Hoping to finish the nursery today, maybe some fireworks tonight depending on how we feel. DH has to work Monday and he has to be up so early through the week I doubt we'll do anything Tuesday night. I think baby has dropped and I'm so sore and having lots of pressure. DS is working on 2 year molars so I'm sure DH just wants to make it through the weekend without too many meltdowns from either of us.
I'm going to finish up laundry and finish hospital bags today. We are going to the drive in tonight! Also going to start the quilt. Lunch at my parents and pool time tomorrow. I'm off the 3rd and 4th. Nothing planned for the third. Dinner at my in laws on the 4th.
baby is also engaged here and I get lots of pressure al day especially when I'm driving. Also, if he spins it feels like he is grinding diwn on my cervix....
DD is a hot mess between teething and having a cold. 2 year molars and she is done for awhile but I feel bad for her. She is also obsessed with me right now.
Nesting has finally hit for me! I think the whole, there will be a baby in my house next month, unless he comes early and then THIS month, has kicked me into high gear. I am going to clean out my closet/drawers etc, and finally put away all my winter clothes (they are still out) and take out my summer stuff, and go through and find larger non-maternity things that I will most likely want post baby. Dh is golfing today, and Im not going outside, unless I have to. Its going to be wicked hot all weekend.
Other things to accomplish: lists to pack for baby shower weekend in Maine, Lists of things to buy for PP, and just organizing in general.
Like I said, full Nesting mode!

Mommy to a super cute havanesse puppy and baby boy!
DH is painting the ceiling of of nursery as it did not happen last weekend. We are building our dresser and crib too. I ordered a plush bear head from Amazon and I hope it's delivered Sunday so that I can sew a faux bear skin rug for the nursery too.
We might go to a movie tonight but I have no clue if anything good is out right now. Any suggestions?

@SouthernMama15@morgy_bee Joining the club of pelvic pain and two year molars. DS gnaws on his fingers non stop, and has for months and no sign of these molars. He's been a miserable teether since day 1, and no end in sight. I swear, his last one will finally cut through just when this new baby is getting started!
We have a 2 year bday party and a 4th of July bbq today, so party hopping for us. Tomorrow we are heading to my in laws to swim, Monday DH is off so we are taking LO to a splash pad, then going to my Dr. Appt. Tuesday we will go to my parents to swim.
DH is working today so he can have monday and tuesday off. DD has never seen fireworks so we're seeing some tonight hopefully she doesn't freak! tuesday we'll be going to my grandparents party then DHs family's. we alternate which we go to first every year.
i'm ready for after the fourth because we are doing our nursery and baby shower captain america themed and we're gonna raid all the stores for 50% patriotic decor and party supplies!
@morgy_bee and @kristenk727 molars are Satan's teeth. He was a great teether except 1sr and 2nd year molars. He doesn't want to sleep or eat which is not conducive to a happy toddler. When he does sleep he's crying and talking in his sleep so he doesn't rest well. I feel bad for him, but I'm ready for him to be done with teething!
Nursery stuff today, picking up our glider, getting some more stuff organized and clean. Dinner with my family tonight.
My shower is tomorrow so I'm super excited and will probably spend Monday going through what we got, doing laundry, setting things up and making the 'what we still need' list. Tuesday =relaxing and fireworks.
TW: 1 infant loss 8/17: Our daughter was born 8/18: Our daughter kicked open heart surgery ass 2/19: We lost our son to Prader-Willi/Paradoxical Vocal Cord/ Noonans at 6wks old 4/26/2020: EDD for baby #3!!!
I got a prenatal massage yesterday, which was awesome! We are doing maternity pictures this evening and I'm going to get a blowout beforehand, so my hair looks nice. Probably going to a friend's cookout after that. Nothing much planned for tomorrow.
I'm working all weekend but my goal outside of work is to get a good start or done packing my hospital bag. My bp is starting to creep up so sadly I think I'm headed towards the same early induction I had last time.
DH is finally home from a week of work travel. It's been a heck of a week with the stomach bug hitting my toddler (even though he was just as active as ever!) and me having tons of contractions- and hormonal meltdowns... so I am getting my nails done! Oh and the in laws come to town tonight.

I am in the same boat. I was induced 2 weeks early last time and if that's the case this time I will have two weeks from now to be ready for a baby. EEK! im preparing for early labor or induction but hoping I go into spontaneous labor full term
So my bp is always good right away in the morning but creeps up as the day goes on. When I'm working it's bad, even after I rest a while. I have a feeling my Dr will want to talk bed rest soon. Yesterday it was 150/96. This morning was fine again. What time a day and how often do you check your bp? I check mine twice a day, in the morning right when I wake, and about 1-2 pm.
I check mine in the morning and in the evening. It's always higher later in the day too. Mine hasn't gotten that high yet. It is right on the cusp of normal and high. The doctors get a little crazy because I had a seizure 4 days pp with my first due to undiagnosed high BP. It's only high at the end of my pregnancies. I don't have Pre-E either, just PIH.
I was on bed rest at 150/90 but that was at 38 weeks and it wouldn't go down so I was induced the next day.
@morgy_bee I never diagnosed as pre e either just gestational hypertention. I was placed on bed rest at 36 weeks and delivered at 37w 6days (induced) I'm almost 35 weeks and seem to be following the same pattern but really praying to avoid it.
@morgy_bee@belmont1785 if you don't mind sharing... When/how did your doctors decide to induce you guys? I have mild pre-e but BP has been okay the last few days. Still on the high side, but not awful. Did they induce as soon as your BP hit a certain reading? Or waited until you were at least 37 weeks?

I called my doctor after I noticed my bp creeping up at 35 weeks. They had me come in of course for testing and monitor. They wanted me to make it to 37 weeks so I was placed on bed rest. I came in every two days for bp check and I can't remember what my readings were but I know it was close to what it is now. Most times i spent many hours in labor and delivery on monitors. Anyways... the day I turned 37 weeks, they sent me to labor and delivery with intentions of inducing me because my bp wasn't coming down. Because of my history (bleeding and clotting) they felt the risk was greater than reward to wait. But I begged them to wait a few more days because my husband was 16 hours away. They agreed to wait if I remained on bed rest and it didn't go up anymore. The day my husband got home we went in and we were sent straight to delivery I was 38 weeks that day and my blood pressure was still high and my doctor just said we couldn't wait anymore.
I really want to make some frozen meals, padiscles, and organize all the bottles/supplies but laying on the couch and drinking fruit infused water sounds more realistic right now. Maybe next weekend I'll do something!
I'm so exhausted after 3 parties in 2 days; my feet look like balloons from all the running around. Tomorrow we don't have to do ANYTHING (we have great family and friends who tend to leave our house in better shape than it was before the party).
I cant wait to put my feet up and eat leftover cake! I'm hoping I'll get motivated Monday/Tuesday, but tomorrow is all about doing as little as possible.
@secicc12 I'm in the same situation as you where I have mild preeclampsia. Blood pressure is higher, but not too bad. My doctor is waiting till I get to 37 weeks to induce. They're apparently not letting me go past 37 weeks as they had me cancel my appointment at 37+2.
Thanks @belmont1785@kathryn0903! Hope we can keep these babies inside as long as possible. Trying to remember that every day on the inside is a huge help for their growth.
Went camping this past weekend. Exhausting. No sleep for any of us (we stayed in my parent's camper). I just couldn't get comfortable even in my reclining lawn chair. Nothing. I was pouting because I all wanted to go do was for a walk but I couldn't go any longer than 10 mins without feeling like this kid was coming. Tons of pressure this weekend as well and more strange cramps. This kid needs to bake longer but the countdown is for sure on!
@EmyB30 I give you props for camping! The only camping I would want to do right now would have to involve a hotel, with a pool and spa, and room service. Glamping is more my style.

Right. That is what someone said to me while we were down there. I love camping and thought just relaxing and sitting in my chair would be great. Nope. I tried to enjoy it as much as I could since that will be our last "going away" until after baby boy is here. No such luck. We have another camping trip planned a month after baby is here so we'll see how I feel!
@tova24 it wasn't awful outside we had some nice big shade trees and a little bit of a breeze and night was comfortable. Plus my parents camper has a/c so I went in to get cooled off if I needed too. We did go to two wineries and thankfully my husband can read me and asked if I was uncomfortable and wanted to go back...yes please...so they took me to get homemade ice cream!
@SpotConlon that's impressive. When my sliding shower door broke I whined and complained and my property mgmt came and fixed it (they took it down and put a rod up ), clearly you have some mad skills!
