Got my betas back and they slightly more than doubled, went from 43 to 103. Since it's so early, the RE wants to do another beta on Monday. So glad we are headed into right direction.

@mdfarmchick that was incredibly rude of them to say that to you. I would switch just out of spite! I don't have an appointment with my midwife until 10 weeks and no ultrasound until 20 weeks (these ladies are in Boulder,CO and pretty crunchy. They don't believe in unnecessary ultrasounds which is kind of a bummer but I love them so much I don't care), BUT they did ask me if I have ever experienced a loss before they set those appointments. I hope you find a practice that will at the very least treat you with kindness and respect.
@Everycol0r I'm glad you had great betas! **TW** @arhodes6 if every single person that I know that has had a miscarriage in the past year hadn't told me that they had a completely different experience, I probably would have been less upset. **End TW** Anyway I got a referral for the best OB in town and was able to call and get an appointment for the first week of August ((basically the best I can do since I'm out of town for all of July)). I still have to deal with the insurance. And I don't expect that a Dr. that I have no prior experience with, or any history to just order labs without seeing me. I did think that the clinic that handled my miscarriage might actually do something. Apparently not. Anyway. I'm waiting until August at this point, either way.
@mdfarmchick WTF?!? Yes, you should absolutely be some where who CARES about your baby! I probably would have lost it on them.
@scoogy19@missydallas My doctor actually called me after hours today and said that my progesterone levels are "stellar" which has NEVER been the case and that my first level was 18000ish. I can't remember the exact number, I was so excited about the progesterone. I still won't hear anything about the second number until Wednesday though! Hoping for a big old doubled number!

18,000? Holy shit. I bet there's some twins in that ute!

I think we need a bingo chart for upcoming heated debates like first gender disappointment thread, first discussion on circ vs no circ, vaccination, sex vs gender.. we should start taking some bets.

Yes! But don't get ahead of yourself- we're bound to see some pee sticks soon before the real drama gets underway. I give it one week...

My husband would probably faint. He'd be happy but that initial shock...
Culver's chicken strips are everything. There's a Culver's right next to my Weight Watchers and I'm not ashamed to admit that I've been known to drive through right after my weekly weigh-in
That sucks cause it's freakin' delicious. The main thing there is frozen custard (I rarely bother going to DQ for ice cream since discovering Culver's), but the hot food is great, too.
I think it's based in Wisconsin- I'm in the Midwest and they've gotten relatively popular in the past 5 years or so.
Yes, Midwest thing! DQ ice cream has nothin' on Culver's! My all time fave is hot fudge and caramel mixer AKA a turtle mixer without pecans! I'll never get sick of it.... went and got a chocolate cookie dough blizzard from DQ and it wasn't even.... chocolate-y. Gross.
