How big were your babies? Did they get bigger each time? Just curious.

Both of mine were around 7.5 pounds and 19.5 inches.

My first was 7lb2oz and 21 inches. My second was 9lb7oz and 23 inches. My OB told me that the type of jump in size between my two is not at all typical. (I was worried about another 2.5lb increase.) She did say that babies usually get a little bigger with subsequent pregnancies.

My first was 9 pounds even and 22 inches. I'd rather not go up from there

ETA: She was born on her due date. I don't even want to think about having a late baby.

My first was 6lb 9oz and my second 6lb 8oz. Both born at 38 weeks.

1st (DS) was 8lb6oz. 2nd (DD) was 8lb14oz. Both were 21" (I think!)

My first was 8lb10oz at 41 weeks. My second was 7lb even at 38 weeks. I'm sure my second would have caught up to his brother's weight had he been full term.

My first was 5 lbs 10 oz and my second was 7 lbs 7 1/2 oz both born one day before due date. I'm very petite and it was my first which is why my midwife said my oldest was so small. My second got stuck at the shoulders and they will have to monitor this baby's weight and possibly induce if baby is nearing that size again.

My first was 9lb at 41+4
Second was 7lb at 38
Third was 6lb at 36

So babies got smaller..... but their gestation got shorter also.

41 weeks, he was over 9 lbs and 22.5 inches. His official weight was 8lb 15oz but they wait an hour to weigh him at the birth center and he had literally pooped all his meconium out already (on me, thanks kid) So he was somewhere around 9lb-9lb 4 oz they estimate.

My 1st was 9lbs.3oz. at 39 weeks, second was 8lbs. 4oz. at 40 weeks and third was 8lbs. 8oz. at 41 weeks.... So no trend there.

My first was 9lbs 4oz at 38 1/2 weeks. My second was 11lbs 2oz at 40 +3. He has consistently been bigger than my first at various milestones. I feel like that is a trend amongst my friends that there second is bigger or taller than the first at the same age.

@BayCamp My DD did that too! I told the nurse she was pooping and the nurse promised me it was just gas from the c-section drugs and she seemed seriously surprised to find DD actually had pooped. Lol

On topic, DD was 7lbs 15 oz, 21.5 in at 39+6. I have some room for this one to be bigger but I am okay if that is not the case too.

DS was 9lbs 12 oz and 21". I hope this one isn't bigger. She's already estimated at 14 oz. though

My first was born at 36.4 weeks and only weighed 4 lb 13oz. The doctor said if he had been much bigger I would've had to have a C Section because my hips didn't widen enough so I'm kind of nervous about what will happen this time. But currently I'm looking at a C Section anyhow if my placenta doesn't move.

@kissthesky32 and @ooodalollly - I had C-sections. They realized while labouring with my first my hips are misshapen and the baby couldn't descend. And they are large. Thank GOD for C-sections. My Dr. is planning on booking the C-section 7-10 days before my due date due to size this time. Not sure I can do another 11 pounder!

2nd was 6lbs 4oz 19" long at 36 weeks

I make tiny babies and my vagina appreciated that lol

I am super worried about this for some reason! My daughter was an even 6 and I feel like my body could barely handle it. lol. She was almost 3 weeks early and a super fast labor. I am very interested to see where this one leads and I'm hoping for the best. lol.

Second 7lbs 15oz boy
Third 8lbs 3oz girl
Fourth & fifth (26week twins) 1lb 3oz & 1lb 13oz girls

My term babies were all a couple days shy of 40 weeks, and I was most active with my third. My body likes to cook "big" babies I guess lol

DD- 39 weeks- 8lb 1 oz and 20.5 inches
DS- 41 weeks- 9lb 1 oz and 23 inches
Baby boy will be a c/s around 39 weeks so hoping he won't be more than 9lbs.

DS1 37.5 weeks and 7lbs even.
DS2 39 weeks and 7lbs 14oz.

Both were 22" long. I will say, though, that my second labor was half the time of my first. I'm hoping for that again! Lol

I had GD with both and I'm hoping this one doesn't come out 10lbs 9oz!

Doctor said my body isn't built to carry anything over 8lbs and was shocked that DD2 stayed in so long! They literally had to rock me back and forth to get her out during my c-section.

@kissthesky32 Ours are similar! I guess we shall see.

1st baby 8 lbs 10 oz 40 weeks, I was c section due to failure to decend. I'm very petite.
I would like to try a Vbac, but I know if it's another big baby I wouldn't be a candidiate.

I have One boy, 7 lbs 15 oz at 40 w and 3 days. However, he did poop in utero due to being under stress (never changed a meconium diaper.) so he probably would've been 8 lbs.

DS was big, almost too big, and I'm praying for a smaller baby this time. I hope that doesn't make me horrible

DS1 was 8lbs 10oz at 39 weeks.
DS2 was 10lbs 10oz at 40 weeks.

I'm hoping this one doesn't follow the trend of her brothers and pop out at 12lbs 10oz. All my babies have been and will be c-section babies. DS1 got stuck, I'm pretty sure DS2 would have been too. They were each 19 inches long.

At our anatomy scan she even said "how big was he? (DS)" I told her 9lb 4oz. She goes "sorry honey, I think this one will be bigger"

@BayCamp -My first was exactly 9lb 4 oz, my second was 11lb 2 oz. I'm getting a C-section about 7-10 days early to hopefully prevent another that big! I'm 5'3 - there isn't enough room for that much baby!
