Diagnosis: Unexplained; DH always had lower than normal motility too but RE never said much about MFI. My BFP is a result of my 3rd IUI.

    Upcoming testing/appointments:
First ultrasound is scheduled for July 13th. I have no idea how I will stay sane that long with PGAL brain.

    Rants/raves/questions:
I feel like I am legit going crazy with symptom checking/obsessing. I woke up this morning with ZERO symptoms, although my mild cramping is back now. But my boobs don't really hurt all that much - only since my doctor put me back on the progesterone supps (I went off them because I thought I started AF and found out at my CD 3 blood work that my beta was +, after I just bought $1000 worth of Gonal F.......). But seriously, I keep squeezing my boobs, and checking for bleeding, and trying to feel any little thing that will give me an indication that I'm still pregnant. I need to chill but I don't know how. PAIF/PGAL is such a mindf*ck.

GTKY: What is your favorite trip you've ever taken?
I did England and France for a month with my family when I was in high school and that was a really awesome trip. I also did a school trip to Spain, France, Monaco, and Italy when I was 17 which really gave me the travel bug. We're doing a European vacation next summer so I'm having a lot of fun planning that (hopefully I'll be carting around a little one in my Moby)!

  • Why does it take FOREVERRRRRRR to get betas back? I haven't gotten anything  done today waiting for them to call!
  • @vflux33 found it! I knew one had been started!
  • @heatherdubrow Oh cool! I must have missed this because it's from the Thursday before last before I got my BFP. I will catch up on it and maybe we can start a new one too!
  • @vflux33 I dropped the ball on starting one this week!
  • I had my 2nd Beta today. Numbers went up, 3rd beta next Saturday
  • Hi! First time posting in this group :)

    Diagnosis:
    Didn't ovulate on my own.

    Upcoming testing/appointments:
Repeat beta Mon 7/10 (first beta was done Fri 7/7)

    Rants/raves/questions:
This is my 2nd (daughter is 19 mos), but I forgot how nerve wracking the early days are! Anxious to get the 2nd beta done, and then my RE said they'd do an ultrasound at about 6.5 weeks (4w5d today)

GTKY: What is your favorite trip you've ever taken?
Mexico for my husband's 30th! Mine is this fall and we were going to go back to the same resort... but not anymore! Damn Zika :(
  • I was going to make a new one, but I guess we're supposed to start this thread Thursdays so I'll just join the fun now and hopefully we'll get a new one going this coming Thursday!

@Cowboycorgi I love AZ/southern UT! My MIL lives right by Zion and we visit there a lot.

    @missydallas How was your beta?

@baybeesunflower Great news about your second beta! FX for a continued rise.

    Diagnosis:
NIR PCOS. Got my BFP about a week ago from a medicated IUI (Clomid + trigger).

    Upcoming testing/appointments:
7 week u/s with RE on 7/26 to check for heartbeat(s) and multiples.

    Rants/raves/questions:
I've never been KU before, so my head is spinning just trying to learn everything while simultaneously trying not to panic about not knowing whether this'll stick. I was so focused on IF that now that I'm here I need to learn all the things at once. I feel super lucky to be here--got KU on my very first medicated IUI. I also feel lucky that I get that first u/s through the RE at 7 weeks instead of 12 because I'd seriously lose my mind waiting an additional 5 weeks to know if things are on the right track.

GTKY: What is your favorite trip you've ever taken?
MH and I traveled around Italy for a few weeks toward the end of college, way before we were married, and we had an awesome time.
  • @vflux33 - it was great! Ultrasound scheduled for 7/21. Just more hurry up and waiting!

Our 8 week check is for heartbeat and multiples as well. I can't stop thinking if there's one or two in there!

Diagnosis: husband doesn't produce sperm. He had to be on injections 13 months before we had enough to freeze.

Upcoming testing/appointments: first ultrasound Friday at 6 weeks to check for heartbeat

Rants/raves/questions: these cramps are terrible! My February transfer of a Pgs/pgd normal 6AA embryo failed and I had a ton of cramping. I know cramping can be "normal" in early pregnancy but it's still driving my anxiety!

GTKY: What is you're favorite trip you've ever taken? I'd have to say when my husband and I went to Aruba! Everyone is so friendly and I liked how small it was - the drinks weren't bad either
  • @missydallas Great news! Wow so at least 3 of us may have more than one in there--how exciting!

@ivfgotthistwice I feel you on the cramping--it's my major symptom right now and I'm constantly checking toilet paper for AF because I still don't totally believe this yet. Hopefully your cramping is nothing to worry about. FX for friday--that's coming up pretty soon!
  • @ivfgotthistwice do you mind if I ask YH's DX? My brother has azoospermia and they had to use a donor. They never mentioned anything about injections helping.

  • @Everycol0r he has hypogonatotropic aka kalmans syndrome, it's X linked. Basically, he hit age 17 and he hadn't hit puberty yet so they got concerned. He now maintains it with high dose androgel but in order to get enough for ivf he had to be on a special cocktail of meds that allowed him to produce 5 vials of sperm. We've had 4 retreivals, and 4 transfers (transfer 2 resulted in a baby girl) We also did Pgs/pgd testing due to this gene.

@vflux33 I am doing the same! I check for AF EVERY TIME! I just need to see the heart beat Friday so I can get semi normal.... that is until I have to wait for the next ultrasound

    Diagnosis:
Unexplained  - We got a BFP after our first IVF fresh transfer.

Upcoming testing/appointments:  Wednesday is my 2nd beta .  We have 3 embabies that made it to biopsy and freeze.  No results on those yet.

Rants/raves/questions:  Nervous that this embaby was not tested.

So jealous of everyone who go to transfer two!  Stupid insurance said single only.  Blah.

GTKY: What is your favorite trip you've ever taken?  Last year we went on a two week honeymoon to Hawaii.  Would do that again in a heart beat

@vflux33  Every tine I go to the bathroom I check for AF.  Every time I feel anything I check.
