for a girl we LOVE LOVE the name Adaline (pronounced -Line not -Lynn)
but our names all have a double letter ( not intentional, we didnt even notice until the last one)
Should we spell it Addaline for the double letter sake, or should we spell it Adaline?
I am not opposed to either spelling.

I'd go with the more current spelling: Adaline.

Strangers won't know about the double letters in your names, one -d will save her from a lifetime of having to correct people.

I have a misspelled name. Don't do it. It will be nothing but annoyance for your kid.

I also like Adeline, but Adaline works too. Go with how it's spelled.

Prefer Adeline, but if you are going with Adaline, don't double up the 'd' just because.

I would spell it Adeline if you don't want her to have to correct people all the time. But either way, one D for sure.

thanks guys! I kept spelling with Adeline, but when I looked it up it kept showing adaline!

Yes to Adeline with one d. If you use the nn Addie then she still fits in with your family trend of double letters.
