hahaha @muggle621!!!! I just never got into the story line, I guess? Maybe I was too old when the first one came out. I know my cousins who are a few years younger really got into Harry Potter.

ETA: Although I see you're older than me lol. So, I guess I can't use that excuse! I've mostly only ever been a non-fiction reader. It feeds my need to learn all.the.things. I don't do fiction very often. Maybe that's it.

  • @tosh24 I only recently read the series and I loved it! Highly recommend.
Also, I lol'd at 'magic dinner'! So true
  • @tosh24 that's blasphemy!!
  • @tosh24 I have never read or watched them either... I have zero interest
  • @muggle621 I feel us Potterheads are alone :)
  • I also have yet to hop on the HP train. But I'm also the girl that isn't crazy about Star Wars.

I too have a magic gas tank. I'm weird about putting gas in, I'll only put it in at certain gas stations. Phobia I guess, ha!

A kid at the pool today threw a MASSIVE fit today for his Mom who is totally that Mom that has the most angelic kids that would NEVER misbehave. I was giggling inside. Not sorry. Welcome to Mom Life.
  • I'm a huge HP fan! I've read all the books and seen the movies several times.
  • I'm glad I'm not alone in my love for HP!!!!
@dmo1371 I had a suspicion you were a fan the first time I saw your awesome gif!
@arhodes6 What HP relics are in your DS's nursery?

  • Harry Potter and Game of Thrones is life.

Mine is that I've been taking a nap every single day while LO naps, even on the magic days that I'm not so exhausted that I feel like falling over. And I'm not sorry.
  • I'm a Harry Potter nerd who recognizes that HP is not for everyone and that's okay.

  • @arhodes6 That is actually super neat and I am not at all into HP. Pretty unique for a nursery!

@missydallas amen to no greens. I got sick eating roasted cauliflower last night I don't even want to know what lettuce would do.

i have never read Harry Potter but my 8 year old has read all of them. I love the movies and have carried the book in my bag for two weeks but haven't even attempted to start it.

    I've never changed a diaper.  :#
I hadn't either, until my first was born. Don't worry. You'll get the hang of it very quickly. Also, newborn poop doesn't stink.

Omg, please read them ASAP. They are so excellent, and so much better than the movies.

Any time I see a Harry Potter movie come on (usually on that station that used to be ABC Family) I watch it. Even though I like the books WAY BETTER I still always stop what I'm doing and tune in. And if there is a marathon?? There goes my day/weekend.
    I like you.

I'm a big HP fan.  I watch them every time they are on tv, regardless of how many times I've seen them (or own them).   Our 4th grade team is doing a HP theme in our classrooms.

I haven't cut grass since we've been married.  It used to be my job at home.  DH will not let me, not that I'm complaining.
  • No mowing for me, either. @rachaeles Originally because I couldn't keep the riding lawn mower running and now because he's just too OCD with his lawn that he doesn't want anyone else to do it.

Like you, no complaints. I take care of the hanging plants and flower beds!
