1) How far along are you with which number?
2) Are you feeling movement? Earlier or later than previous pregnancies?
3) What is your favorite (or least annoying) symptom?
4) How has your husband or SO responded in labor/deliveries past? (Humorous stories encouraged)
5) GTKY: (Sorry if this one has been done. I can't recall.) How did you meet your SO?
Re: STM+ check in 6/21
We met when I was 17 and went to FL over summer break to visit my aunt. She introduced us so I would have somebody around my age to hang out with while I was there. We started dating pretty quickly and dated on and off for 11 years. This year is 3 years since we have been back together for good and 14 years this month since we first started dating.
Yes, much more consistently now and even ocassionally from the outside! I probably felt the first flutters a little later than last time, but the outside kicks were about 2 weeks sooner.
My husband and I were both surprisingly calm for at least the first 18 hours. However, he did tell me in the car on the way to the hospital that he didn't like our boy name anymore (we were team green). That was slightly infuriating, but luckily we had a girl!
He also posted an internet picture of a newborn on facebook while I was still in labor. Just for kicks. The funny part was, even though the baby in the picture was a different race, he/she looked strikingly similar to ours.
We met at summer camp. He is 3 years older than me, so he was actually a counselor in my group. Once I graduated we worked one summer there together. We also went to college together, but we didn't actually start dating until after he graduated.

SO MUCH MOVEMENT. Way earlier than with my son. I love it! Can definitely be felt from the outside too which my husband and son love! Last night my son had his hand on my belly and felt her kick and he got so excited! We tell him that is her way of saying hi to him
+1 to the movement. I love it. I also love the awesome skin and hair.
He was great! Maybe a little reserved at first but once things got going he was awesome.
Funny story- I was in full labor (no epi yet) and I kept telling him "I can't do this I can't do this". He said "It's a little too late for that now". My response was "wrong answer asshole". Not sure where that came from, or why I felt the need to YELL it, but man was it funny. I burst out laughing after, he did too, and I thought the nurse was going to pee herself.
Mutual friends! Starting talking via internet for a couple weeks then met in person. Been together 10 years!
17&6 with baby #2!
Definitely kicks and flips but still nothing from the outside yet. I had an anterior placenta with DD so I didn't feel anything until 21 weeks.
My bump! Does that count? Lol. I love being pregnant and this quickly growing bump. I just think pregnant bellies are so cute!
DH was surprisingly great! Originally he didn't want to look 'down there' while she was being born or even cur the cord. He was super supportive. He did end up watching and was amazed. He even ended up cutting the cord. Hoping this time is even better even.
DH and I met in high school (I was in 9th grade and DH in 11th). We had a mutual friend. Every morning I ate breakfast with the same group of people. Apparently said mutual friend owed DH a favor. DH told said friend, "I want you to introduce me to that girl you eat breakfast with every day!" I wanted nothing to do with DH that morning but ended up needed a ride home from school. DH gave me a ride home from school and the rest is history.
we met in a class in college, I was kind of a cocky jerk when we first met but thankfully he stuck around long enough to find out I am not always like that. We got engaged 8 weeks later. Lol super fast but I was absolutely certain I wanted to marry him within a week of starting to date. We have been married 5 years and together almost 6 years now.
Online. We had mutual friends and started talking online randomly one day. After we had officially started dating, our mutual friends were all like "I totally should have introduced you guys!" You get no credit we did this ourselves.

I am feeling movement. It's amazing! I never felt anything like this with Emma baceuse she had an anterior placenta.
the movement, for sure!
He's amazing. He's completely comfortable around stuff like that. With Emma they were about to break my water. He was eating a salad and was directly across the room from us so had a perfect view. The dr said you might want to look away since you are eating and he said "eh, dinner and a show!".

I'm feeling movement and kicks now. Not sure if its earlier I think its about the same
Good hair!
Ive had 2 c-s and he is right with me so I love and need that. He always looks right in my eyes and tells me loves me.
We met in our Masters program. I was lonely in a new City with no friends and every time I saw him he made me laugh and smile. I fell hard! Thankfully he did too! We were inseperable and made a great friend group we are still really close with.
18 weeks with baby#3
Yes, finally feeling movement more consistently the last few days. I've felt it earlier than with my first, but later than with my second.
I have to agree with other posters that the movement is the best. It doesn't matter how many pregnancies I go through, it is truly the most special feeling in this world.
DH was amazing. He was so attentive and nurturing. After that experience I was ready to have like 10,000 babies with him lol. Not really funny, but kind of cute...he took notes and "journaled" the labor & delivery. He even noted what I wore to the hospital and score of the Bulls game.

Any sort of movement, even if it isn't a lot, and my baby bump!
He was extremely supportive. I had predromal labor and went through 6m labor pains from about 8pm- 5am ish every night for five nights before DS was born. He would wake up and pray the Hail Mary with me to help me get through contractions each night. Even when I was in too much pain to pray it, he prayed it for me.
In the hospital, he held my hand, he held one leg as I was pushing, he texted my parents and sister updates along the way... he was perfect. I told him that if anything happened, he should go with our son if he had to go to nicu. And he did, and my husband just looked at me and I nodded and he went. He remembered and did a great job of staying with our son.
we met on match! We dated for a year and then were engaged for a year, and this August will celebrate our 4th anniversary!
