@djd0404 Oh my gosh I've been thinking about pizza for the past like two hours. Not like I first had the thought two hours ago, it's really been present in my mind that long. Hahaha.

    15w2d today

No appointments lately, I'm in between my 12w and 16w check up (listening to the heartbeat :)). Just realized my 16w appointment is next week already so that makes me excited!

Not really any cravings, my stomach still feels uneasy some days but I'm trying to eat somewhat healthy now

Rave: pretty much everyone knows I'm pregnant now (family, friends, co-workers) and they have all been great! No weird comments or unsolicited advice yet :). We haven't (and probably won't) posted to social media... maybe if I posted there I would get a different response!

My husband has been great and super helpful. One cute/funny thing is how much he worries - about what I eat mainly. Most recently he was panicking because I used a circular saw for a house project and he's worried about the baby's ears now :(. He even had a nightmare about t last night, I feel bad!

Tell him it will be alright! I know they recommend keeping away from loud noises during pregnancy, but all that fluid around the baby is like a built-in set of earplugs. Baby can hear about as well as you can hear with an ear infection, or underwater at the swimming pool.  The loudest sounds to baby are going to be the ones from inside you (heartbeat, etc.)

All these stories about excited dads-to-be are making my day!

@elcd458 My DH is reading "Dude You're Gonna be a Dad", too! It's been his bathroom reading of choice, and I can always tell when he's read another chapter when he starts dropping little pieces of advice (like, "we're going to have to pack a hospital bag"). And he's also all about "treating us to DQ" just because he wants a cone.

@kyrwyn That line about your DH loudly singing a made up nursery song made me LOL

1.) How far along are you?
    14 weeks today!

2.) Any appointments this week/last? How did it go?
Went in last week instead of this week for my 14 week quick appointment since last time my BP was high so I wanted to make sure I got in sooner. Turns out my BP was much lower and Dr. is not concerned at all. Heard the heartbeat which was fun! The Dr. goes "this is you..." and you can hear my heart beat, then moves it to baby and goes "this is not you....".... It was funny in the moment.
    3.) Cravings?
Still Iced tea with Lemon.... but also ice cream/sweet treats
    4.) Rants/Raves/Questions?
My rant is that I just dont feel pregnant! I dont really look like it... and I dont feel bad... @elcd458 I feel like im in the same boat. I 'could' look more pregnant.... but It's really just fluff....
5.) GTKY: How is your SO handling the pregnancy?
I got DH the book From Dude to Dad and while it has ok basics, the tone of the book seems very juvenile... like for a 21 year old to read.... or at least that's how DH describes it. He's slowly getting more into it, and has been very sweet to me if I need or want anything. We are starting to work on names which is proving to be a bit more difficult, but overall he's excited maybe just a bit apprehensive about his role.

1.) How far along are you?
    17 weeks 1 day
2.) Any appointments this week/last? How did it go?
Last week we had a check up with my doctor to check on baby/get her filled in on the shenanigans that went down while she was taking some time off i.e. My bleeding issues from the SCH and Placenta Previa and my trip to the high risk specialists at the hospital. It was super helpful to talk to her about how she and the HR people will be working together because I was sooo scared that I'd have to see them and not her and I love my doctor.
    3.) Cravings?
I've been eating a lot of salmon. I really love those little preseasoned packets which I mix with corn and tomato and devour. Also I can't get enough watermelon.
    4.) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rave: I love my doctor. She is kind and patient but also completely no nonsense and no sugar coating which I love. She doesn't speak down to us ever which is so important to me when I think about d-day. I always feel super spoiled because I have an ultrasound every single appointment so I get to see Victor growing and changing which appeases my pgal brain especially with the bleeding. To make it even better my SL is the CNA/Office Manager so making my appointments and keeping in contact/asking questions is as easy as sending a text. It has really made us close and she has been such a comfort during the harder moments of this pregnancy.
5.) GTKY: How is your SO handling the pregnancy?
This will be DH's 3rd baby and he will be born 18 years after his youngest (almost to the day her BDay is 12.3 and LO is due 12.4) he is so excited and happy but is waaaay less frazzled about it than I am. He has been so protective and helpful. He goes out of his way to take care of me and to take the lead on house work. He keeps me calm and positive and he is already 100% intent on spoiling the heck out of his 'Little V' (He calls me Baby B and Byron our dog is always 'Little B' so Victor has been dubbed 'Little V')

@AMCsquared @balletnerd I want all the same things you two want! Bump, gender, movement! I think I might have a little bit of a bump, but it's still really hard to distinguish my gut from a bump.

@MJDsquared  My husband actually downloaded the Bump app before I did! Thankfully he mostly looks at it to see what size fruit the babies are lol.

@ashtynmo  @kyrwyn  It never even occurred to me that noises outside the womb could affect the babies before they're born! I'm not too panicked about it, but I'll keep that in mind for the future.

1.) How far along are you?
    14+3

2.) Any appointments this week/last? How did it go?
Had an appointment last Monday. It went great! They were moving all over the place and they finally looked more like humans than blobs.

    3.) Cravings?
None really, I just love to eat (but that was true before pregnancy too)

    4.) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Not currently feeling great. Think I might be getting a stomach bug.

5.) GTKY: How is your SO handling the pregnancy?
He's been excited, but DH also has an anxiety disorder which he is medicated for, so he's been dealing with some anxiety since learning we're having twins (can't really blame him!). He hasn't been sleeping much and he wakes up super early now. Even so, he's been cooking for me a lot and doing his best to be supportive.

@ktcakes87 My doctor recommended I get my anatomy scan scheduled for 18 weeks, but according to google they can be done anytime between 18 - 22 weeks. I'm not sure if he leaned toward the earlier side because I'm having twins or if that's just normal practice for their office.

@ktcakes87 My doctor normally schedules anatomy scans for 20-22 weeks and mine is scheduled for 19w6d. I will be out of town the following week, and didn't want to wait till 21 weeks lol.

@ktcakes87 My doctor prefers to schedule anatomy scans for 19-21 weeks, and I'll reach 19wks on the 7th. When they offered it, I said "yes" immediately because it means I get to kick off my bday weekend with a better look at baby. (Also I'd already taken PTO for next week, so it fit really nicely into my staycation plans.)

@ktcakes87 At my NT scan I was measuring 6 days ahead, and they told me it was up to us/my OB whether we wanted to keep my original due date, but then they made me schedule based on their measurement. So my A/S is August 1st, and I'll be 18+3 (19+2 by their measurement). I messaged my OB to ask and she said either way I'm within the window (so it must be 18-22 weeks according to them). But I kind of wish they would've let me schedule by my original due date because I don't want to be even a little too early and have to go back again.

@breezybee That sounds so good! I'm trying to decide what to get for lunch and it's probably going to be a sandwich. IDK where I'll find one with pesto sauce though   :(

@clovelyone They have it everywhere!  You just have to ask for it. Sometimes it's not displayed on the menu. Good luck!

@breezybee that sounds seriously incredible. I have been all about sandwiches lately, specifically roast beef/american/mayo/pickles on a nice crispy roll. So good.

@clovelyone @breezybee Mmmm I love pesto! I had pasta with pesto alfredo sauce for lunch yesterday and it was awesome (didn't feel great later, but it was delicious while I was eating it!)
