially my hips.

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?

girl! yes, but the way I carry some people probably just think I'm fat in the middle. I look like how I looked at 24 weeks with DD, though!

4) Any appointments this week/last?

Looking forward to my Friday check up.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?

Here's a combo rant/rave: I'm potty training my DD. She mastered poop months ago, so now we are tackling peeing in the potty. So that's a rave. The rant is that this morning after she peed her pants at the library (no rant yet since accidents happen, and at least it was on tile!) I got her cleaned up with new underwear and pants (feeling good/smug about remembering a change of clothes) and ten minutes later she peed her pants again!!!!!! I mean, come on, two in the span of 20 minutes? Luckily I brought diapers, too, but we were out of pants by then.

My town is quaint and small, and has great schools and parks. My sister and her family and my parents live just down the road. When we talk about moving (mostly due to the high cost of living along with horrible commute conditions), we can't really imagine living elsewhere. The cultural options (museums, live music, etc.) are amazing. I can also walk everywhere--the grocery, restaurants, cafes, etc. We are 3 hours from snow and skiing in the winter and a five minute drive to the beach. We also have a lot of great friends here that we would miss. My husband is a musician, and the type of music he plays is really big here in comparison to most other places, so he has a network of musicians that is really only second to NYC or maybe LA. Also, our weather is mild year-round. It is 65 and sunny right now!

19 weeks today. Baby is as big as a: zucchini, mango, hot dog (I'd like to think a Chicago dog), classic Nintendo Gameboy

2) How are you feeling?
Starting to experience heartburn and worsening RLP, but otherwise pretty good.

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?

We find out the sex this Friday, I can't wait!! And yeah, the bump is now recognizable if I wear maternity pants, I actually got asked by the cafeteria lady at work this morning if I'm having a baby.

4) Any appointments this week/last?

Friday morning anatomy scan & check up!

5) Rants/Raves/Questions?

The usual work-related rants, especially annoying pregnant coworker today telling me more way-too-personal stuff while I sat there smiling uncomfortably and wishing she'd go away. Rave for the weather lately, besides the occasional rain it's been absolutely gorgeous.

I adore my town! I fell in love with it the first time I saw it (went with DH to an appointment) and was super excited when we found a few apartments and then a house we could afford. The schools are among the best in the state and the people in my neighborhood are sweet and wonderful. I could gush about it for hours! We're also a pretty quick drive/train ride to the city, and about an hour from my mom's house (perfect distance to avoid pop-ins, but easy enough for visits and urgent matters). The only thing that stinks is we live one town away from my mentally ill MIL (we had to install security cameras for this reason).

@lavashiner we are slowly trying to potty train the twins... mostly just introducing and they can sit on it if they want since they only turned 2 in april. However DD and now DS have learned how to get their diapers off... so the new fun thing is to sleep naked and of course pee all over their sheets/blanket. Knock on wood its only been pee....

2) How are you feeling? super emotional more than thw usual. I've been doing the random crying a few times a day. I think the stress of preparing for a vacation, waiting to hear if my husband got the promotion, and about to half way point in this pregnancy has been really getting to me.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? About to spill the beans about the pregnancy at work this week. Super nervous about how it's going to be received.

19 weeks! Mummy's little mango.

2) How are you feeling?
I've still been having a lot of really rough days. Lately I've been struggling with the food aversions to the point where I can't even watch tv because the sight of food or worse people touching it with their hands makes me Indra-vomit. Today however, I have been starving all day and eating every snack in sight. It is insanely hot here and work is busy as all get out so I'm pretty exhausted but I'm so happy not to be throwing up that I count today as a win.
3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing?

Victor Béla Eugene is my little boy! I have really popped in the last week or 2.

4) Any appointments this week/last?

2 this week. One with my regular doctor tomorrow and then my big scan with my high risk specialist on Thursday. So excited to see how big little V is getting! I'm also keeping my fingers crossed that my SCH will have cleared up and my placenta previa will be moving away from the cervix as the uterus grows. No bleeding in a long time *knock on wood* so I'm pretty hopeful.

I can't take any more 90's< weather! I am so over it.
I will rave about the fact that rainier cherries are on sale everywhere and I could eat them all day.

My favorite thing about our area is probably the many fun fall activities near here. We have great family friendly pumpkin patches and apple orchards, haunted houses, bonfires, farmers markets, and antique shopping.

@wabash15 whoa--I am so happy she hasn't figured that out yet! She can take a diaper off, but as long as there are jammies on top of it, she doesn't even try to get out of her diaper. I have a friend who swore that having her son sleep naked was the key to getting him to night train. Not sure how old he was, though.

I think I thought pee training would be easier since she took to pooping in the potty so early (at about her 2nd birthday!). Even though she is all about wearing underwear, she is definitely not about going to the toilet every hour. Ah well, yet another aspect of parenting to teach me patience!!!

@kersey0208 I've also been pretty emotional over this last week. While watching a movie last night, my H paused it and was like, "do you need a minute?! Good lord!" I hope you'll be able to relax and enjoy your upcoming vacation!

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 18 weeks, baby is the size of an artichoke/bell pepper

2) How are you feeling? I feel good! Much like weeks past, feeling so normal makes me also feel anxious... thankfully, I'll get so see baby this Thursday and it should calm my fears for a bit.

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? Yep! Baby is a little boy and I'm growing into the maternity shirts and shorts that looked a little silly two weeks ago.

4) Any appointments this week/last? level II ultrasound is on Thursday and I am very excited to see him and anxious to hear that everything is developing as it should be

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? We are really starting to stock up on baby items and I'm pretty excited about Target's baby deals this week as well as Prime Day baby gear. Shit is getting real!

6) GTKY: What is your favorite thing about the area/town/city you live in? Optional add on Q: Where do you live? I live in South Florida for career reasons and honestly really miss living up North - especially fall and the distinct changing of seasons. I do love the beautiful beaches and that many places are super dog friendly down here.

@lavashiner my SIL and i joke that our kids are opposites. her DS just turned three. mine is exactly three months younger. her DS has been pooping exclusively on the potty for 16 months (wtf!!) and still won't pee in the potty. my DS has been peeing in the potty since he turned 2 (now pretty much exclusively) but insists that he must poop in his diaper. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2) How are you feeling? 100000000 degrees. like so, so hot. my internal temp ramped up to another universe about a week and a half ago. i'm over it. RLP occasionally, some uterine soreness. still very tired at night but starting to toss and turn all night long and sleep poorly (the only benefit to first tri exhaustion was solid nights of sleep). nausea mostly much better. heart burn like a fire-breathing dragon! ugh!!

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? not yet. A/S is monday at the mfm. i've been showing for ages. i actually googled this yesterday, and i'm dead on the average of showing about one month ahead in subsequent pregnancies.

4) Any appointments this week/last? regular OB one this morning. HB, BP all fine.

5) Rants/Raves/Questions? mainly just ranting about heartburn, being 10000 degrees inside (and the weather, pfffft), and the annoyance of potty training. solidarity, ladies.

6) GTKY: What is your favorite thing about the area/town/city you live in? Optional add on Q: Where do you live? ehhhh. i really do love where i live but right now i'm cranky and annoyed at the cost of living so i can't be bothered to say anything good about it. i'm never going to be able to afford a house with a YARD. just a townhouse.

2) How are you feeling? Finally feeling better. Now to just get some motivation back to catch things up I've let go for the past few months.

3) Do you know baby's sex? Have you started showing? We are having baby boy #3 - Definitely showing. I'm almost out of all of my fat pants, and am going to need maternity clothes soon.

4) Any appointments this week/last? Anatomy scan on the 20th - Had an appt last week, she said everything looked good hb was in the 150s
