Tired. Light headed. Nothing sounds good--ie, DH wanted to make deconstructed burritos the other day and they sounded awful. They did taste good so there's that. Ha. But holy tired. All I want to do is sleep. That doesn't go well with a toddler...
oh and weird pregnancy symptom? I am simultaneously hot and cold. All the time. It's gross because I'm sweaty and clammy. Ew.
Kind of tired, kind of hyper, nauseous and you're right nothing sounds good at all and most things don't taste good right now. I had/have a weird symptom too, itchy belly button. Very itchy.
I have no idea if this is pregnancy related, progesterone supplement related, or bad luck. I woke up Thursday at 3am with the worst headache I have ever had. I thought my eyes were going to explode. It got worse. I went to work and barely made it through. I went home and asked my parents to watch the kids. I don't know what I would have done without them. Then I couldn't move my neck. Stiff as a board. My Dad took me to the ER. All my labs pointed away from bacterial meningitis. It still could be viral though but I won't die. So that's good. I'm still bad, but at least I can see now. Good news though. They drew another HCG and my levels went from 120s to 5128 in one week. That made me feel better with my history I'm on call today so I hope I this migraine goes away. Adulting sucks.
@fiddleRN79 I'm taking 200mg oral progesterone every night before bed. Thursday morning I woke up with the worst stiff neck and so much dizziness. I didn't make the connection with it being progesterone related (just thought I slept in a weird position) but I guess it could be. I've been making sure to drink tons of water and sleep as much as I can and I've felt a little better each day. I hope you're able to get some rest today. Awesome numbers though! I'm sure that made you feel good.
@fiddleRN79@heatherdubrow@kbradley721 I've had nonstop headaches also but I'm not on progesterone this time. I don't remember getting them when I was on it but it certainly doesn't mean that I didn't!
So incredibly restless at night. I haven't typically been waking up, but I toss and turn, and wake up feeling so tired. A few days this week I actually took an early morning nap. Also, my boobs are sore.
Burping ALL THE TIME, peeing every hour, boobs are sore and huge, blue veins have made their debut, exhausted (I normally get so much done during naptime, and lately it's just also my naptime!).
So y'all usually feel a significant decrease in cramps when you are well hydrated? Trying not to read to much into things but this early on it's hard not too.

@Everycol0r, I felt more cramping in my second pregnancy and now in this one than I ever did in the first. I wonder if there's something to the fact that our bodies shift and change a bit differently with these pregnancies. I've had pangs here and there and some lower back cramping that doesn't seem to be directly associated with my hydration--just part of the gig. Hydration can certainly help in most cases, and so does keeping potassium and sodium levels balanced, but of course as with anything, it won't be our cure all. Not sure if this gives any sense of relief, but I'll couple it with positive thoughts your way!!
I was in my first trimester during the winter months with my last two, so I don't know how early this can impact us, but I starkly remember some pretty fierce sun burns when I started baring skin (during my 2nd and 3rd trimesters). I don't know that everyone's body reacts that way, but I know it's common for skin to be much more sensitive to sun when pregnant! Maybe this will help prevent any of you from suffering the nasty burns I did my first two times around (you'd think I'd have learned, right?!). Enjoy those pools and lakes this holiday weekend!!

Well this is my second pregnancy and I've not felt much cramping, hence my worrying. I'll feel better after tomorrow's 3rd beta but I just can't shake the foreboding.

@Everycol0r I think everyone is different!! I had cramping during my whole pregnancy last time but I know others have hardly any. Try not to worry!! I know it's hard.
@Everycol0r Try not to worry. I know it's hard because I feel like that's all I do over here BUT cramping is just like other symptoms. Some ladies have it, some don't.
Thanks ladies, y'all always know what to say. I guess PAIF brain and TTC for 3 years did more emotional harm than I realized. Thanks for putting up with me!

@Everycol0r this is my second and I don't have cramping at all. I did with my first so I was worried too, but every pregnancy is different so I'm trying not to read too much into it. I hope your beta goes well! Keep us posted.
I feel different this time around than the last time. I had a day where I felt like I was buzzed walking around then extremely tired. The dizziness lasted a day but the tiredness has stayed. I also get really bloated after I eat dinner. Other than that it's been fine! Minor cramping. My first pregnancy was a breeze so I'm hoping for the same!
I just feel.... hungover? Lightheaded, nauseated, nothing sounds good to eat or drink except Mountains Dew. What?!! I haven't drank that stuff since I was a teenager. I ended up asking my husband to buy one for himself just so I could have the first drink. Definitely got the side eye...
Started B6 and Unisom, though I'm only taking the one dose of Unisom at bed time and crossing my fingers that's enough. I just don't want to feel tired all day long. Without that though my kids wouldn't be getting breakfast because, vomit. Noticed some RLP during the night when I rolled over last night which caught me off guard.
@Everycol0r I haven't had anything that I would remotely describe as cramping and this is my second. Like @chasingroygbiv and @rachaeles I have been light headed and dizzy. I've also had some low grade headaches this time around that I never had with my first, which is odd to mans mostly annoying. I know that it is hard, but try not to worry. Fingers crossed for a good beta this week.
@Everycol0r Is it cramping or could it be bad gas/bloat? I had cramping with my daughter basically from start to finish, my doctor referred to it as an "irritable uterus" and told me to drink, drink, drink and pee as soon as I felt the need because holding it can cause cramping to be worse. This time I have soooo much gas (maybe from the Progesterone?) build up that I FEEL crampy, but I don't think I am (yet)... Hugs, I know it's scary.
Y'all are right, I'm borrowing trouble. It's nice to have someone to commiserate with and let you know you're reading into things too much. Sometimes you just need a human anecdote vs google. It could possibly be gas/bloat. Today I definitely haven't hydrated as much as I should have and now I'm feeling more tender/crampy. So I guess that is a huge part of it.

Ooh @Everycol0r reminded me. My abdomen is so tender. Like I've been working out for the last week which is definitely not the case. I did have a terrible bout of MS (maybe even a touch of the flu, I don't know, but awful) on Tuesday. Not sure if that's what did it or what?
Hope you feel better @Everycol0r. I had steady cramps with my daughter for he first 8 weeks or so. It's hard not to worry but generally cramps alone aren't abnormal.

Thanks! It's not that I do, it's that I don't.

Hungover is definitely a great way to describe how I feel. Bone-tiredness just hit me full force today, although it could be because I got maybe 3 hrs of sleep last night. Also super gassy- I'm terribly bloated, and have been dealing with bad burps that didn't hit me until later in my previous pregnancies. Fun! Super stuffy nose as well. Another weird symptom that I'm not sure is pregnancy-related is I feel super itchy everywhere.

@Everycol0r I know several people have already chimed in with the same advice but I wanted to add that I, too, don't tend to get cramping during pregnancy. I'm also lucky and don't normally cramp during periods- not sure if there's any correlation there.
@Everycol0r that description made me LOL so hard! I find my crabbiness is directly related to when I ate something last... Am I the only hangry one here??
So I thought I was being crabby and in a terrible mood, but when I apologized to DH for my attitude he said, and I quote, "you didn't seem like you were in a bad mood! You were a delight!" Haha ok calm down. I don't think I've ever been called a delight in my life so either he was lying to make me feel better or I am missing something!
@heatherdubrow@kbradley721 and @mylovelittlelove I found out that it likely wasn't the progesterone. My seven-year-old daughter woke up the following morning with similar complaints. We've both been in bed until today. Whatever it was, it was an evil bug that I hope we didn't share with the boys. Thank you for the feedback, and I'm sorry I didn't thank you guys sooner
