I love going to the beach and boating. I am going to miss out on tubing behind my friend boat! I also, don't feel like i can withstand the florida heat as well as i could pre-pregnancy. I need to find a pool to go to to replace beach.
Any upcoming appointments this week? Unknown...just found out I didn't pass the 3 hour glucose test so likely for that. Also I am being recommended to a perinatologist because part of the heart hasn't been seen in the last 3 ultrasounds we have had done.
Oh we also have our birthing class Friday and Saturday.
Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? I want all the ice cream knowing now I can't have all the ice cream.
Rants/Raves/Questions? 1. Anyone have any good websites for GD resources?

And what, if anything, do you feel like you're not going to be able to do this summer that you'll miss as we all move into our 3rd trimesters? Well with the recent glucose screening it is eating tons of fruit and ice cream Also the energy I usually have in the summer months with the long days isn't there this year.

How far along are you? 28 weeks today! 3rd trimester no matter what app you ask!
How big is your baby (babies)? I hate all the sizes this week. About 16 inches.
Team Pink/Blue/Green (if you know)? Blue!
Any upcoming appointments this week? We are continuing child birth classes...I have something every week now and actually only two weeks after this one where I don't have an actual appointment of some kind scheduled....it's getting so close!
Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? Hip and back pain like crazy. I'm also super gassy. :-/
Rants/Raves/Questions? We got our car seat and stroller combo in the mail on Monday....and still haven't opened them! Monday DH was too tired when he got home and yesterday he threw his neck out while we were at birth class so I didn't even mention them. LO's Godmother is coming over tonight so I'm hoping we'll set it up today. So excited!

And what, if anything, do you feel like you're not going to be able to do this summer that you'll miss as we all move into our 3rd trimesters? So...does being inside with AC and a book count? I do not tolerate heat well, pregnant or not. I do LOVE summer nights though. Sitting around our fire pit is awesome...and something I am a bit worried about because the smell has been a big nausea trigger.

And what, if anything, do you feel like you're not going to be able to do this summer that you'll miss as we all move into our 3rd trimesters? I'm not a fan of the Summer heat. I like grilling out and eating ice cream and popsicles, which I still intend to do
How big is your baby (babies)? New England Cotton tail Rabbit! Or an acorn squash.
Team Pink/Blue/Green (if you know)? Pink
Any upcoming appointments this week? Endo today, OB on Monday to get my TDAP shot!
Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? Nothing really new per se. DH and I watched my belly move all over the place last night - she was being wild. Back pain seems to be a tiny bit better just ever so slightly. Heartburn definitely comes and goes in waves. It's either there really really bad making me cry or its completely gone. Which makes me forget about asking for medicine at the OB.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Our dresser for the nursery got delivered and there's two paint defect spots in it, so today a repair guy is coming to see if he can fix it. I hope so with with a paint marker, because the rest of the dresser is beautiful and I don't want to take all my cloth diapers out if it again.

And what, if anything, do you feel like you're not going to be able to do this summer that you'll miss as we all move into our 3rd trimesters? I do like going swimming and going out on the boat. I feel like I can't do either. Def not the boat now (my husband likes to do water sports) and I can't watch him do his tricks. There's also a 1 yr Olds party coming up and of course it's a pool party! I'm like.. eek. Not gonna be in a bathing suit around all these people. So sad.

And what, if anything, do you feel like you're not going to be able to do this summer that you'll miss as we all move into our 3rd trimesters? Beach trips are my favorite summer activity (however, being a Floridian we can beach almost year round). Can't think of anything really that I won't be able to do? We still take the boat our regularly. Won't be able to enjoy any piña coladas!
How big is your baby (babies)? Camping Lantern, which seems large, until he pokes my ribs and bladder at the same time...

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? I am STARVING in the mornings. I have an egg sandwich before I leave for work and then around 10 I HAVE to eat second breakfast. This seems strange to me since we eat dinner so late and I am usually not hungry at the end of the day.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant: We still haven't even touched the nursery. Still deciding on colors, bedding etc. Oh well, if worst comes to worst I do have a baby box so at least he will have somewhere to sleep.

Any upcoming appointments this week?
Had an appointment for an echo earlier this week due to concerns regarding my heart murmur. Still waiting on the results. I'm hoping that no news is good news. Next monthly OB appointment is next Monday.
Any new symptoms or changes or cravings?
I've turned into a slug in the evening -- absolutely no energy these days. And, I have very little motivation at work. Counting down the time until maternity leave begins (In two months from Saturday).
Rants/Raves/Questions? Got a big bag of hand me down swaddles/clothes from a co-worker who had a baby last month. Since I'm not having a shower I'm glad to have the hand me downs. I also got to visit with her 5 week old little girl which intensified the desire to snuggle my own.
GTKY: While summer may feel like it's been going for months already, technically it starts this week! So in honor of summertime: What is your favorite summer weather activity? And what, if anything, do you feel like you're not going to be able to do this summer that you'll miss as we all move into our 3rd trimesters? We live about ten minutes from the beach, so while we go to the beach during the off-season, I'm looking forward to sunny beach days this summer. I spent most of my third trimester of my last pregnancy in the pool, so I can't wait for it to warm up enough to get back in my maternity swimsuit. For the past two summers we have gone camping for a weekend, but this summer sleeping on the ground does not sound appealing. I'm hoping that we can still get a reservation in a yurt with a bed at our usual campground.
Team Pink/Blue/Green (if you know)? Team green! - Getting impatient!
Any upcoming appointments this week? Today, followup after glucose.
Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? Strawberry shortcake and roasted corn.
Rants/Raves/Questions? So hot all the time, especially when I am trying to fall asleep! Investing in a fan before I break the bank on the AC.

And what, if anything, do you feel like you're not going to be able to do this summer that you'll miss as we all move into our 3rd trimesters? On a boat or a dock bar drinking an orange crush. I miss boating a lot, I get nervous going too fast or out when the water is rough.
How far along are you? 29w, I can't even handle it right now.
How big is your baby (babies)? 1 gallon jug of milk
Team Pink/Blue/Green (if you know)? Boy
Any upcoming appointments this week? Yesterday. I had my 28w and the GD test (again). Hopefully I'll get my results today! I start having appts every 2 weeks now, shit is getting real!
Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? More acid reflux. Slightly less pelvic pain, yay!

And what, if anything, do you feel like you're not going to be able to do this summer that you'll miss as we all move into our 3rd trimesters? Hiking. I miss hiking so much, but any decent length/ increase in elevation at this point would leave me barely walking for a week. I'm hoping to get some kayaking in, though.
I wanted to do more GIFs/memes, but I don't have time to go find them right now.

How big is your baby (babies)? Camping lantern.

Any upcoming appointments this week? No.
Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? Stuffy nose. I feel like I'm getting a cold again.
Rants/Raves/Questions? My birthday is Monday. I'm not particularly excited about it. Always thought I'd have kids before 30, but it's the 3rd anniversary of my 29th birthday.
GTKY: While summer may feel like it's been going for months already, technically it starts this week! So in honor of summertime: What is your favorite summer weather activity? And what, if anything, do you feel like you're not going to be able to do this summer that you'll miss as we all move into our 3rd trimesters? We usually play mini golf a ton in the summer. Don't think we'll do that this year. Too hot for my giant belly to be outside for 18 holes.
Any upcoming appointments this week? Just had one yesterday, so now nothing until July 6.
Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? Insomnia and heartburn, but those aren't new.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Insomnia is the worst. I've had insomnia off and on for years, but none of the things I normally do to deal with it seem to work for my pregnancy insomnia. Would really like to get some rest before baby arrives...
GTKY: While summer may feel like it's been going for months already, technically it starts this week! So in honor of summertime: What is your favorite summer weather activity? And what, if anything, do you feel like you're not going to be able to do this summer that you'll miss as we all move into our 3rd trimesters? I like to spend time up at my family's lake house in Maine swimming, hiking, and kayaking. Due to my risk of preterm labor, we're staying pretty close to home for the summer (especially since the Maine house is in a rural area and 3 hours from our hospital) and I'm also on activity restriction, so can't do most of my favorite active things! Looking forward to taking the baby up to Maine next summer!
Any upcoming appointments this week? GD test, ultrasound with MFM, and first NST test with OB.
Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? I am waking up every hour at night. I am exhausted.
Rants/Raves/Questions? None

And what, if anything, do you feel like you're not going to be able to do this summer that you'll miss as we all move into our 3rd trimesters? My favorite activity is spending time with family and traveling. My family will be coming out to visit, but no traveling for me this summer.
My husband died laughing when I showed him that the baby is now the size of a sriracha bottle.
Team Pink/Blue/Green (if you know)? Team Pink
Any upcoming appointments this week? Monday, we should be scheduling the C section at the appointment.
Any new symptoms or changes or cravings?
Not really. Though out of the blue I had a hankering to bake yesterday, that's never happened before. I guess I'm nesting?
Rants/Raves/Questions? I had my first trip to labor and delivery triage this week (everything was fine, but the doctor wanted me to get checked out). I was so grateful that everyone at L&D went out of their way to be reassuring, telling me I wasn't crazy for being concerned and I did exactly what I was supposed to do.

I need to swim more. We went on vacation earlier this month and spent a day at the pool. It felt so good to just float and have no pressure on any part of my body.
I don't think I'll be able to get to any baseball games this summer. It's too hot already and it's so hard to stay comfortable in those seats for three hours.

I really wanted to take my boys to the beach or the water park but I don't think it'll happen this summer.

I love going to the beach and boating. I am going to miss out on tubing behind my friend boat! I also, don't feel like i can withstand the florida heat as well as i could pre-pregnancy. I need to find a pool to go to to replace beach.

Well with the recent glucose screening it is eating tons of fruit and ice cream Also the energy I usually have in the summer months with the long days isn't there this year.

28 weeks today! 3rd trimester no matter what app you ask!
I hate all the sizes this week. About 16 inches.

We are continuing child birth classes...I have something every week now and actually only two weeks after this one where I don't have an actual appointment of some kind scheduled....it's getting so close!
Hip and back pain like crazy. I'm also super gassy. :-/
So excited!

So...does being inside with AC and a book count? I do not tolerate heat well, pregnant or not. I do LOVE summer nights though. Sitting around our fire pit is awesome...and something I am a bit worried about because the smell has been a big nausea trigger.

So sad.

Not really. Though out of the blue I had a hankering to bake yesterday, that's never happened before. I guess I'm nesting?
I had my first trip to labor and delivery triage this week (everything was fine, but the doctor wanted me to get checked out). I was so grateful that everyone at L&D went out of their way to be reassuring, telling me I wasn't crazy for being concerned and I did exactly what I was supposed to do.

I need to swim more. We went on vacation earlier this month and spent a day at the pool. It felt so good to just float and have no pressure on any part of my body.
I don't think I'll be able to get to any baseball games this summer. It's too hot already and it's so hard to stay comfortable in those seats for three hours.
