Baby Names

Girls, Girls, Girls..

For fun since my hormones have been raging and dreaming of having just one more little girl...

I have two little girls - Harper Jean and Madison Bridget

I know my choices are not always popular with everyone here, but they are what hubby would agree to! :)

Would you rank in order these names if we went for #3.. and add a suggestion of your own??

Delaney
Lily
Skylar
Mackenzie
Haley (or Hailey?)

Thanks in advance!!

Re: Girls, Girls, Girls..

  • Mackenzie and Haley are too matchy to your current girls

I Dont dislike Delaney it would be my vote. I'm not a fan at all of Skylar and Lily is so overdone

  • Lily
    Delaney
    Haley
    Skylar
    Mackenzie

    Adding Tessa
    DD: Ophelia 5/18/15
  • Hailey or Lily ditch the others.
  • Lily is the best out of the choices. I would stay away from another H or M name but that's just my preference.
  • Hailey
    Lily
    Mackenzie
    Delaney
    Skylar

    I would add Kelsey

Thanks! Are you saying too matchy because they start with the same letter as a name I already have? Or does something else about them feel too similar?
  • Hailey
    Lily
    Mackenzie
    Delaney
    Skylar

    I would add Kelsey
Thanks! I lIke the name Kelsey!

I think it goes beyond the first letters matching. Madison and Mackenzie are both M but also masculine turned feminine names that are both used heavily. Harper and Hailey both H names heavy on the HA. I think all seperate they are fine but adding either to your current sibset it's a bit matchy. I feel like delaney matches well and completes the set. Others might be

    Quinn
    Riley
    Blair
    Arden
    Sloane
    Addison

    Thank you! That makes sense.
I like Quinn and Riley. They were on a short list for #1 but were vetoed. Putting back on the list!
