Pretty good. Yesterday was a bit of a rough day - didn't feel great. But I usually feel pretty good. As long as I don't let myself get too hungry.

3. Any upcoming appointments and/or updates from recent appointments? I had one today. I was super nervous going into it (standard PGAL stuff), but it came out just fine. Doctor said everything looked great. They did the bloodwork for the various spinal issues, so hopefully that comes back fine. I forgot to ask how long it will take to get the results - anyone know?

4. Questions/concerns? Out of curiosity, anyone have a pet that "knows" you're pregnant. I feel like my one dog is much more clingy than normal (and also having some pee issues) because she senses my pregnancy. My other dog is clueless. Curious what others are experiencing.

Today I'm just stressed out due to work stuff. But otherwise, I'm good!

@Tennis11785 I was sooo excited for our dogs to "know" I was pregnant but they seem clueless. And at least one of them is really smart. Every time one of them rests their head on my stomach or something I get all excited and then I remind myself they did that before too. One of our dogs gets crated when we leave and her crate has been in the empty room that will be the nursery. We put our glider in there, and we've been getting DH's crap out of the closet (he took it over shortly after we moved in, knowing he'd have to move out if I got pregnant) and I feel like even the changes going on in there aren't tipping them off!

@Tennis11785 I feel like my cats totally know, but I have no basis for this. It's just a feeling I have. They're really into me lately. Glad everything's right on track!

Feeling good, except I messed up my shoulder AGAIN by sleeping on my fold out couch mattress (my regular tempurpedic was feeling too hard, so I needed a break), and my neck and collarbone and shoulder hurt SOOO BAAAD. Like I can't even wash my hair bad. Woe is me. I'm also stressed about selling my house - the buyers are coming tomorrow for inspections and they're already being annoying, so I'm anticipating some bullshit in my future.
Babywise I'm totally good! I just scheduled my 16 week US and the nurse said they MIGHT be able to tell me what the babies are, so here's hoping

and I'll be in Hawaii in exactly 1 week and I can't freaking waaaait!!

@Tennis11785 I'm pretty sure my pup knew before I did. I had remarked that she had become my shadow and would not let me sit alone right before I found out. Now she tries to snuggle with my belly every single chance she gets. I hope she's as close to this LO as she is wIth DS1

I had a few good days which I'm super happy about and did not take for granted but yesterday I got sick all over while driving on a major highway on way home from
work out of nowhere and it's been downhill since. Just trying to take it easy and pray it's just a small bump and the good days will still outnumber the bad.

3. Any upcoming appointments and/or updates from recent appointments?
Waiting on my AFP results but it's been a week so I'm assuming no news is good news? My next appt is in 2 weeks and anatomy scan is 7/28

@Tennis11785 Glad to hear your appt went well! Not sure about this time, but with DS I don't think my dog knew, but he sure took every opportunity to use my stomach as a pillow!
@breezybee Sorry about your shoulder! Every once in a while I sleep wrong and then can hardly move for a couple days. It sucks! And I'm super jealous of Hawaii!
@Marley629 I'm so sorry you're still feeling so bad. I really hope it gets better soon.

Physically, pretty good. I think my nausea is mostly gone. Just some tiredness mostly, but I'm sleeping good and so thankful for that since I know that will go downhill later.

3. Any upcoming appointments and/or updates from recent appointments? I had an appointment yesterday, nothing exciting. I swear it was the fastest I've ever been in and out of an appt, ever. I was there 15 minutes early, and they called me back immediately. After I was situated in the room to wait for the doctor, she was knocking on the door literally within 2 minutes. I was back to my car by the time my appointment was originally scheduled for!

4. Questions/concerns? Nope. I have a confession though. I received a gift certificate to one of those elective ultrasound places, so we are going next week. I hope we can find out the sex! It feels so cheesy though lol My anatomy scan isn't even scheduled yet and probably won't be until mid August, so I'm pretty anxious!

hanging in there, the nausea is getting better but not gone, it seems to be worse in the evenings. The dry heaving is significantly better this week. THe fatigue is also getting better but far from gone. Oh the gas has been bad this week... my poor husband. Even though I am in the beginning of the second tri I am starting to feel like this pregnancy is flying by and that there are so many ducks I need to get in a row before the end comes.

3. Any upcoming appointments and/or updates from recent appointments? I have a midwife appointment next week. so not much on that front for a few more days

4. Questions/concerns? no not much right now.

@breezybee sorry about the shoulder. I have been having knots in my shoulder and its obnoxious. I hope it feels better soon.
@Marley629 I'm sorry the HG teased you but then came back. This is a bit of a naive question but do women with HG "grow out of it" like with typical morning sickness or are they more likely to be stuck with it the whole pregnancy. (or is it an individual thing and everyone is different?) I really hope you get some extended relief soon.

@Tennis11785 my male chocolate lab 100% knows. He follows me around and stares at me. It's annoying as shit! Lol. He did the same when I was KU with DS

@breezybee we are trying to sell our rental and I totally feel you on the stress. It seems like there is always something that goes wrong when it comes to real estate transactions!

@wabash15 right there with you on the gas. My husband just shakes his head... he has given up on his usual snarky remarks because it's become all too frequent haha

pregnancy wise - good. I have a stupid cold, hoping to shake it in the next day or so!

3. Any upcoming appointments and/or updates from recent appointments? Midwife on Wednesday! I have to see a different Midwife from the practice because of my team of two, one is on vacation and *TW* the other just suffered a late-term miscarriage (I'm assuming based in the little info I was given she was mid 2nd tri). I'm being as supportive as I can but I can't help but worry how this will affect her ability to provide unbiased care for me.

@wabash15 my OB Was a little bit surprised that it isn't "gone" yet. Dr. Google on the other hand said most HG'ers feel better by 20 weeks but I have had friends where it lasted the whole pregnancy. I was sick with DS (not this bad tho) until 22 weeks so I have some hope i will have some weeks where I may enjoy just being pregnant

Well we had that ultrasound on Tuesday, and it was actually pretty cool. I was a bit scared of a 4D image this early being really alien looking lol But we got better shots than I thought we would. And we found out it's a girl! She was very cooperative so we got lots of good angles, and the tech was very confident, so we are going with it for now!

How are things going for you all this week?

@alysapuggles - yay for a good scan! And for joining team pink!!

AFM - I just got a call back from my OB. The bloodwork I had done last week (to look for neural tube defects) came back as everything looking good. Another test to check off.
