Here is my fur baby Lily. She's 15 years young and has still got lots of pep in her step. She's the sweetest dog there is and loves to chase her tail!

These are my two

The dark one is Cruiser and he is 2 and the lighter one is Jynx and she is almost 8.

Cruiser is my little lemon. Seriously the sickest dog we have ever had... From the get go with pano, chronic ear infections due to allergies and corneal dystrophy. Figuring out what he's allergic too has been such a challenged (#everything).
We traveled hours to get him from a breeder who specialized in protection training for competitions and his drive was great (breeders pick) but then it took a nose dive after pano (a really painful growing pain in the joints) and he got babied a bit too much by me while sick

so now he's the biggest suck in the world doesn't even lift his leg to pee LOL.

Jynx I got when I was 16 and I just adore her. She's one of those dogs that you think can read minds. Definitely more independent than Cruiser and she's im great health especially for her age. She's a great dog for when you're sad too because even though she's definitely not a cuddle dog - if you're sad, sick or hurt she comes and lays with you.

@Knottie8429110 your two are precious! Love German Shephards they are such nice dogs. Bless you for taking such good care of Cruiser, sounds like he's been through a lot.

These are my guys. Jetty is on the left. He's almost 9 months old and we rescued him in October. Cooper is my old man at 13 years young. He isn't thrilled with a puppy but he does love his new brother sometimes I think

He seeks his momma for protection from the "puppy-ness" sometimes. Our yellow lab passed away in August at almost 13, hence we have such the big age difference between them.

Since my husband is out of town, they are currently extra barky at the moment. I took the photos! I do photography on the side, and also do a lot of rescue/shelter photography which helps the puppers find new homes quickly!

Riri, he's 5, a ragdoll. The sweetest and most intelligent cat, he thinks he's a dog and follows around everywhere. Unfortunately he has heart disease and I will lose him soon

This is my 2.5yo pittie Wyatt. TW* He's actually certified as an emotional support animal since we got him after our loss. End TW* He's been so comforting and he's attached to my hip! Wyatt snuggles make everything better!!

I have heard that Ragdolls tend to act like dogs, lol. Siberians too. I am sorry to hear about his illness.

It sounds like he has a life full of love though.

@soontobemommahowe That is so great that he was there to comfort and support you! We have a pittopotamus too and he is the most sensitive out of the bunch. If I am sad, I can count on him to lay his head down by me and bargain for belly scratches.

@ChocolateIsLife yes "comfortable" is the word! He acts like he still been here forever the way he jumps on the couches and bed. Cooper doesn't mind being used as a pillow as much as he does being puppy swatted or jumped on

This is our guy Isaac, I found him while I was working Hurricane Isaac in Baton Rouge in 2012, our best guess is that he was about a year or two old at that time (based on his teeth). He's our incorrigible cuddly sweet boy and I love him!

This my fur baby, Barry, at his favorite place in the world, the park. He is a 2 yeard old Aussie Doodle (Australian Shepherd and Poodle Mix). He is the biggest sweetie in the world and loves to go for "walkies". He is my little therapy dog. He always knows when I need a snuggle. =D

This is our crazy girl Lily. She's 9 years old, we rescued her a little over a year ago shortly after *TW Animal loss, TW Cancer*, we lost our Siamese mix Darcy to cancer. She's a total goof and a total Daddy's girl. Her favorite things to do are whapping everyone with her tail, demanding lets, and getting good underfoot so you run into her and feel bad so you give her treats (that would be my DH of course).

We're actually making a calendar of her for my in-laws as a joke Christmas present (they bought her a "cat bonnet" gag gift last Christmas and asked for a picture of her in it. Which of course I took, and my mother in law joked that she could model for a calendar)
So here's one of my favorite pictures for that (September, her back to school picture)

This is great - looking at at everyone's animals is very uplifting when dealing with all this IF crap.

I can finally contribute because I just became a new puppy (okay dog really - she's 14 months) mom over the weekend. It's my first dog, but DH is more experienced having worked as a dog trainer in undergrad.

We adopted this sweet girl and renamed her Calliope (she'll probably just end up "Calli"). She's a Dobie mix with some Rhodie and maybe shepherd, we suspect. The papers that the rescue provided from the shelter at which her previous owner surrendered her indicate that she came from my hometown (about 200 miles away), coincidentally. We have no idea why she was at the rescue for 3 months (though it was a dobie-specific rescue and she is not purebred so that may not have helped), and feel super lucky to have her.

Here are our kittens, who are rescues from a shelter and sisters. The top one is Daddy's baby and stands on his shoulder and gets held like a baby. The bottom one is mine and follows me around.

This is a picture of lady and the tramp. The lady is Luna our pitty who is 6 years

old. She is a teddy bear; sweetest dog ever. The tramp is Simba our 3 year old terrier. Simba is in love with Luna and enjoys humping her all day long.
We will be adding to our collection soon.
